- In this video, I will show you 10 cool tips for beginners of Windows 10, along with a couple tips for power users near the end of this video. Some of these are hidden features that you should know and were recently added after the Windows 10 creators update. Many of these computer tips will help you to get the most out of Windows 10.

I'm getting my first Windows 10 PC next week, so was looking around on RUclips for tips as an intermediate-to-power user. Those notifications used to be called balloon notifications and you needed a reg hack to get rid of those in earlier Windows. Nice that it's now an actual option in Windows. The virtual desktops tip reminds me of modern Android phones, although I know virtual desktops have been around for 20+ years - Litestep, Darkstep, Talisman etc. Thanking you a lot for this video :-)
You can also open *Action Center* and turn on or off *Night Light* from there 😊

But No CD ROM Optical drive?
I hate that! All technicians and PC sellers that are trying to brainwash me with new computers without CD Rom. They say: Oh, you can keep your photos or movies on your computer now or on the External drives or USB. I say Bull to all that!
I make backups, photos and videos so I can give them to my family and friends. I don’t want to buy an expensive or large capacity USB's to give away. There is nothing wrong with CD Drive in the Desktop Tower. Want make thinner Lab Tops? Go ahead, but make some with CD Rom too.
Large USB cost are about $9.00 to $25.00 dollars! 100 DVD cost is about $30.00. So, do I buy 10 expensive USB for $250.00 bucks, or .25 DVD to give to my family and friends? In short, I hate all PC makers that are taking this wonderful product away from us! If you agree with my view, spread the word. Bring DVD’s back!

there's also a huge amount of those rarer mathematical symbols you often need in university and maybe if you're a scientist.

For emojis, on your normal keyboard, you can also press "windows key and period key" at the same time - this brings up a window of emojis, some of them are different than the ones in the on-screen keyboard.
Another cool feature, for those who love to take screen shots, if you press windows key and print screen key at the same time, this will take a screen-shot and save it in the screen-shots folder on your computer.
Can also press windows key and shift and s, which will enable you to select a part of your screen that you would like to take a screen shot of; you will have to name it and save it since it doesn't get saved automatically.

I like that feature that shows a notification when you look at a product such as on Amazon to suggest other sellers 4:00. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on my machine. I think I may have changed something in the settings that disabled that feature and I can't figure out what I did. Anyone know?
Well it's certainly part of Cortana so enable Cortana and search for additional options there.

@@anubbhandari582 Greetings! Although I haven't tried it, yet I believe there needs to be a "period" (.) after the word "Mode," and letters are case sensitive as well. Please let me know if it works.
Just a thought, when creating the god mode or the "monkey mode", remember to put in a period after the "mode" and remember to use all caps.

Do you have a fix for constant microphone muting on windows 10.
Windows 10 and I are having issues about saving files, downloads, and other menacing to a worker bee. Thank you for these tips, I am now going to look for the practical, make a folder you can find again. good lord.
Go to file explorer, you will find them there.

Well finally got my account back together. Im glad that im able to comment finally. I also re-subscribed to this channel on this account too. But im glad I get to know these tricks to help my computer better. Especially when they are free. swich virtual desktops by holding windows key and and hitting an arrow key. also a fun trick is to press ctrl alt down(arrow key)

You can use windows key+alt key+left/right arrow key to switch between virtual desktops :D

i like Windows 10 features , but there is the one problem the 'windows activation'..
and the water color on the screen for activation appeared although i buy this 7 months ago..
I am using my browser and the screen keep changing in size and I don't know how to stop that. Can you tell me how I can do that with any browser? I appreciate the tips you gave and I will be using some myself.

Google Chrome also has Save to PDF as one of the printer options. This is the only web browser that has that option.

Helpful for this ol granny with new laptop
I was told by Microsoft that there is no game mode available in version 1803,Windows 10. I couldn't find the on/off button in Game mode or the game bar settings so I chatted with one of their reps.
About virtual desktops, its important to point out that Linux has this feature (in many of the different desktop environments) way before. Even before MacOS, I guess.
Hi, so I've been trying to find out whether or not I can get the pictures back of the icons as in Windows 7. For example; in my music video files it had the picture and the title of the song, here on Windows 10 it only has the files. Do you know if there's a way to change it back

wow you just upgraded my life on the pc
I want to stop updates to win10 pc, is this available? I have 32gb of flash drive only, every time data hungry updates are coming in, which eats up my 32gb drive upto 18 gb in a 4 months beside my data pack too. I have not purchased a pc with licenced win10 for just updating, updating and updating only.
Cool! it's almost like linux was 15 years ago!! If I could only have all user's data location customisable...

How to start in safemode Win 10 pro ,i like to know ?
On Windows 10 Pro, Under Personalization, Colors, why do I not have; More Options, no Light/Dark mode either?
This is off subject but maybe someone can guide to a place to fix this problem. My 4K video quit playing in the movie &Tv app after a disk defrag and clean up, it is a black screen now with audio only.it does play videos with the 2.64 codec tho. And the 2.65 codec (4K) will play in Windows media player , very choppy tho. Sry this I know is off topic. But any help,guidance is appreciated, Microsoft support was no help at all.

You could always cut and paste. All you do is right click the top left command bar. Even 7 had this.

keyboard for moving among virtual desktops: Ctrl + windows button + right/left
There should have been short cut keys included with some of these, like with the virtual desktops.
Evolve816 They have a separate video on their channel with only keyboard shortcuts for Windows.
