Hello, where did you get the cushion?, I need the passenger side and ebay is not selling that seat... can you help me with the brando of yours? I just watch those instructions shows both sides.
It's not sure what bolt you're talking about.. I've had the seats out of that truck at least half a dozen times I don't remember any issues doing that.
@@Broncocarl92 right below the power seat buttons there’s a bolt that holds the bottom seat to the frame on each side right above that rod that the seats rotates on , you can get a wrench on but you can’t turn it , wondering if there’s a trick to taking that bolt off. Obviously you took out the 4 bolts that holds the cushion to the frame , the rear 2 bolts are easy but the front 2 are impossible
If it's a power seat, raise it to it's highest setting before removing the seat from the truck. I tried getting those bolts before doing this, and it was a real pain. After raising the seat, it's very easy (there's even enough room for a socket).
Wish you would have explained the details of what you were doing. Couldn't see close up of where and how you were tucking it in! But thanks for showing the concept, I appreciate your videos!
you can switch drivers side and passenger side seat bottoms in less than 15 min. ,4 -10mm. nuts on each seat , worn areas in tucked away near console , ,only on 94-2001 , why they changed installs in later years is mind blogging . I guess it was too easy to the avg. person.
Great job...I have a 98 dodge sport, regular cab cloth seats. Just purchased the replacement cushion. Is it possible to just remove just the seat portion instead of the seat back as well in order to replace the cushion? Thanks!
I might be wrong, I'll have to look at my truck tomorrow, but I'm thinking that you mounted the adjusting handle upside down. seat turned out great though. nice job!
I have a giant bag of them that I got with the seat covers.. To the best of my knowledge there is only one size, otherwise they would make different size pliers as well. Does that make sense?
These are nicer seats then what i have had for 2 reasons - your seat doesn't have the seat belt in the seat (mine are built into the backrest of the seat) AND you don't have that stupid plastic piece right there where the power seat control and adjustment lever are on the seat bottom. I have had a 98 that was that way and i currently have a 1999 and a 2001 and they both have that set-up. I cn't change it because there is nowhere to then bolt the seat belt. Nice job and it looks really good.
The difference in the cushion is amazing.. took me several weeks to get accustomed to a proper seating position. Thanks for watching and Happy New Year!
Where did you order the seat cover replacement?

Thanks for the info, now I know what's going to be like replacing mine.
How’d you replace the top? I need to rebuild my seat, and the top (back support) is what’s hindering my progress. Thank you.
Cool

Is the seat warmer stock or after market?
I just seen them last week on Geno's when I ordered parts.

Just a suggestion, but changing the title to 94-97 Ram seats.... would make it easier to find and more accurate as well. The 98+ seats are different.
Nothing worse than a broke down seat cushion for sure
Velvethamma it's amazing the difference of two inches of seat cushion... I feel like I'm sitting on top of this truck now LOL.
You made it look easy!
Rick Anderson I had the seat apart a couple times in the past.
