After months of indecision I've finally decided to cover this song. I remember watching the VoicePlay cover of this song years ago and thinking "Wow I want to be able to sing like that.”This feels insanely surreal and like a full circle moment for me and I'm so glad that I got to sing this song with one of my favorite people. Why are the people always just after the high notes? What if I say, I can sing the male part, as low, as it is sung in the original, but as a female. Would be anybody impressed? I guess not. Even if most woman can't do it. I think high notes are beatyful but overrated.

genuine question, how can an alto sing christine so perfectly when she´s ment to be a soprano ? like I´m so shooked bc I adore the role as well but thought it´d be beyond my limits to even try to sing it for fun (im not sure if i´m a mezzo or an alto)
@@angienoexiste within each singer, everyone has their own range beyond the given one. alto is usually meant for slightly lower voices, but many who still fit into this can hit these notes. it just might not be as comfortable as it would be for a soprano.

Words cannot describe how amazing this cover is. I literally spent a good 5 minutes trying to figure out what I should right only for me to have no words to describe the sheer power and harmony of your voices.

Secondly, can we talk about the high notes at the end? Gosh DAYUM. And the way the phantom commands Christine to sing- She has such power in her voice, and it really shows. And THAT LAST NOTE WAS HEAVENLY!
And lastly, can we talk about the artwork? As someone who’s trying to get better at drawing myself, I absolutely love the artwork. Whoever drew it deserves a raise as that literally looked amazing.

Let's start with the fact that this is my favorite piece from musicals, which, moreover, I learned during school. (although English is not my native language).
Also, I usually don't expect anything extraordinary from covers. It very rarely happens that they are at least similar in quality to the original songs, and that's already good.
Even less often someone manages to bring something new.
But you managed to follow the source material exactly, and at the same time bring something new and interesting, as it seemed to me, to this work of art. I would love to watch this version of the musical. 👏👏👏
