I noticed your bandit landed really plush like and the blue one kinda smacked the front down so hard the back came back up. Do you think the weight of the front tires caused it to do that? And did he gain any turning force with wider tires? Could a good shock adjustment help or is it just to much weight
Hey Joe 😎 so I’m using a max8 esc150amp with stock TRAXXAS maxx remote ON 7.4v all day no issues and have even thrown 8.4 on the newer max8 G2 esc threw a stick TRAXXAS receiver with no problems also🤓🤓🤓
i cant see droppin $400 on a beast sevo (i just got a open box 1/5 kraton roller for $375) but i did find a $80 Powerhobby 701MG 1/5 servo 950 oz-in @ 7.4V . its going in my tube chassis 1/5 kraton . it should be plenty to turn the tires ?

Can u imagine 6+ on a track at once, all electric! While it lasted, WE had a blast racing the F1's! It took a special type of racer with exceptional skills!
they have made 1/5 f1 since 2021 for $2k . dont know why someone keeps deleting but for real cut it out !
I wonder if you bought one of the Holmes motors with adjustable timing. Plus you can rebuild them!
one major thing i did was get a motor lathe . out of the box motor suck ! i can triple box stock motors with simple stuff . turn the comm and polish it till its like glass . center the motor with spacers . aline the brush holders and make then square and butter smooth , wieghed springs , cut and drill the brushes , pull the junk bearings out and use ceranic ones , set the timing . then motor break in wich is huge ! i break my motors in a mason jar with water . sounds like a lot but take me about an hour to make a full race motor . totally worth it !!

Last bandit buggy I had was a blast. Can't beat the price (brushed) with a stick! LHS races these 'box stock' & 'modified' (anything goes) on dirt oval & offroad. Just so much 1 can do, cause everything you do on a bandit is an upgrade. (ONLY traxxas I'd buy. Again)
Reason many ppl don't run 2rd 10th scale buggy/truck. It takes skill to be good at 2wd🤷♂️😁
@@old-rcplane-phart why would anyone would even look at a bandit when for the same price you can by a armma typhon mega $230 ? 1/8 buggy vs 1/10 2wd bandit !
@@craigengelman4534 Just bought a Bandit, but I've been running Traxxas 2wd vehicles for a while now. Everything 1/8th scale is more expensive. I'm going to turn it into a decent novice track buggy for my son until he is ready to move up to the faster buggy's/classes. Then it will become a speed run demon for me, then a drag car after that. So many different things you can do with them.
