    I've had my eye on a Ulike for a while and was ready to place an order when I saw on a reddit post that someone mentioned liking Monsia better. Went to their website to see what they were all about and was very surprised to see the exact same before and after photos I was seeing on the Ulike Air 3. I understand that companies will use stock images but when it comes to items where they are trying to show a timeline I find this really makes me think twice about ordering from either company. I find Ulike really blew up on social media a little while back and when you look at the reviews on their website there's no shortage of people sharing photos of their experience. I would be much more likely to purchase this device if I just saw them using review photos so I know they are results from that actual device. Stock images could be the result of a professional hair removal process.

      I cracked and bought the Ulike air 3 back in December. I’m just a regular consumer, no brand attachment what’s so ever. I have very thick and fast growing Latino hair to the point where I’d be prickly the next day and I’d have to shave every two or three days. Now I shave every 2 weeks and by week 1 1/2 I just start getting a tiny bit prickly. I LOVE IT.
      Just be aware that this isn’t a permanent hair removal solution. And it’s also a big commitment in the beginning if I’m being honest. The first month you’re doing the treatment 3 times a week with was a real bitch on my late work nights. Then 2 times every week for about 2 to 3 months. Then once every month. Personally I shave and laser every 2 weeks but that’s just the routine I’ve put into my Sunday task. So you have to determine if you personally will be consistent with it. I think it’s worth it after seeing my results. My hairs a lot less coarse and thick and it grows in so much slower than I expected. I hope this helps :)

      @@SpookyFrijoles Thank you so much for the honest review! I struggled to find a video that didn't have an affiliate link in it and makes it hard to know if the person is being honest.

    7:40 for the underarm, would you recommend the SHE mode? So you turn up the intensity or turn down the intensity for this area?

  • @cyri2
    @cyri2 3 месяца назад +8

    I recently got the unit and although it is painless and does a double pulse when used in high mode and is fairly fast between flashes, what is disappointing about the unit is HSR mode. What it not mentioned on the Ulike website is that in HSR model the unit is unable to do auto flash and HSR mode can only be used for less than 10 minutes before the unit overheats and turns off. I got this unit for this feature to treat stubborn hair such as male back hair whereby it takes more than 10 minutes to treat a full back. For such a high-priced item, you would have thought that these issues would have been addressed before the unit was released on the market.
    I have since seen other reviews stating the same issue, thus this unit clearly has a design fault.

    I just got the air10 today. I’m surprised that the window LITERALLY gets cold like ice. But I have to be honest, Normal to SHR mode is not completely painless despite the cooling technology compared to in-salon IPL treatment. It’s still worth the convenience and privacy though.
    I’m not sure if this was mentioned in the video, but SHR mode is basically a mode higher than the High mode, and auto glide can’t be used while on this mode. It’s recommended on thicker hairs like the underarm.

      @@lesliepresinal4803 The SHR mode flashes three times, and the third flash feels like being snapped with a rubber band. I’m used to doing IPL on my upper lip so I can tolerate it. It still hurts in some areas like the bikini despite being used to it; I can only go High on sensitive areas. I find that it hurts more when I’m not freshly shaven. Probably the hair heating up.

The belly and chest hair are gone. Back hair gone. Above it nearly fully gone. Grows super slow. Love the Ulike 10!❤

    Can anyone find an actual review by someone not sponsored? This is just really getting out of hand. There's literally no truth out there about these.
    This is clearly sponsored garbage like all the rest of them. How do you people live with yourself knowing you're just free advertising billboards for companies that don't care about you at all.
    Go get a real job and stop avoiding work.

      So I can't speak to the 10, I haven't bought it yet, but I do own the 3 and use it whenever I remember to. Before that I had the Tria and the Tria was simply not worthwhile, it DID work but took ages to make progress especially on larger surface areas. The 3 was a big upgrade for me, but I haven't tried a lot of the other brands out there to truly compare better. That being said, the 3 thins out regions of hair much faster than the Tria did, and the cooling works great to where almost nowhere on my body feels *any* pain no matter where I'm at on my cycle (which does affect pain tolerance)! It's pretty fast to use every time and extends the time I can go between shaving before I get to "actually hairless" for any section of my body. As long as I keep up with it every so often after a region is bare, it stays away. If I stop using it for 6+ months the hair grows back eventually, unsure how common that is but I'm also hairy and have hormonal balance issues 😅 while I've been slacking on my arms/legs, that's my own laziness and overall the 3 has been worth it for me! I'm very curious to try the 10 but wanted to wait for actual reviews to come out first too

    • @coryturke7336
      @coryturke7336 2 месяца назад +1

      @alyssaghalambor4212 so when you stop using it, all the hair comes back? Or only if you stop using it until the area goes completely bare?

    • @alyssaghalambor4212
      @alyssaghalambor4212 2 месяца назад

      @coryturke7336 I've heard it varies person to person, I'm middle eastern and have lots of dark body hair naturally haha I also likely have a thyroid issue and that can cause hormonal fluctuations to stimulate *lots* of hair growth at times.. So for me if I stop using it at all for 6mo-ish, the hair will grow back in the way it used to be. If I start using the device again after that, it starts to lessen and lessen until it's gone again over a month or two of consistent use if I really want the hair gone :) for me, it's something I expect to have to upkeep but I think if I was able to remember to do it monthly once the hairs are all gone, they'd stay away! It's a worthwhile trade imo, without using the device I feel the need to shave every 2-3 days, using the device even before the hairs are gone I'm able to go a week comfortably without shaving

    • @PreMal2023
      @PreMal2023 Месяц назад +2

      Just because it is sponsored doesn't mean it is bad. IPL and lasers are permanent hair REDUCTION device NOT permanent hair removal. You will have to use it frequently initially then once a month then once every few months then once a year. The hair that comes out is very tiny and takes a long time to grow after a while. Your consistency matters here. If you stop it you will be hairless for a while but it may come back if not maintained. The hair that comes back are nowhere thick and long as they used to be but are small sparse tiny hairs that can pop up if you don't maintain your regular sessions.

    Girl just say you're sponsored by Ulike and go 💀 no shade but you would have found that the Braun does include UV protection if you did more research. Yeah it may be slower, but I went with Braun because Braun is an established company that I'll probably be able to get some money out of if there ends up being some class-action lawsuit over these (hopefully not though). Also I have a fairly high pain tolerance so don't need a fancy cooling system.
