    Amazing at all the comments and no one has a clue what he is all about. He found himself and that’s exactly what you have to do to even come close to what you’re seeing here.

    I have watched this guy for a couple of days now, and was mesmerised. I worked out what he was doing and went to the range today. The bad news is , that I now have to go and get my irons gapped as I'm hitting it straighter and further than ever. It's a piece of cake of cake and you don't need strength as suggested by others. Address the ball, turn back rolling your left forearm to the top of your swing,let the club drop on the down swing whilst tucking your elbow to your belly and rotating your forearms back to square. Hey presto.120 balls with less than Hal a dozen that weren't long or straight no mater wether drive or wedge. Best part is no stress on your body
    Just do a couple of practice swings first to get the rhythm.

    When I tried this 45 degrees clubface turned in at address the contact,divot,direction and sound was amazing. Can anybody explain why it did not go straight left?

    It's a great swing but a tough one to copy unless you're a big strong guy with powerful hands and arms. Those with only average or less than average strength would probably have more success with a Shawn Clement style swing.

      The club does all the work. Set it in motion and descends, gathers the ball and the sole rips the turf than comes back up. If you look at your sole profile they are ground so as not to dig too much. A lot of engineering goes into clubs.

      There is nothing extraordinary here.
      Is however a repeatable strike , swinging to balance and now here are couple pro moves;
      He stops his hands at the bottom and strike follow thru are lower body generated.
      Assuming you can take away and follow through , note that each arm is moving at the same rate of speed !
      The lighting is moving the mass for speed through the leading arm . The thunder is power and delivered from the right . Each time you push or pull a practice shot, easy to tell which arm is out of sync. Feel the adjustment on new strike . Pay attention to the feeling when goes so straight .

    There's a lot of Moe Norman here.
    L arm barely gets above parallel.
    Very obvious "vertical drop and horizontal tug" as described by Moe.
    Amazing power in an incredibly compact swing.

      If you look at his other videos he says he is NOT pulling with his left side and that lead side pulling based golf swings will never work. So I don't know about the "tug". He says it's all trailing side driven.

    Why is every video with this guy so incredibly poor? In every single video either the video is piss poor ( like this one) the sound is horrible or there is so much back ground noise that you can't understand a single thing he attempts to verbalize.

    • @555Trout

      ridiculous comment by someone who clearly can't break 80. Playing golf and striking golf shots are almost entirely independent skill sets. There are mediocre strikers who are fantastic players, and there are great strikers who can't play to save themselves. And tournament golf is a beast in itself, with all sorts of physical demands and mental demands that are in themselves the limiting traits determining who is fit for that life. I don't know much about Lee yet, but I can you this, that is one of the best golf swings on planet earth right now. He might not even play much, which is common for such pure strikers. Tour golf has nothing to do with striking in a pure form. There are very few great strikers in pro golf now, the statistics are deplorable really, but a bunch of great putters for sure, and oddly, the ones who do strike it pure can't "score". Say like a guy you've never heard of ,Joe Durant, been on tour forever, best striker statistically for years, but can't win. Oh,, yeah, that putting thing, a game in itself. That alone will eliminate almost everyone from ever making money playing golf. You truly are watching a master strike the golf ball here, and I suggest you look at it as such, cause it don't come along often. And learn a little more about the game, cause its much more complex than your comment suggests you understand. You'll enjoy it more.

    • @johnclark3697
      @johnclark3697 7 лет назад

      555Trout That's true putting is a game within a game. But the very best ball strikers overcome inadequacy in that department. Example. Bernhard Langer. I'VE Witnessed him go through Hell on the green. But, he was so good,he still rose like cream to the top. Just in a different league . REEESPECT. J.🤗🤗🤗🤗

    • @555Trout
      @555Trout 7 лет назад

      Have to disagree her John. Langer, one of the greatest players in the history of the game btw. At one time the highest earning golfer of all time, and his Champion's tour performance is ridiculous and...But he is not a bad putter, he's a very good now, after he recovered from the yips. There are not bad putters in professional golf. There is no way to make it up with ball striking. Its just simple physics and statistics. For example, there is no significant difference in number of putts from 30 ft away or 15ft away, but that is a huge difference in ball striking ability. However, you three putt that 30 footer sometimes and you're dead in the water. The game now is really about quite lousy ball striking in general, and occasional great putting streaks. Professional tours don't set up golf courses any longer to reward ball striking. They set them up for bomb and gouge golf, so driver is always on show. Sort of boring really. I mean the number 1 player in the world hits 50% of the fairways? If golf courses were set up properly that be a half a stroke loss on each missed fairway and we'd never heard of Jason Day. But alas, distance seems to fascinate golfers, and so it sells.

    • @johnclark3697
      @johnclark3697 7 лет назад +1

      Valid POINT & you know Your STUFF. Let's agree to disagree. I'm pretty sure that Calvin Pete,Bill Rogers,Chi Chi, etc would still make a decent fist of it round say, St Andrews,Royal Latham,etc. I was merely citing ball control as pure striking,not Brute Power. Todays equipment has a lot to answer for.without same doubt we'd ever heard of Bubba. Not, that he isn't Fantastic.but back in the day???. regards.John.
