Arthur Shelby Is A Mad Man And Here Is Why - Character Analysis

Guys and girls! You're in for a real treat today. Today's video is about my interpretation of Arthur Shelby's Psyche based on a few observations i made throughout the show that I believe explains why Arthur is who Arthur is and what might have caused it.
Arthur Shelby is the son of Arthur Shelby SR and the big brother of the main protagonist Thomas shelby in the TV-series Peaky Blinders that aired on BBC the summer of 2013.
He's one of the most known characthers of the show if you haven't seen the show in it's entirety and he's usually the fan's favourite. Arthur is rash, funny, brave and a very controversial man that acts as one of the more complex figure-heads of the series.
Arthur has garnered a lot of attention by the Peaky Blinders community with his fluctiating personality which has made him a quite polarizing characther to observe. He starts out as the official head of the gang along with his brother Tommy Shelby and Aunt Polly guiding him along.
I have been very fascaniting by his demeanor and aggresiveness and it has taken me awhile to understand the complex layers that he consist of.
Some of his memorable moments are him screaming out ''By the order of the peaky F**king blinders''
Going into this show for a third time I tried to really pay attention to hir characther development. So this video contains my own findings of Arthur's psychological profile.
I think that I've managed to dig-out a couple of moments in the show that I believe really highlights the richness Arthur offers the show and also bring to light the good and the bad characther traits that he posseses.
If you're new to this channel or have no idea what this video may contain I hope I've been able to shed some light regarding what it is that I'll talk about in this video.

When you're creating a team, you're only as strong as your weakest link and Tommy has a good support group behind him
Again, yet a great analysis. Arthur is a character full of contradictions. He's being tossed between being a moral biblical person and an adrenaline junkie with ptsd and anger issues. He's the most dangerous among the Shelby boys. And yet he's the one who breaks down a lot in the show. Wonderful mate keep up the good work :)

I just started watching the show. I’m on season 3. Arthur is my favorite 🤩 because even though he’s a mad 😠 man I still see humanness in him. Tommy is very cold like a machine. I agree Arthur needs compassion and empathy. However I don’t like Linda. She’s very controlling, manipulative and judgmental too.
I don’t agree with Arthur quitting criminal life to go play in the backyard with his son or whatever. Tommy’s plan of moving the family business forward and name is much better. If it wasn’t for this nobody would know who the Shelby’s were and there wouldn’t be a show. Linda was most definitely holding him back. You don’t need and shouldn’t want to rely on a woman to balance yourself out. Anyways, aside from those points the video was good and provided good insight
