I am a self-confessed theatre nut as well as a huge heavy metal fan, so this is just .... stunning. The vocals are other-worldly, but the skill and craft shown in the arrangement is something else. Completely and utterly speechless.

Once again, Tommy 'plays with himself'.... and it's THE GREATEST THING HE'S EVER FREAKING DONE!!!! Seriously, I told him I hadn't been this excited about one of his forthcoming covers in a long time. I've heard literally dozens of bands cover this iconic classic, from Impellitteri to Nightwish, with varied and mixed results. His vocal juxtaposition of the two differing characters, Christine and the phantom, is wonderfully presented. The music is appropriately masterful here. We wouldn't expect ANYTHING less than total excellence from Maestro Johansson, and he knows it. I honestly don't know how he's going to top this one.....but, I'll be here waiting to see the results!!!!

@@ИванСоколов-ц7х Не надо сравнивать разное исполнение. Тарья професиональная оперная певица. У неё консерватория за плечами, она пела в опере. Потом пришла в рок. А у этого исполнителя нет такой школы. Но это не умаляет его вокальные данные.
