AeroMexico flight 646, Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner service from Mexico City Int'l Airport (MMMX) to Los Angeles (KLAX). Recorded on the VATSIM network in Microsoft Flight Simulator with ATC included. No checklists were touched during the filming of this video. (The trim tab error was an issue with my sim settings, not the yoke.)

I'm glad my pilot a few weeks ago didn't "power through" a good 3-4 inches of ice and snow covering the plane and instead made us sit an extra hour and a half while getting it removed before take-off.

Recently dove into the real sim experience with batc for now. Finally fluent with IFR flights in the longitude and ATR. So nice to finally understand everything youre doing. That trim cracked me up! Then ATC broadcasting while roasting you in spanish. Love it.

Define "Good Flight Simulator Pilot". ANY flight simulator video is a GOOD flight simulator video. The GREATNESS comes with how well you can roleplay the disasters.

Mexican living under the flightpath of that 788 flight (watch it every now and again at around FL400 as you're getting about an hour away from the US border)...can confirm I got a few stray pieces of your dreamliner's tail. If you want them happy to ship them to you.
While Mexicana did agree to having rocket assistance for their early 727s for takeoffs out of MEX(no, seriously, look it up), I didn't know the modern equivalent was to bitch slap the ground to get airborne. No wonder I flights out of MEX are usually delayed, need constant runway repairs.
On a more serious note the worst landing I've felt(as a passenger) was the only time I was coming from abroad. On an AF744 landing at MEX, I think Monsieur Pilot forgot the lower density air and thus overestimated the ground effect of the queen, so he made damned sure we where on the ground.
The fact he didn't get pounded by mechanics by the end of the day makes it a win for me. xD

I just had a similar situation with 737-900 but I didn't ignore the warning and stopped the aircraft and then corrected trim lol. There's a pretty loud T/O config alarm so it's hard to ignore.
When I fly the 787 which comes with MSFS premium deluxe I have trim problems like that also, sometimes it auto-trims into a ridiculous parameter for no reason at all causing a failed takeoff or a really sketchy landing and unless you keep an eye on the trim constantly it can mess up your entire flight
