I thought confetti was going to fly in her mouth !!
Definitely one of my favorite Broadway opening songs!! I love how rollicking it is and fun!! Great one! Great sassy lyrics too!!
I had the extreme privilege to see Amra Faye perform this in NYC in September. She is just: legend.
Saw this show tonight, it's so much fun!
The only wish is that I can catch this in Chicago, Illinois.
nostalgie un film inoubliable...merci pour la vidéo !
IM SEEING THIS IN A MONTH AAAAA IM EXCITED!!!
I would love to audition for this show!!!!!!!!!!! love from Chile!!!
Magnifica! 😍😍😍
Superb artistry; all if it
Gotta love American dad putting light on obscure stuff like this
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!
Come to SF!!
saw this show two days ago, so good
Something something brought you here
Was this the whole song? The version in the movie has at least two more verses.
I would LOVE to see this live!
はあ〜くそかっけえ
They should have hired a lighting designer who understands how to light film, not the stage. Also, a cinematographer would have been helpful, too.
A camera picks up differently then watching
Not least when the editor for some reason decides to double the speed of some of the footage...
It's not the full song ... pity
Nice to think of the Chicago 9 thousand yrs ago
Chicago today ain't this at all 😂😢
Remakes done /right/
Bill Anthony one. I'm not an idiot. Two, it's a joke. Please, Do refrain from calling random people names.
I feel the 2002 is just better done than this.
This is terrible. Catherine zeta jones and the movie choreo is a thousand times better. Theow this away
You're not seriously comparing a theatrical performance to a movie? It's always an entirely different experience and performance as you now know
Heaven forbid she get a 20s accurate wig, as opposed to her "ask me my sexuality" hair.
Why would that matter to an involuntary angry incel such as yourself?
@@cathycrago2722 can't be an incel if you're not a man. But of course, that's the only thing your pea brain can come up with.
Historical accuracy is important. You're the kind who cried racism at that new Anne Boleyn show where a black woman played Anne.
Stage version such pretentious horseshit. Movie is the only canon version of this brilliant musical
I'm guessing you've seen it live on stage? I cannot believe you prefer the abysmal film version over the stage production. On stage it's minimalist and improvised with quality dancers and singers showcasing Bob Fosse's original choreography to perfection. It's breathtaking. The film has Rene Zellwegger simpering and miscast, Catherine Zeta-Jones stomping around like a cart horse and Richard Gere, omg what is there to say about THAT performance. Anyone who is a fan of this show must see it live on stage before comparing it to the travesty that is the 2002 film.
Philip Marshall I like both!! I think both the stage and the movie were great. The movie brought a different interpretation to the show. I agree that the previous comment should not have been so harsh, but we can not judge other people’s opinions! I will always be partial to stage adaptations because I do theater, but film is just as good!
There would be no movie without the 1975 stage production, bud. Musicals always start as a stage production. Cheaper to produce. Movies only get made of them they think they can make enough money from distro to justify the much larger cost of producing a movie.
do you even know what pretentious means?? you definitely didn’t use it right here that makes no sense
