    I think it’s what Mike Austin meant when he said “throw it from the top.” I tried this today and loved the results.

    hi Karl.. tQ for sharing this "method"(?) /"system"(?) .. i hv always been having problems with the overlap n the interlocking grip where it locks my grip too much - at last smone is opening up sm info with the grip above - tQ - i cn feel it is more relaxed. tQ again.

  • @hakirk1

    You made this video eight years ago. Are you still using this method and the 10 finger grip. Also do you use the same grip fit your chips, pitches and sand shots? Your video was straight forward and made all sound simple. How long were you using this swing style when this was made? Thanks.

  • @karmye
    @karmye  11 лет назад +7

    Back on the LeeCommotion bandwagon again. Sure there are many ways to hit the ball but I found them to be high maintenance and unreliable. This method gives you solid ball contact and reliable results. The 10-finger grip is a big part. You must be willing to "use the force" of the right side. This motion does not beat up your body either. I will have to post an updated explanation.

    karl why did you give up this swing it looks effortless

  • @scottsanders2641

    grip is supposed to be in the pads of the finger tips, and pulling can be extremely powerful see John Daly

  • @dry509
    @dry509 5 лет назад

    Wish I could do that. So you are trying to hit the sole of the club on the ground in front of the ball?

    For some reason I still hit behind the ball or top it when I try this method or any method? I am doing something wrong I haven’t figured out. You hit it so cleanly. I have hardly ever had that pure strike you are doing.

      Get your weight on to your left side where your belly button is ahead of the ball.. The reason you hit fat is because your weight is on your right side behind the ball

    I just discovered cmotion a couple of weeks ago. It all makes a lot of sense. I just hate the negative commentary, usually from the officianado, hard core golf enthusiasts. But where has that gotten us? Just generations of golfers who still can't break 90. Of course jack and others made the pulling left hand work, but they had the time, great coaching, and access to golf courses and practice facilities that the average person doesn't have, due growing up in the country club atmosphere. Lee's method looks very simple.
    I haven't tried it yet but are you still doing it? I heard that Lee was coming out with DVD's .... What happened?

      Welcome to the club! That was the fun and mystery of pursuing this swing. Lee Comeaux explains it in a convincing manner and had many golfers, myself included, transfixed. A great golfer in his own right, Doug "The Rock" coined the term LeeCommotion. Twelve years ago, Lee was holding court on a golf forum and had a strong following. They were fixing to star him in a video about his swing. However the producers were struggling with Lee's communication style. He could sure hit the ball, but people could not follow his explanations. Lee is an awesome guy with so much knowledge about the biomechanics involved. That was some of the most fun I had chasing that swing and my enthusiasm shows in this video which I recorded to share what I was learning with my friend Brian back east. Met some real nice folks from around the world doing it.
