I know looks are subjective, but to my eyes, this bike is absolutely stunning. I'd have one in a heartbeat.

Can’t wait for the comparisons with other bikes. Rocket 3, Suzuki m109r, vmax, Harley breakout 117 and fatbob, Indian scout.

I had to sell my 114 Breakout 2020 and got a Diavel definitely prefer handling of Diavel. Like to see the 2 compared over Standing quarter got a sneaking suspicion Breakout would get jump on Diavel up to 3 gear then get smoked by diavel thereafter. Weight being main advantage for Diavel.

No comparison. I’m not sure how you can compare them. This bike will destroy those in handling , cruising, cornering as well sheer power and speed. And now with the service timeframe changing so drastically you can ride this bad boy 18k prior to any service cost. Really an impressive bike.

I disagree I think this is a much better looking bike then the last generation Ducati. And the V4 engine is better than the twin.

I currently have a red 1260s which I'm trading in for the red v4. The main reason is the weight saving and secondly the fact that the v4 is a better bike. I love my 1260s, I found the Ohlins suspension to be fine but to be honest, I can't tell the difference between Ohlins and the standard suspension so having black forks is a bonus for me and I won't be hanging on for the S version.

That 1260 V engine is much more off a character than the V4. Yes its a better bike but a more bland personality.

@@srtspeedy4983 So far I've found the V4 to be slightly more fun than the 1260s due to the maneuverability.

I have a deposit on one. Was hoping I didn’t want to have to upgrade exhaust on it. I’m thinking I will want to but don’t think I will want to be spending the $ on the Akro one. $11k down here. A lot of coin just for a better sound (and a few extra ponies). Might be changing my mind and going with a 23 Streetfighter. Different bike I know, cheaper and don’t really need to touch exhaust. 1st world problems eh.

I had a 1260S Diavel and found the suspension so harsh that it wasn't enjoyable to ride, but it had the Ohlins and, to me, was too stiff. It made my vision unclear on rough roads. I also had a 2014 Diavel Strada, which was excellent and very compliant. How did you find the suspension n the V4? Was it compliant, a little softer, or just like the Diavel 1260S and hard? Thank you!!! Great work, as always!

Any suggestions that there will be a Xdriavel in V4 setup in the future?

True I Albany’s liked xdiavel more than the diavel they just need to increase passenger seat

great program, very informative. I have a test ride in a couple of weeks and seriously considering buying one. I had considered the Akro exhaust as well but as they are not legal on the UK roads, its a bit of a risk for the money. Any idea if the existing baffles can be taken out of the rocket launchers to give it a bit more sound instead?

On the question of what is the value prop ? Multistrada is a Platypus , boring as f()?!!! As for streetfighter you want to get off after 1 hour max. This one however is to me and has always been the sweet spot I. Ducati line. Whether V2 or this.

I’ll keep my old XDiavel, already wicked quick. Better looking, less complicated, no cylinder deactivation (why would any biker want this, Ducati?), negligible power advantage, and a slimmer motor between your legs. Busy, junky design.
