Love my new 2022 Seadoo but yes i agree they do not track straight like the FXHO did but so much softer landing in the chop. Good for old fellas like me with a crook back!! Cheers for the vid Glen
Yeah the ST3 hull is definately much more comparable to a boat for comfort. One thing I do miss is having the large footwells that you can just chuck a large fish in and not worry about them jumping out
Picked up my second GTX after selling my first watercraft, the 2018... I hear about how other skis handle the chop better but I have nothing to compare it to. I’d love to have a chance to experience another one some day... although I’m quite sure this will be my last ski. ‘Crook back’ here as well... In fact, I had major back surgery right before purchasing my last GTX... bloody hell that was painful but I didn’t let foolishness stand in the way... I had to take it out. 🤷♂️😏 Great to see this fish finder mount setup on this ski... I’ll be ordering one soon.🇺🇸 And I agree on the seat... it’s gotta go. Black... 👍 And although it looks nice it has the feel of plastic unlike the 2018 GTX. Tossing this out there as well... I’ve heard of problems with the fuel pump on these. Time will tell... I still like the ski/brand. 👍
@@sea2sea2seevanlife92 All fair comments mate. Regarding handling the chop better I think many people get confused in regards to what this actually means. If you are talking about "handling the chop" from a comfort point of view, then the Seadoo is better. But if you are talking about "handling the chop" from a steering control or tracking/handling point of view, then the Yamaha is better.
@@GCJetskiFishing I hear Kawasaki does well as well in cutting through that chop... I really like their new lineup this year but chose to go with what I was familiar with and that was the only reason. If I had both Yamaha and Kawasaki in front of me to look at, sit on, I may have opted for one of these but with demand high and supply lower than in the past, I had to make a decision so I chose familiarity. It’s difficult to make such a purchase sight unseen... It was great to see the fish finder mount you’re now selling for that ski... I like your work and always enjoy your videos. I’m ordering the catch can, second battery, a few other odds and ends and new black seat cover from Riva Racing tomorrow. I’ll also be ordering from Sea Doo the deck extension like what is standard on the Fish Pro. I look forward to seeing what else you create for that ski... 👍 All the best! Steve.
@@GCJetskiFishing did you have any. My units locked in for march to April. I’m in PA so I think everything should go well. Looks like they’re beginning to arrive as I’m seeing videos pop now.
Our dealers here got floor models with no computer and no display or mirrors. Just to have one to show or sell lol. I said get me one in a crate as I always would. I wouldn’t want everyone and their brother scratching my beautiful ski…..
I’ll let you know as soon as she comes in. I’m gonna install a few parts on it from Riva. And the x module and some other stuff. Keep you updated. You have IG I’ll send you some photos videos when she’s rolling.
I owned a GTX and to solve the tracking straight issue, just get RIVA Pro sponsons. The rear no longer skid around when hit by waves. I have another Yamaha buddy who change to GTX 300 limited straightaway after trying out my GTX. He mention riding Yamaha on open water will break his back after trying out GTX ST3 hull.
I think that is a great idea for the tow/anchor line that is attached to the front tow hook and then looped around the mirror, Can you tell me where I could purchase that? Thanks great video!

LOVE the colors
It is a great looking ski
Nice i ordered the 22 gtr can’t wait.
Great choice mate. Hopefully supply issues don't cause too much of a delay for you

Great video. Thank you. Just ordered mine for May delivery. 😁
Thanks for watching Marc! I bet you're looking forward to it
How you order ?
Well thought out ski, good work!
Thanks mate
Black on the seat would be hot in the sun. Nice ski, currently unavailable in the states. Nice mods you installed, well done.
Good point about the black seats, anything black gets too hot to touch in hot sun. Thanks for watching
I agree. I have a Kawa that has a black seat and have had a few people that jumped up like a spider bit them in the butt when sitting on it.
well done, congratulations great boat 😉

Hi there, these are available at www.gcjetskifishing.com, they are called a front accessory mount for Seadoo
@@GCJetskiFishing thanks!
@@jeffkashat no problem buddy thanks for watching
anyone know how much they go for? i preorder one ,dealer refused to give price and now asking for 25k out the door, i think it's way too much
What country are you in? Here in New Zealand these skis atleast 35k plus a trailer
US is 18,299 no trailer, fees, or taxes
I want to order that mount in the front. How can I?
You can find the front accessory mount on www.gcjetskifishing.com
Where do you charge it?
Around the back, in the bung hole
Is this your new Jetski?
No, this is a customers ski. I installed the new fish finder and water tested the setup to make sure it was performing well
Looks awesome bro, invite me out before I get mine 🤙🏾 Haha Bless
Thanks for watching mate!
Are you too busy to fish these days?
I have been really busy getting my business off the ground but I was out fishing last week, video to come soon :)
I was just about to ask when's the next video coming out! It's been ages!

Sea doo sponsons are.... meh... if you want any kind of tracking, your going to need to upgrade.
That definately sounds like the general concencus!
