Just saw this film and thought Renee was absolutely wonderful, tour de force fabulous performance. Her own interpretation of Judy's singing voice and style while up on that nightclub stage was thrilling.. I enjoyed the 2001 tv production (with Judie Davis (?) if I'm remembering correctly). However, I thought she was too old for certain parts of that production for instance the trolly sequence and she was lip synching to Judy's singing but a great actress also.

Ahnanas Darsell I like Renée, but I will say her updated facial features are not easy to look at. She was perfect before whatever she had done. She had a fuller face, and she has aged, but the enhancements went against her looks.
