ㅇ와~씨 .. 이건 오리지날이 이름값하네.. 다시한번 느끼지만 시카고는 진짜 댄스, 몸, 노래 ..너무 어려운 공연인듯.
노래는 우리나라도 잘 하는거 같은데, 몸 쓰는게 넘사벽인듯. 몸의 모든 잔근육을 정확하게 움직이고 손끝까지 힘이 확실히 들어가는 느낌. 절도있으면서 매끄러워.

어차피 소재가 소재이다보니 한국배우들과 차이날수밖에 없음 저사람들이 아무리 노력해도 갓쓰고 한복입고 서편제 뮤지컬을 우리만큼 할수없듯이

목소리도 곡도 너무 매력적임
소재도 소재지만, 속에있는 끼나 자신감을 자유롭게 표출하지 못하게하는 한국 특유의 정서도 한몫한다고 봄.. 물론 요즈음은 많이 나아졌긴 했지만.. 한국어 자체의 딱딱 걸리는 발음도 그렇고 이뮤지컬을 한국어로 번안해서 무대에 올리기엔 너무나 신체적,언어적,정서적 장벽이 많이 존재함. 워낙에 미국 특유의 클럽문화, 재즈, 블루스, 캬바레 음악과 댄스등등 모든게 아주아주 미국적인 전통을 집약시켜놓은, 매우 '미국적인' 작품이니만큼 아무리 해도 본래맛을 내기엔 쉽지 않을듯. 특히나 이 뮤지컬 특유의 음험함은 정말 본능적이고 자유 그 자체의 연기가 필요한데...ㅠ저 한장면을 자세히 분석해봐도(헤어,음악,의상,조명,안무,등등등)몇백년 이상의 뿌리를 찾아낼수 있을것임.. 다른 어떤 번안 작품보다도 더 많은 연구와 시각/청각적인 완벽함이 필요함.
그쵸 정말 미국적인 작품이라... 한국적인 민요나 국악을 외국인이 하는거랑 비슷하다고 봐요ㅠㅠ

This is a truly excellent interpretation that I think captures its spirit
관능적이고 섹시하다 근육의 움직임이 선명히 보일 정도로 굉장히 세심한 무빙과 피지컬. 다른 벨마와는 비교가 안될 정도로 최고인듯. 한번 씩 생각나는 영상.
아니 제발 한국 남자댄서들도 저렇게 메이크업해주시고 저런 옷좀 입혀주시고 저런 실력있으신 분들좀 뽑아주세요ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
작품줄거리나 정서도 서양정서고 기본 피지컬두 글쿠, 아무리해두안되는 어쩔수 벽이 있긴 있어유. 그냥 동양인이 시카고의 스토리와 정서 등등을 하는자체가 한계가있움
남자 댄서가 그렇게 멋있나요? 잘 모르겠는뎅... 여자 배우는 확실히 대단하네요
적어도 화장은 좀 해줬으면 좋겠음... 무대서시는 분들은 몸에도 쉐딩하시던데 그런거라도... 여자배우분들과 너무 차이나서 좀 이질감?느껴짐

Excellent performance. I know this show VERY well. I saw the revival starring Bebe and Ann, and many worthy replacements numerous times. Dylis Croman is AMAZING!
정중앙에 앉으면 벨마 등장할때 목덜미로 소름이 돋는데 그게 너무 좋음

I went to AMDA Ny and during my last semester we took a theater dance class. I remember Terra teaching us this choreography and the choreography to Rich Man’S Frug and the audition from A Chorus Line. Such an amazing instructor!
Actually I came looking for this for the same reason! I went a different year but we also did the all the jazz choreo it was so fun :) ❤
Thank you for posting this. I haven’t had allot exposure to Chicago other than the movie musical, but having seen the clips here, I’m excited enough to hop the train to NYC and see the show on Broadway. The sheer physicality and precision to perform this show is amazing, and my hat is tipped to every person who has dedicated their time and efforts to their craft. Thank you

I saw Terra in London opposite Ruthie Henshall, loved her Velma, definitely a favourite Velma of mine.
I can't help but be distracted by that one male dancer in mesh. Gives a lot of "visibility" to the choreography hehe
If the angle were different, the male in a leather best might get some of your time.
