This is awesome! Picked up a laser two weeks ago and have been experimenting with all kinds of boards, wood, tiles and images. I have the air assist and it really is a game changer....but as for the smoke in the room, I been thinking about putting together a "vent box". Now I know I need to do it 😀 Creating boxes is so much fun and I love the idea of making gifts - a useable box to give gifts in. Loved the gingerbread house and the snowflake lantern.... next to surf through Etsy!! Thank you, Lisa, I appreciate all that you do!
Hi Jim! They can be surprisingly easy to use especially if you’re using purchased files - the gingerbread house and snowflake lantern are files I purchased from Etsy for a couple of bucks for like 4 different designs.
Reminds me of the CAD/CAM system we had when I worked on aircraft. The laser followed the drawings to get the shape and the computer would ask for inputs. The info was then relaid to 3 and 5 axis milling machines. Incredible to watch it all happening. Merry Christmas to you and all your loved ones, I hope the new year is a bright and wonderful one for all of you.
Ooh, you've been a busy girl ! And you have done so many different things all so well !! I'm still at the engraving stage; a cutter is on my ToBuy list at very low priority. Well done Lisa !! Thanks for sharing. Take care. -Mike p.s. no snow yet here in western PA thank goodness. Yours does look pretty and peaceful.
Thanks Mike! The beginning of this video was recorded on early November - that storm wasn’t bad, it melted, then we got 15” and then all that melted too so right now we don’t have any either! 😂
You made some pretty nice stuff with that laser, I wonder if you could cut scroll saw patterns with it although some of the wood used is thicker and that would not work, looks like a fun time, well done Lisa and thanks! Cheers Al
Hi James! I’ll have a couple more laser videos coming up over the next couple of months and I’ll either talk about it there, or during a Workshop Wednesday video I’m planning to work on during the holidays 👍

Great video Lisa. I'm glad to see you are having so much fun. Merry Christmas to you and the ladies.
Thanks Bruce, it is a lot of fun. Shooting for a project video for Thursday but we’ll see how far I get with that. Merry Christmas to you as well!
You had way too much fun!!! Loved all of your creations.
These really are a lot of fun and I’m finding all kinds of ways to integrate it with my Turing stuff 😁
That is a very nice engraver, what does it cost?
Using the discount link in the description box gets the laser unit for $449.00 USD and there are several package options with discounts as well.
@@LisaRamlow Thank you for responding.
Lisa, have you checked out my channel yet?
...nice machine...but I wish your review of the Longer was longer...😉👍
😂 got a little carried away with this one 😁
Oooh! I like it! 😊❤
Why thank you 😁
Looks like a lot of fun Lisa.
It definitely is Jack!

Thanks Al! Some of these lasers can cut relatively thick wood, with multiple cuts so I would think it’s possible.
So Christmas like, my friend.
Thank you!
Very nice
I was so mad that half of the LEDs went green!
Great info! Thanks!
Thanks Dianne!
How about some info on your enclosure design. Neat idea.

How far from Kalamazoo are you?
Couple of hours I think. We’re near Baldwin, about halfway between Grand Rapids and Traverse City on M37
My sister and brother in law lives in Kalamazoo.
i am sick of seeing laser this laser that, when I see laser, I thumbs down and click out.
That’s too bad cuz they are a really nice tool addition to wood turning 🤷♀️
@@LisaRamlow
That may be true but it is being oversold.
I do enjoy your turnings though
