It’s my all time favorite RC CAR. I added the wide arms and put short course tires on it. Looks and drives awesome. 2s is plenty fast allready.

The Bandit is definitely overlooked, even the brushed model is very fun, The VXL is crazy fast 💯 and as far as the BL2-S in the TRX I really don't use my TRX as a hard core ROCK crawler, I use for more of a Trail truck as I'm pretty sure that's it's intended use and most people do use it as a trail truck...either way both awesome rigs, great video!!! 👍👍

Love the bandit. My first traxxas buggy was the rad2. Predecessor to that was my tamiya hornet. Man I’m old lol

I purchased the basic brushed Bandit and did all the conversions to upgrade it to a brushless system. I can burn off a set of stock Bandit tires in no time. Street tires are too hard and I get terrible control ability on them. I was told I need to soften the material in the tires with something like brake fluid or something. That seems like a great way to destroy them. I just replace the tires when they are completely worn out any more.
I may be wrong but my brushed version came with bushings too but it was a older Bandit so they may have changed that. Either way awesome car and video! Keep up the good work and videos!

I recently upgraded my bandit to the vxl let me clue I added the vinlioeon 3s system wanna talk about what a ripper the lipo I'm using is the hoo vo & this thing rips so fast I went through 3 packs of anacondas also I added a light kit for more realistic detail & yes I get ppl watching me rip it in my apartment complex & ask questions etc & yes I call my bandit to the roadrunner & thanks for sharing mark 🤘

Coño , The Bandits back !! . Its a Buggy , a Dragster & a simpleton delight thats easy to work on. I running 14mm hex with Hoons Silvers in the back. No ballooning , no okky ( sorry) wheely bars. Lipolock 294 g steel bumpy , smash trigger & go. Got a short on my tiny channel lol lol figure i mention it as we get inspiration in the darnest places . TY , for highlighting the lil speedy Bandit .

@@MarkSantaMaria It's stock except for pinion but any Hoons 3s type tires helps big time . Silvers have lasted the longest.
We raced these in 17.5 buggy competitively with the mid motor buggies this entire last summer at LSR speedway in Sacramento and man was it eye opening.
Ive really been wanting this exact car, body and all. I just got home from buying a drag slash insetad because the deal was too good to pass up and i get on my computer and this video is the first thing i see. I guess ill have to get this one too...

I orginally planned on keeping the sound but it was mega windy outside and also there is a lot of back and forth between myself (the driver) and my camera guy to make sure we are on the same page. So you would hear a bunch of wind and 2 guys yelling "Im speeding up! Im going to hook back around... Get lower on the car.....etc" hahaha

I miss my Bandit I had one for a short period of time and I had a friend that wanted to get into RC and he really liked the Bandit so I gave it to him as an entry-level RC car so he could have fun and come back around with us and it ended up sitting in his garage and have never using it and not willing to give it back to me

Question!? What is the prt number for that wheelie bar? The only one I could find for it did not fit right. Any recommendations on where to find one?
I've been lucky enough to get one of these as well! Raced it on my backyard rc track and the insane power broke a driveshaft in 10 minutes 🤦♂️
It is does have crazy power. You have to unscrew the wheelie bar and put it on the stock mount. TRA3678P

A now buy a serpent srx gen3 (full racecar) roller for 239€. Put a beautiful motor combo in it, and put your own transmitter on it. Now you probably think, why did i ever buy a traxxas for 389€...
Maybe something for you to try..? So you can add a nice race car to your collection, test it on a track and for fun, and confirm this car is superior in every way....

I hope I never have to own a Traxxas. I would rather have a Losi, Associated, Tekno, or Arrma. Traxxas has been involved in so many lawsuits sueing other companies for crazy stuff. They even sued HBO for the term "Max" because they thought consumers would be confused between HBO Max and traxxas Maxx....cmon....that is rediculous.
