Thank you everyone so far for watching and supporting! I've suffered through anxiety my whole life, and wanted to make an episode about dealing with it. When you have anxiety, it can be difficult to handle it, speak up, talk, or share what's on your mind. This can lead to missing out on great opportunities or even to allowing people to walk all over you. I wanted to create a story that mainly tackled with learning to overcome anxiety and to ACT upon the things you want in life. In this case, Miss Bivvins wanting to tell her crush how she feels. Miss B's tummy butterflies are the physical manifestation of her anxiety, and when she crushes that last one at the end of the episode, she's finally conquered it.
Thanks again for watching. Onward to Episode 8, coming next, entitled... "Warm Cream"!
Can’t wait :)
Don't worry. You are not alone.
Hey uh are you going to still do the show too loud from dreamworks kids?
@@kingisaacofimaginationland3664 I can't do any more Too Loud unless Dreamworks asked me to, as they own it.

Ya see? I like this. She has a crush on this other woman and the show portrays that as something completely normal instead of flashing everyone about it and wearing it like a badge of honor.
It's pretty simple, if you want people to treat same-sex relationships as normal, treat it as normal instead of putting this gigantic spotlight over it as if people care.
Thank you for your kind words!
Good point! I didn't even really notice that it was a lesbian relationship cause it was just so natural and cute!

I can now officially say that Ollie and Scoops is my favorite anime.

@@envalence450 the ending is
Wow, a cartoon on the internet where everyone isn't maimed and/or murdered as the final punchline. Just wholesome comedy.
I like it.
* Ollie and scoops were found dead on the island* cause of death : They angered the fourth wall gods
I know right
What? Like Vizziepop's Hazbin Hotel or Helluva Boss?
This is more of like watching a 90s cartoon like the early seasons of the Simpsons or Bob's Burgers kind of tame.
This show was originally made in 2019. So its not like its trying to be Rick and Morty kind of meanspirited. That and this is more tame. :)
467th like
No one gets killed or maimed in Homestar Runner. Except Homsar, but he got better.
I love this cause unlike other shows
They show this as a natural thing
They never say explicitly that it's a lesbian pair
They just make it out to be such a normal thing and I think that is absolutely perfect for cartoons and shows
Yes, Hollywood should hire this team and keep them free to be creative. It is not pandering or stereotyping.
True true
*claps*
Its great how they didn't do the:
*"HEY THIS IS A LESBIAN COUPLE LOOK AT IT LOOK AT IT GIVE US RATING"*
instead they did:
"Hey this girl likes someone..and its great :)"
Natural Diversity always trumps Forced Diversity any day
It felt more natural, if a bit goofy at times but it is a cartoon
The slight alterations in how things were drawn/animated made this feel a little like a reanimation collab
This is an excellent episode! Miss Whippleworth's eyes finally appeared from her glasses in 8:50! I love that scene!
Good "eye"!
I'm not going to lie. Miss Bivvins and Miss Whippleworth bonding over "Dragon Times" and Thai food nearly hit me in the feels. It was too sweet! 🥺
Also, the ending nearly had me dying from laughter. I wasn't expecting that! 😂
2:07 geez, what a transition.
yeah, I noticed that kinda thing often in this episode
that kind of thing is my only major critique of the show. sometimes the animation looks one way and the next moment it changes drastically. i know it’s because it’s a team of multiple animators but it’d help if they went for a unified style or tried staying more on-model to fix that issue
Yes but I kimda undestand by the fact they are out of money
@@MGKiryu I let them get away with it because it's just an internet cartoon and I don't mean that as a jab. Just saying that internet content doesn't have stringent rules like TV content. Also, the money comes from the creator and they have to make do with what they get. Still, I also would like to see a more unified style, but either way, I'm thankful for the content.
@@laobok honestly i agree. for what they’re working with, the animation could be a lot, a LOT worse. it’s far from bad, just inconsistent at times. but i still love the show!
Good episode and all but can we just talk about how *Miss Bivvins' entire apartment was a set* .
Before that question how Catlifornia exist in the show then?
The set apartment is confusing because
1. Somehow Ollie, Scoops and the cats found Miss Bivvins’ apartment and recreated it in set form
2. Either the set apartment was a complete renovation of Miss Bivvins’ actual apartment, or it’s at a different address, to which Miss Bivvins went to instead of her normal address
3. Ollie, Scoops, the cats, and even the _unwitting Miss Whippleworth_ were able to travel to the set apartment within the time that Miss Bivvins left Ollie’s house and arrived at the apartment. Complete with dinner table and food, which weren’t even there a mere second ago.
I thought the whole thing was some sort of imagine spot it was so confusing
Adding the Sailor Moon Ending song to the credits is a nice touch.
I know i used to hear it somewhere thank to remind me that it from Sailor Moon but what about copyright?
This whole episode is basically **gay panic** and I love it
And it's normal and it's not like "OMG!!! LESBIANS!?!? HERE HAVE MY MONEY!!!!"
@@flamersshowsandmore3864 that's pretty much today...
I love the design of miss Bivvins, i'm glad she got an episode 🥺
As much as I love this show, I'm kind of terrified of Ollie's reality bending powers. I'd be real surprised if Miss Bivvins doesn't at least have some mental trauma from this.
I love this with every fiber of my being. As someone with anxiety I relate to Miss B a lot. Thank you for this.
Thank you so much for watching!
That a large change to her previous charactetrization
I thought I was the only one who noticed. Really don’t mind, but damn there’s a stark difference
Do you mean in episode 2 when she had a different voice, or in episode 5?
I agree. Bivvins is a completely different character in this episode.
Always love me some Ed, Edd n Eddy sound effects.
Also, the Japanese end credits are a nice surprise.

