The Dr stated she need a year off. The studio gave her 3 weeks. No wonder she felt her mother failed her.

I agree. I also think many of these talented entertainers who have gotten mixed up on drugs and suffered from mental illness were the insecure/ shy types that needed more support. Marilyn Monroe’s struggles that lead to her death were also very similar to Judy.
On her mother, Judy said, “she had absolutely no talent”. The abuse started there. At least we loved her from a far, as fans. We didn’t know her but we felt love for her and we appreciated and watched her always.

Then tossed on the scrap heap a severely damaged addict. Her story is just heartbreaking. Judy you deserved so much better. The only comfort is the eternal legacy left by many of your films. Particularly the Wizard of Oz. Which will be part of the fabric of millions of childhoods forever more ❤️

I agree. I also think many of these talented entertainers who have gotten mixed up on drugs and suffered from mental illness were the insecure/ shy types that needed more support. Marilyn Monroe’s struggles that lead to her death were also very similar to Judy.
