Dan, I hesitate to do this publicly, but my generation struggles with even basic technology. Our story goes as follows. There are close to 30 of us that live in remote mountain valleys in western North Carolina USA, that age between 65-96. Approximately every month at full moon we hike up 2,000 ft above our valley floor to reach Ferguson Peak, old Cherokee land. It’s here we drum, most playing West African drums & wait for answering drums from the group on the mountain ridge north. Because of our ages, old creaky joints & Covid some lost motivation to do this, as you would say “ Epic”; undertaking I decided music on the difficult ascent up the mountain might help. This is where you come in! So I thank you for Stairway to Heaven ( gets the 60’s group up the mountain) The Witcher Songs, which nobody knows what the hell that is but it gets 70 yr old rear ends up the trail,and many of your other works that make us rejoice, laugh & enjoy as we ascend. You are young, not yet tethered by old age, but your work inspires a generation that you may have not considered. Believe me when I say, after close to a century on this earth, every day is EPIC. Your work is more valuable than you know......... haha besides even us old ladies think your cute.

Everyone needs music to "whistle" to while they work and Dan is great motivator. He is the best cover guy on RUclips apart from Caleb Hyles, in my opinion. Don't be ashamed of sharing your story; it motivated me! Hopefully stories of kickass seniors like you will inspire the under 30 crowd (like me) to get off our asses and move. We don't wanna be outworked. LOL!

This is the best cover of this song I’ve ever heard. You have a great voice, and the person you collaborated with sounds great too. All in all, this is a Phantom of the Opera cover done right. You definitely would have made Andrew Lloyd Webber proud.

Fun fact: The version with Gerard Butler took longer because not only did Gerard take lessons to actually sing but the actress who played Christine (whose name I can never remember) was actually a trained opera soprano and they wanted that so as to capture the original play to the fullest extent.

Dan Vasc is the Phantom of the Opera. Gerrard Butler was really good and many of us fell in love until HE came along and threw my entire life into a spin. The Phantom is as sinister a character as he is a very romantic one. I don't know why that combination is so enchanting except that Dan manages to embody it to absolute perfection and once again, I am breathless and in awe of the power the gentleman possesses to completely captivate.
Dragica's voice is absolutely lovely. Dan sounds epic as usual, no surprise.