The teacher is absolutely adorable in this episode! Love her expressions. 💝✨😍
This was a really sweet episode. I was genuinely invested in Miss Bivins happiness.
The cross eyed "it doesn't matter scoops" got me right at the end, really cute episode btw
Never clicked so fast! Ok so some fans were right, bivins is a les. Good for her.
Same here dude. So hyped 😆
I’ve been waiting for this for so long
Well to be fair who did not see that coming
@@GagsAnimation Unless you're really into fandoms I dont think anyone because with only 6 eps prior to this there was no real background on secondary characters.
@@berniekatzroy all i did was look at the two character designs together posted in the community tab, and I knew right away they were going to be a lesbian couple. It was so obvious and Nico has alluded to this kind of behavior in other projects like Too Loud.
Skinny stimpys are everywhere in this animation makes me happy
Cute and goofy stuff all the way in this episode. I love the potential couple and the new teacher. She seems to be just as cute as Bivins when she's not cold
Loved the episode, but the variations in animation styles made it a little hard to watch. I totally understand that there are many different animators working on this project, but I think the series would benefit in consistency with the style! Still a great episode tho!
I agree, it was most noticeable in this than any other episode. Still good the animators have freedom.
i agree but i honestly didn't notice it until the very end when they traveled to the island

i actually found this through instagram ✨
@@shykunoichi94 no seriously what do you mean
Lmao not Lgtbq but I still like it?
I've been loving this series since Day 1 and this is the first time I've felt mixed on an episode. NOT TO SOUND CYNICAL, just, I feel I should at least share why. What it does right it does GREAT, it's heartwarming and funny when it needs to be, yet two things seem a little off.
First, Kelsey Abbot is a great voice actor but hearing the delivery of Ms. Bivvins' lines seems less shy and sweet and more "standard quirky but relatable anxious character". Seeing her design of the character mixed with her lines just seems a bit disjointed with her overall more perky/expressive vocal delivery, which is a shame cuz again, Kelsey Abbot is talented.
Secondly, while the Droopy references are funny I gotta wonder if Ollie went a liiittle too far? This is really the first time Ollie ever went out of her way for someone else as the central point of an episode, so it's probably a norm for further examples of her wanting to help. As is now though I keep cringing at the points where Ms. Bivvims is pushed out of her comfort zone against her will because I feel for her situation.
As is it's not a BAD episode but definitley one that makes me feel a little uncertain, which shows that the team is willing to take risks! So thank you Nico for striving to create an interesting cartoon! As usual I'm excited for the next episode. =>
Thank you for saying exactly how i felt
She's a kid, she doesn't know any better
@@becuaseimbored3481 And I'd argue that's a valid conclusion. It's just with such an over the top example of her not understanding acceptable boundaries in a show where she had to learn a moral in a previous episode, it feels just a bit off without her admitting fault or facing consequences ala something like The Loud House. But with how many episodes there have been so far, maybe its just a matter of seeing more Ollie-centric eps in the future to get a feel for how reasonable it is.
@@TECH097 I'd argue that Ollie DOES face a consequence. This ends with her stranded on a desert island. ;)
Thank you for your thoughtful words! As someone who also suffers from anxiety, I wrote this episode with ME as Miss Bivvins, pretty much. Sure, Ollie might've pushed Miss B a bit too far, but she's a kid and doesn't know any better, and without it this episode would have a lot less of the fun comedy bits to balance the story out. But despite being pushed into doing it, I think it's good that Miss B conquers her anxiety at the end, so she can live a more fulfilling life now, something I've learned and applied to myself over the years. You gotta push yourself a little sometimes to get to that point you want to be at.

Great episode! My only nitpick I have is that the change between animators were VERY noticeable, just like in Hazbin Hotel. I feel like this is a very common issue in big animation projects nowadays

aww thats adorable!

Yes
Never questions anime’s
@Sean Sohr I had this windy, backside animation of O&S from a previous shot, thought it'd be funny to use it to ape a typical anime ending credits look, so I did it, haha. It doesn't really belong, no, but I still feel it's fun.
@@NicoAnimation Fitting? No. A worthwhile outro? Yes.
It's a sailor moon outro. Brought back memories lol

Idk y I keep watching this episode but I'm not stopping
I love this animation. So fluid and funny.
i like this show !
Finally, some more lesbians.
After SU ended I thought I’d never see something like this again. Thank you Nico!
There's been plenty of shows with lesbians lately: She-Ra, Owl House, and Craig of the Creek to name a few.
There’s just not enough lesbians to fill the void in my aching heart that only Steven Universe can fill..... But that isn’t to say that She-Ra and Owl House aren’t pretty good shows too.
I'd like to see some m/m couples too. It's great and all but the only homosexual I keep seeing are of women. It seems like it's more controversial to see two gay men than two gay women considering how one is less represented than the other (in cartoons at least).
@@laobok that's no secret, wlw intentionally upstages mlm. Because with females is easy but lazy. Each series you know does that because they're playing safe. They don't care for rep, they care for brownie points.
Y’know, as long as it’s a good show. And they don’t force it, it’s all good
this video had me smiling all the way through
that was absolutly fantastic
Now THIS is how you write it. Instead of making a *gay* character they made a gay *character* but it is very weird of the huge character change from the recent picture episode. This a completely different personality and voice. Might as well be a different character.
Wish this show got as much recognition as Hazbin Hotel does.
I have to say, I love seeing all the background details. The posters, the "wine for one" label. It adds and extra layer of funny to an already great show!
