I'm a lifelong Metallica, Pantera, Fear Factory, Slayer fan and myself the founding guitarist songwriter and co vocalist of Man Made Man for 12 years...but I went to a Papa Roach show, with Shinedown in Rockford IL s Metro Cente and Papa Roach was over the top and Jakoby was hands probably the best front man I've ever seen...his control of crowd was insane, and I realized 90% of the songs I loved were Papa Roach songs
Yeah you're just a loser. You just lost your Pantera and slayer card. And the the first 4 Metallica albums. So the black album -papa roach all you baby. Soo woo
I remember being at an Papa Roach concert and was blown away! like the energy from start to finish was 11/10! People tend to be like, "oh papa roach, yeah i don't really like them". but I bet if they went to one of their concerts they would instantly change their minds!
A deformed pig Jacoby made faces in all of the pics we took with him jerry I think is was made a funny face when a took a pic with my older brother but my brother didn’t take the pic in time to get his face
I love the fact about the Last Resort video. "So was it a message about mental health and internal struggle?" "Nah, it was about going to a rock show with your friends'
lovehatetragedy was a masterpiece. That album was a big part of my youth, as well as many "nu-metal" bands taking a more mature approach with their sophomore albums like Disturbed, Taproot, Linkin Park, etc. Cool interview. The host isn't bad at all, you guys are all mean. He is his own character, and I couldn't imagine the series without him.
I've seen over 50 live shows ranging from Tool to AIC to system, and I tell you this Papa Roach is in the top 3 best performances I have ever seen do yourself a favor and go see this band live!
I said this like a broken record 🪳 I’ve seen them live about 25 times… one year they came through Canada and made 5 stops in one province alone!! I of course went to all 5 of those shows… and these men put on a SHOW in each one. 🖤🔥
I love this series of vlogs. Its always interesting to see bands and musicians putting the record straight about their lives. Along with getting some in depth trivia about what led them to where they are now (especially loved the ones with Ice-T, and Corey Taylor). Please keep them coming. I'd love to see Serj Tankian, or Tobias from Nightwish as both bands have had a long road of controversy and internal strife.
I love Papa Roach but I can't stand "Scars" I just don't like how feel of that song. Not even in my top 10 favorite songs. 1. Life is a Bullet-My Life Song 2. Between Angels and Insects-why I am the way I am. 3. Walking Through Barbed Wire-Dealing with my Mom's death and the 2nd verse is exactly what I would tell her if I could. 4. Blood Brothers-tribute song to my blood brothers who have all saved me from myself and from others. I'd be dead now if it wasn't for my brothers. 5. Take Me-I nearly died in a car crash listening to this song. Just about wanting to be accepted for who I was or who I am. 6. Broken Home-Dealing with the anger of living in a broken home with no parents. 7. Depression Period-Dealing with depression 8. Black Clouds-Haunted by my past. Happens when I see one of my exes or if someone mentioned knowing my mom when she was still alive. My Dad said I turned ghost white when the judge dismissed my ticket cause the judge knew my Mom even though I no longer did. 9. Burn-Fuck you to a former friend who backstabbed me and all my friends and family. 10. Where did the Angels Go?- Dealing with how cold this world's become.
Met these guys :-). At their Q&A someone asked how they have managed to stay together so long... they said they think it's because the genuinely like each other lol. they are family
Way back these guys and many others on this channel inspired me to pick up guitar, it's always been a struggle but even tho I'm older now and my back hurts just watching one of these clips makes me want to go practice
Gruhamed: It says here that your new album is scheduled for a 2015 release... Lars: Fiction. It'll probably end up taking us at least ten more years to complete it.
Well I was right about the album not being released this year, now they're saying it'll be 2016 or 2017, but this is Metallica we're talking about, it could indeed end up being another 10 years!
They get a lot of undeserved hate. Infest was a pretty good album for that time. The band changed and I didn't like the direction they went. Still, if they are staying relevant even if I don't like them they are surviving.
they went more as straight alt metal band in 2004 to 2015 FEAR. they also had few alt rock songs on each album and also some nu metal influence to me thats the best papa roach era 2005-2015
Addicted To Chaos Infest minus Last Resort (over played to death) and Love Hate Tragedy (with bonus tracks, which are sick) get played often. Thethird album I missed and avoided them after that shit Mountain Dew they got wrapped up in. Now...
@Insert Clever Username He gets to be the interviewer because he IS loudwire, he started this channel/company and did by himself for a really long time. And the comment about the beard is kinda odd, don't be hatin on splotchy beards bro that's mean
Reading this comment made me remember that I did the exact same thing when I was younger lol. Probably because my mom told me that Lady Gaga was her name, so I got confused 😂😂😂
Hard to find a band that has managed to stay current for as long as Papa Roach. Sure, they have had to change up their style somewhat but i like both the old and the new stuff.
I did big brother big sister in Vacaville which is where he is from. I was military there. When I watched his mannerism and the way he answers questions. They are identical to the teenager I mentored. Both went to Vaca High. Wonder if it's just coincidence or if it is a remnant of when he went in the 90s.
My father was at a bar and he saw them he just said hi and you know that are you guys papa roach and they said they were it nothing to special but, still it's cool

