    I miss Mitch so much, his commentary was the kind that lifts your viewing of the sport.

    I absolutely love this commentary team. Sorry to say it's way more detailed than anything Tim Daggett and Nastia Liukin have said over the past 2 quads 😔😔😔😔😔

    He Kexin pulled a Simone Biles and had everyone else fighting for silver and bronze 😂 She was on another level.

    • @carliecole2563

      @Nunovurbznzsodontask pulled a Simone Biles maybe for people like, well, like myself whos never DONE it & never REALLY watched that much gymnastics up until the last few years- probably largely in due TO SIMONE'S dominance garnering so much attention to the sport & along with that- new fans! Who, like me, probably never would even be WATCHING this on RUclips if NOT FOR doing exactly what Simone Biles does a decade after this! It's kind of like a Donnie Darko, time traveling-artifact-philisophical-type thing, really.... "If not for Simone Biles, I would obviously never have made that comment about beating everyone by such a large gap if Simone Biles were not in existence at the time," But, "WITHOUT Simone Biles competing TODAY to grab my ATTENTION & start watch gymnastics- what is the chance i would I ever even have watched this video, or would it even be available to find & watch on RUclips?!"
      I totally get what you mean though lol like a swimmer from the 70s "Pulling a Michael Phelps!" Or something... Literally the exact same thing.
      (I also just think I get exactly where her thinking was cuz I'm probably in a similar boat! No need to be so snarky about it though!)

    36:22 Cha Yong Hwa's bar routine is just brilliant. It has all the flight, connection value, DIVERSITY of skills, and execution potential that anyone could ask for. I mean...what sicko said "I think we'll do a hop 1/1+Def, AND jam dislocate to HS+Ono+Jaeger+Pak."?

    how in the heck did Bross's bars score the same as porgras?????? Porgras should have gotten 0.5 off with every single handstand and Rebecca's were really nice. Plus she had way higher releases and didn't split her legs on her transition to the low bar. Garbage.

    • @gymns411
      @gymns411 Год назад +1

      She decided to go to college and never looked back! Had a great career in college at the University of Alabama and i believe is still in Law School at Tulane University. Some get a taste of elite and decide it isn’t for them. Either way she made history. She is the first American woman to win the World vault title. 🥰

  • @pedropelaez

    The insane thing about Williams winning gold is that she didn’t qualify for elite level until June of 2009 and the. Retired from elite in July 2010. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

    • @annapavfan4680
      @annapavfan4680 5 лет назад

      For real! Like what the fucking fuck! (Only time I've actually cursed in a comment ), but that judge is lucky that her tenth penalties weren't such a changer in the results, otherwise the color of the medals could've really been decided by those mistakes. Lemme find out who she is and I'll file the complaint myself.

      No she's not blind or crazy. In the beginning of the 09-12 quad the code of points said that if you didn't at least put one foot on the center line an OOB penalty would be taken.
      They removed that after this worlds in an updated version.

    • @nicolec4744

      They raised the flag if they didn't have at least one foot directly on the line, but apparently they were raising flags for bent knees too? I don't think I've ever seen that before.

      Right? People all seem to wanna complain about the American NBC commentators- Tim dagget, Elfie & now Nastia Luikin oh yeah & the Dan guy. Complaining how they're so "rude" and how they just compare everyone to Simone Biles & they're too biased blah blah blah... Well That's THEIR JOB, PEOPLE!!! They are AMERICANS, being paid to narrate/cover a competitions in which there are some very dominating AMERICANS athletes will be performing, on a widely broadcasted network- so it needs to try to grab attention from a MUCH broader audience than what the sport generally probably gets. Most general audiences probably WANT fo hear rumors or.snarky llittle shady comments about different athletes or country's. And DONT really care about seeing many other athletes routines EXCEPT the Americans & top 3. Sorry, but there's a reason they keep getting hired for the job year after year- people obviously gravitate towards that style of commentators over this rather dry, dull drivel.
