Hi Marilyn, This video playlist gives a couple of seam tutorials and there's full seam-sewing in most of my courses. ruclips.net/video/cX75N4MSKVw/видео.html Happy knitting!
Hannah, hello I am new to your channel whilst trying to find some tips on how to knit a neat cable. When I knit cable using a cable needle (whether it be straight or shaped) I always have a hole where the stitches separate. What am I doing wrong? 💐💐
Hi Gwen, this might be the size of yarn and needle - the thicker the yarn and needle the bigger the hole. And also the less stretchy the yarn - such as cotton - the more likely you're going to get a hole forming. Because it's also something that is going to happen. As you're moving the stitches over a group of other stitches, the ones on the edge will have to stretch and so cause a hole. Happy knitting! 🧶
Thank you Hanna, I have started the pattern but somehow I picked up extra stitches! Also I have seen in a cable pattern that the row after the cable row says "work sts as they appear to last....etc". What does that mean?
When you’re cabling you’re switching between purl and knit stitches so that you create definition for the cables. ‘Work started as they appear’ means to knit stitches that look like knit stitches and purl stitches that look like they need purling, so the definition is uniform. The other videos in this series explain a bit of this. Is really helpful to tell the difference between knit and purl before you start cabling. Happy knitting 🧶
@@KnitWithHannah Thx Hanna, I finished your pattern. By paying more attention I realised a wild yarn over appeared in my knitting every now and then lol. That is where the extra stitches came from on my 1st try. I just dropped them and carried on this time.
Could you give the written description for this cable plz. I couldn't catch the pattern by watching video . But I can knit by reading the written description. Please help me this .😍😍
