She's a screamer that's for sure. I have a 12ft Aluminum Deep V Klamath...just bought a 1975 Merc. 110 / 9.8 hp outboard....needs some TLC but can wait to get it going like yours. Very nice little setup.
I Rock Climber 10 hp sounds good for your boat. i upgraded my motor to a 1980 20 hp mercury. on my 14' g3 jon boat. how i can do around 28 to 30 mph. it is a fun boat Check out some of my videos Classicoutboards 1928 I have 4 boats you can check out. good luck Dave from westfield , MA.

I've been watching a lot of similar videos lately, and it seems most of them are from lakes in the north woods. It's neat how these lakes some of the few places you can find large numbers of practical-minded people who use boats that don't cost as much as a small house. Anyway, that's a neat motor and it runs nicely.

Really?? I’ve got a 1968 that looks very similar and has a red banding on the cowl. Confirmed by serial number that I’m midyear 1968. I have a short video of it firing when I bought it

You sure that's a 62? In 62 the 9.8s were still white. In 65, the Cowl Decal had gold Lettering...
