Got a couple questions for you: If you had to do it again would you drill a hole in the slide rail to get at that rear mounting nut and not add the spacer for a lower height? Where did you look for used 4th gen seats? Was it an ebay thing or a scrap yard? Thinking about doing something similar to my 95, at 351k the seats are a little beat up. I could also just get new foam and fabric for the drivers seat for probably less money.
When I do it again I would not do the spacer. It’s not terrible, but it is noticeably higher. I paid 600$ for the entire front and rear set of these from the junkyard

Take the time to mask off for paint but weld up
And burn the seats and carpet
Carpets junk anyways. It’s on the list for replacement this year for black carpet
