    The Levert Fitness Equalizer XL are one of my favorite pieces of home fitness equipment after 2 years of training with them. I am amazed at how well these have lasted for those 2 years and here is my review of the product from training with them each and every week. Make sure you see my full list of current home equipment over at gamerbody.com/equipment/

    Dude after I saw your last review I bought the same one as yours and I have made amazing strength gains and I have made alot of progress especially during this whole covid thing, my coworkers were like bro you got really musclar lol I felt sooo good hearing that and calisthenics has really helped me out and mostly thanks to the equalizer bars, I gave away my workout bemchs and my dumbbells, I don't need them anymore. Thank you for making these awesome reviews cause it really has helped me to make a good choice in buying something.

      Benches and dumbbells are extremely versatile for upper and lower body. You can't do everything with a dip bar. Happy for you but....yikes on giving those away!

      @@Mike-hw5jp hi Mike, it's ok , trust me I don't regret giving up my bench and weights, the bench was fun, it even had a preacher curl too, but so far since I bought those bars I have made a lot of progress, I'm very creative when it comes to calisthenics and I can squeeze out about 10 different things I can do with it, really its just about being creative with your surroundings, I've seen videos of people doing things with them I can not possibly do at this moment, but overall for bodyweight training and toning up, I can truly say they have helped a lot

    I was comparing this to the Ultimate Body Press Dip Station and I think these have won out for how compact they are and the 2 year+ of use! I recently quit my gym membership and have a few of the old twist on/twist off dumbbells (not convenient but hey they work), resistance bands, the Step, and the Instar bar (thanks for the recommendation), but I definitely have been in need of something for those body-weight movements other than pushups and squats. Definitely putting some Christmas money from the grandparents towards these despite being a little more pricey!

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  Год назад +1

      I agree. I had the older version of the Ultimate Body Press Dip Station and it was fine, but the Lebert Fitness Equalizers are much better for storing and feel more "premium". The Ultimate may have updated since then, but I have enjoyed the Lebert a lot over the years.

    I am thinking about getting my equalizers this holiday season, they are on sale now in Amazon. I’m also about 5’10, 5’11, I have never done this before, and feel a bit intimidating and afraid that it may be just collecting dust after I buy it.
    I am still debating whether I should just get the equalizer set or just the Lebert push up bar set (the short equalizer bars). What is your suggestion? Equalizers or push up bars? If I do get the equalizers, you would still recommend the XL (black one) over the other colors in regular size (yellow, pink, white, green, there is another black version that is in regular size also)?

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  11 месяцев назад

      If you decide to get it, get the XL for your height. You will still need to bend your knees, but it will work just fine from there. As for getting them and using them, that will come down to you having a plan in place first, then being consistent. If you don't think you will be consistent, build up a routine/program where you can be before getting them and adding it in.

    Any plan to upgrade to powerblock or ironmaster dumbbells in the near future. I know you have said that you’ve outgrown the 50 lb limit with your current setup. Think the change would work out great for you.

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  4 года назад +1

      Not currently. The only major one I have an issue with right now is the deadlift. I had powerblocks in the past and while they are fine, I don't like the bulkiness of them. I am reviewing the Iron Masters though. Core did call me before the virus saying they are making a heavier version so I may wait until then. For now, I will work with my current dumbbells.
      For exercises such as bench press, I am going to switch to weighted push-ups instead and use the plates as extra weights. This may also have more carryover into standard everyday activities (not that I fall down a lot)

    thanks for your video review!

    • @GamerBody
      @GamerBody  4 года назад +1

      That one isn't as stable (can't do one side at a time) and it is not as easy to store. It does collapse but you have to take it apart by pushing I'm the connectors and then turning the pieces to fold together. The Levers Equalizers can be stacked a lot better in a closet or the side of a wall. They are also more stable.

      Only reason would be for inverted rows. This is because as the bars get higher off the ground, inverted rows get easier. Other than that, it really won't matter. Maybe stability of the bars themselves? Can't think of anything else though.
