That fact that you got James Rolfe for this episode makes it all the more hilarious.
And the fact he essentially pokes fun at his own Nerd character is even better. For whatever reason, I like James more when he's not involved with anything Cinemassacre. I guess it's a nice change of pace.

Not only did we get Mike and Rich playing the antagonists, but we got to see some live-action footage right in the heart of the RLM movie collection! What a fun treat!
I was not expecting to discover Lucy from Twin Peaks, the RLM guys, and Matilda all together in a cute cartoon lol what a fascinating find. no clue how there aren't more views with such a star studded cast
The fact that James Rolfe voiced the geek makes the parody so much funnier
RLM and James Rolfe are both in this. That trips me out. Fun stuff!
I really love the Cinema Sins gag at the end.
THat James Rolfe cameo was a real treat! The Creepy GIrl was also incredibly wholesome, Mara really brought the character to life. This was a really great episode. Honestly, this whole series just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
I honestly didn't recognise Rich Evans voice at first. Which is amazing, because he probably has one of the most recognisable voices. Just goes to show how good he actually is as a voice actor.
When I first saw this episode, I was immediately thinking of the Ernest movies after seeing the many misadventures of Billy Bob. I love both this episode and episode 10, it’s nice seeing Mara Wilson back in the spotlight, and to see the antics of one of my favorite animated duos, this even gives me a great appreciation for independent projects. Keep up the good work, Nico.
Man, I always felt like Rich Evans would have the perfect cartoon voice, but shockingly I think Mike does an even better job. Rich Evans is still an angel though.

Every time a new Ollie & Scoops cartoon comes out, I fall in love with how charming the characters and animation are all over again
When I first heard about The creepy girl I figure she'd be hard to ake friends with but turns out she's the kind of person that seeks companionship cut me by surprise
Rich Evans has really odd and unexpected talents. I probably wouldn't have noticed him if I didn't notice Mike in the episode, as he does such a convincing voice.
I don't wanna cuss so I will just say *FREAK YEAAAAAH, NEW EPISODE* and trust you know what "freak" really means. I just showed this show to my wife yesterday, and she asked me if there were more episodes! I'll show her this one tonight! She's gonna be so happy she may freak me!
After binging all 8 of the previous episodes yesterday, I have more appreciation for this episode and "Ollie & Scoops" as a whole. I can't wait for Episode 10! 🤓

Oh my god, I was totally just like the creepy ghoul girl back when I went to video stores! The horror section was the BEST during the VHS era! All those amazing pieces of cover art! Man, this episode takes me back. And of course, I watched all the Ernest movies, too, knowhutImean?
Excellent episode, and well worth the wait! And always great to see the Red Letter Media guys, especially for a nostalgic video rental episode!

Don’t know what you mean by ‘no degeneracy’ it makes you sound like an incel Nazi. Otherwise I agree we get appealing expressive animation with wholesome humor, plus Rich Evans, James Rolfe and Mike Stoklasa (along with some other cameos I’m prob missing)

This episode has me wondering what the time period is in Ollie and Sc;oops. There's a Family Video and Billy Bob is definitely supposed to be Earnest, but the girl behind the counter was watching buzzfeed and there was a bluetuber critiquing everything. It'd be like if the 90s and the 20-teens had a baby timeline. lol
Haha thanks! Yeah, I like to convey the idea that this show could possibly take place in 1992, despite stuff like iPhones and the internet also existing. The timeline of Ollie & Scoops is basically present day 2020s, but if the late 80s / early 90s had a much larger presence.
It's been 3,000 years. Lol.
