Turning 50 and looking to get into calisthenics and after watching this have just ordered some dip bars. I'll be looking to learn a lot from your channel. Thank you.
MTG is my hero! I started working out back in 11/2020 (zero ability to pull ups) and non existent grip strength. Now 5/2021, I can do 36 pull ups (with breaks of course) 😎. Thanks Minus The Gym!
Anyone? Really? Is that supposed to be sarcastic? As soon as the arms are done everything's done. I'm pretty much as fit as the people falling into the pit in "This is the end". If I had to pull myself up from the edge of a Cliff I'd be done for. Gerrrrooonimoooooooo!!! *Splat!*
I can do the l sit but can’t get leg extended straight,I’m comfortable getting there ,do I need to stretch or something to loosen my legs ,could u doa video on stretches I can do
I've been using Convict Conditioning and saw your review...and then your other videos. Aaaand I'm subscribed. Really, really helpful man! Thanks for all the content
Nice! I hope you like the exercises. I was going to include some banded exercises in the video too but didn’t want to add more equipment into the mix. That’s great you have assistance bands though. Definitely use them 👍
Lol yeah, I love that song. Reminds me of Daft Punk a bit. It’s called “Lonely Earth (Instrumental)” by Icarus. It’s from artlist.io which is a site for creators to get royalty free music for their videos.
I’m using the B-Bars by BaseBlocks (original, not pro) in this video, and those are still my parallel bars currently. If you’re interested, this link will save you 10% OFF at checkout on any originals at their store: baseblocks.fit/?minusthegym
Hi, bought the b-bars using your code. Would you consider also incorporating gymnastic rings with these bars? Would be interesting to see what you do with them!
I added dips to my workout as well as pike push-ups, with my feet on the box, hands on the floor. Not a lot of them: 3-5 reps. Now I can't even do usual push-ups with full range of motion because my shoulder starts to hurt.
From what I remember, they were not from easiest to hardest but more based on movement category. Start with support holds (above the bar) and hangs (beneath the bar) and then gradually start working up to negatives and then full reps. It will take a lot of time and persistence, but that’s part of the fun and how you get your money’s worth :)
It would be a bit harder to pull off some of these on rings. I use them on a beginner to intermediate level. I recommend starting off on parallel bars. Awesome video and thanks!
I always see steroid guys doing amazing, unrealistic things. But this guy looks natural, hardworking and believable which is what the common people needs to see. Thank you.
A different timeline where Jhonny Sins has a "different" and better lifestyle. Btw just wanted to say, really good video. Keep making such great videos :)
Maybe what you need to start with is more beginner workout. Love your channel, but I cannot do most of these. Got my bars yesterday because of your channel.

Even better if you have parallel bars + rings...
You can do body rows and deep push ups hanging the rings on the bars (with elevated feet)
Great video, what bars are those? And would you mind sharing a link for them? Thankd
Is there any difference between dip bars and these parallel bars? Trying to see which one to buy to start working out
Now I need parallel bars , I thought of doing this say , 20 years ago , now to make-it happen .
Where did you get the '70s cop show funk music? Awesome!
Lol yeah, I love that song. Reminds me of Daft Punk a bit. It’s called “Lonely Earth (Instrumental)” by Icarus. It’s from artlist.io which is a site for creators to get royalty free music for their videos.

I guess not every workout is designed for everyone, at least in my case doing dips.
How can i get this bar? Worldwide shipping?
Hey man, where do I find this parallel bar you’re using? Also what’s the height & length of yours thanks!

Added to the list. Thanks!
Fantastic
Great video!
they put these bars in the park where i go every day, thanks for the video
Great vid as usual 👍
Can i use this double bar instead of pull up and chin up bar? Would it be as effective?
Yes. The B-Bars can be used for pull ups and chin ups, you just need to do them in an L-sit fashion.
Thank you for appreciating audience
Hey brother do you think I can break my neck in a handstand I’ve been very fearful of it
gardens looking good
Thanks!
Ok dude, whats the name of that song you play throughout the video? Btw killer vids and awesome progressions have been made, thanks for all the help.
Thanks! And it’s called “Lonely Earth (Instrumental)” by Icarus. Totally reminds me of Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories album.
Hi thanks for the video. Are these exercises in order of difficulty from easiest to hardest or are they random? Thanks
From what I remember, they were not from easiest to hardest but more based on movement category. Are those things safe? They look ready to topple over when only using one side.
Yeah, they’re very safe. Especially when you use them on level ground, which my yard is not 😁