I still can’t believe a man walked into a room, heard scars and getting away with murder and said “this band is dead”
I stopped listening to them after lovehatetragedy but after seeing them live and seeing how good they were, I became a fan again.

Fact or fiction for Metallica
Gruhamed: It says here that your new album is scheduled for a 2015 release...
Lars: Fiction. It'll probably end up taking us at least ten more years to complete it.
ViciousFriendlyFish hahahahhaha
+ViciousFriendlyFish Lars: It's only been about 8 years since our last album, what's wrong with waiting 10 more?

Vicious Friendly Fish well was it worth the wait?
Fact or fiction Korn!
+Raptorking18 Sorry for the late reply, but they have one with Munky and Ray now.

Yay
Fact or Fiction with Carnifex or Job For A Cowboy would be awesome.
I never lol but when Jacoby imitates the tbone and says yeah..."no ..we're not doing that" it tickled me
Fact or fiction Iron Maiden, Metallica, In Flames!!
I remember this guy crying on stage in Nashville about how they wanted to be a punk band. Glad they found their way.
Nice guys, thank you!
Slappa da bass mon.

Saw these guys last year they where incredible 😊

I agree papa roach is awesome

Rock and Roll changed my life too, I wanna rock too!!!!
This guys interviews are so interesting yet so boring at the same time I can't explain it
Shitty interviewer. Dude just agrees with anything poppa roach says or says "wow"
@@KentFPV Concur, he's always been like that. Terrible, terrible interviewer. I watch these for the guests only.
It would be fair to side with boring
Kent Zenisek the concept of the show is cool but ya this guy sucks as an interviewer
@Insert Clever Username He gets to be the interviewer because he IS loudwire, he started this channel/company and did by himself for a really long time. And the comment about the beard is kinda odd, don't be hatin on splotchy beards bro that's mean
PAPA ROACH ARE THE BEST.
Fact: Jacoby's hair will never fall out!
That was a good one Loudwire
I love Papa Roach
I used to think that Jacobys stage name was papa roach before I knew It was a band
Reading this comment made me remember that I did the exact same thing when I was younger lol. Probably because my mom told me that Lady Gaga was her name, so I got confused 😂😂😂
Loudwire check out Sons of Texas they're incredible. The kind of band that sells itself 💯
Papa roach is great after all wwe wanted them to sing a theme
I adore these guys.

These guys look like even with the money they all decided to stay at friends houses on the sofa and found their meals in the couch cushions. Lmao
The guy in the back right literally looks like a young Tim Burton! Lol
Nice work.....from another generation lets say and wanted 'just the facts' and some background. This was great training ground
Jacoby is such a California boy
I met Jacoby before it was awesome
Hard to find a band that has managed to stay current for as long as Papa Roach. Sure, they have had to change up their style somewhat but i like both the old and the new stuff.
"Vaykaville?" 😂😂
VACAVILLE a total farm shithole in California... Famous for a big Prison
Papa Roach fucking ROCKS! Awesome show in Midland, Texas with Stone Sour in early 2013! It's only rock n roll mf's don't be so fucking righteous.
I didn't know Tim Burton was in this band haha
Is Jacoby Shaddix actually Heat Mizer? Asking for a friend.......
3 years before I was born
Who else replayed 1:55 a million times?
If anyone is wondering about the song at the end, it's called Getting Dirty by Silent Partner.
Jacobi Roach the singer went to Ponderosa High School back then, a long time ago.

Yes Jacoby, we know what you're saying.

My son is infatuated with zombies also. He calls them lalas for some reason lol. He's 3 btw and he always wants to watch baby lala videos in RUclips.

I need to try this tactic
I was a huge fan of these guys but now they are a rap group... can only listen to the old PR albums
lol they started like absolute rap then made the switch from Getting Away With Murder.
Are they still friends with Dave Buckner? I think they may have had a one-off reunion with him, but I'm not sure.
