I’m in my first season on Low Fuel Motorsport and I rewatch your track guides after every 30 minute practice session. I really helps refine my laps and by the end of the week I feel competent and competitive in my split. Keep up the great work!
Nice vid, surprised this doesn't have more views. I have a ton of time played in ACC and still like to see if my braking points match up with what others are doing. This has solid advice and lines
Just started playing ACC on the XBox Series X and thought I was doing good times at 2:10 at Silverstone, then I saw one of the leagues doing 1:56! 14 seconds off pace! Yep, that would be me dawdling at the rear! It was at this point I realised I wasn't actually ready for Competizione!
PS: I couldn't agree more "be patient as you go through hell". Worst corner on the entire track IMHO, "practise" takes me back to zero every single time LOL.
I know this is a year old but did you get better? Lol. I just started ACC after playing F1 23 for most the year. Was nailing times within 2 seconds of the world record on Silverstone. Best time tonight (day 2) of Silverstone on ACC, 2:12 lol. 😂
Thanks very much! You will get there, just takes a lot of practice. Remember that this time was set with optimum pressures, weather, setup, low fuel etc. Anything in and around 2 minutes is a great time. Best of luck 🙂
just started getting into sim racing trying the Aston out managed a 2.06 at this track watching this vid has made me realise i'm not being agressive enough in the corners guess it's cause i'm still getting used to racing on a wheel lol, great vid though
I have played over 500 hrs. on this game, and I cannot get anywhere near these times. Even with updates and Tire model changes I am aware they wont be the same lap times I see here, but I run around 2:05 all the time. Also watching some of you guys who make these videos, it amazes me just how smooth your laps are. I was just trying to practice the first part of this track with your video. And my car just slides off most times. I have the breaking zone and shifting spot on with yours and even tried modifying my setups off the pre made aggressive setup and I just can't do it. My cars, no matter which I try, are so unstable and unable to keep this smooth of a line throughout the track. I wish I could do this. I practice a lot too. I have not even tried racing online against others due to my ineptitude. Any good sites for helping figure out my issues that you know of? With all my hours on this as well as Iracing..I would have thought I would be able to at least be more consistent. But i can not get anywhere near having my car running this good unless I try using all the assists and such to help me. And as I want to be true as I can to life, I do not want to have to do this. So sorry about the long message. Just seems like you may be a nice guy to ask on here.
I recommend getting into our discord server and posting a video of your lap into the ACC channel, we can analyse and provide some constructive feedback about what you need to do to get the laptimes right down. discord.gg/traxion
Highly recommend Aris Drives vids on YT, especially the one on car setup for you driving style. That unlocked things for me. He is one of the ACC dev team and knows his stuff. Also really try with the Ferrari and Lambo, both have super grip mid corner when set up tight. Stay smooth with your inputs. I just broke through the 2:03 barrier yesterday after playing for a year, into the lie 2:02 today, you can do it!
My PB is 2:03.2 at the moment and I do about 2:06.5 average over a 30 minute hotstint, this is after 3 days of owning a wheel and around 100 laps of the track, how am I doing? (This is with the AMG Evo.) It feels sort of disheartening to be so far off even the AM pace but that PB of 2:03.2 already felt like a heroic lap, it feels so impossible to go faster right now... then again I've only done around 100 laps in total of the track
To be fair as many people have said the times in this video arent really valid as they changed tyres and stuff like that so its much harder to even get close to these times
These were set in hotlap mode (so around 10L of fuel) and the setup had been modified from the aggressive default. It's also worth bearing in mind that this lap was recorded around about christmas time last year, so things will have changed a fair bit since then, both the car and tyre model. So for all of those reasons and as usual with ACC, specific times are tricky to compare 🙂
I'm new to sim racing. I was just starting the part in my ACC career where I'm going to be racing at Silverstone, but it changed my fov to the back of the car. I can't figure out how to get it back to the view over the dash through the front windshield. Help please?
I have no idea how you are going through maggots in 5th but I am determined to figure it out. I'm also driving the McLaren 720S and have noticed a pretty significant difference in the timing of when I shift versus when I drive another car so maybe I am safe just sticking to 4th gear there.
I just did it after about 10 more laps of trying to get my line right and the replay looks smooth as hell! 😄 now just need to get consistent with it. Thanks!
Same for me but in the Ferrari 296 on Paul Ricard. Any fast breaking zone, the rear of the car goes out like crazy and I end up drifting at 200 km/h... I switched to the BMW M4 and I gain 2.5 seconds.
Would be really helpful if you could keep the HUD in the full track replay to see brake/throttle inputs

Glad you have found it useful Jordan, best of luck with your racing!
Finally: a track I’m hitting the Am time based on your site #s. First time for one of your vids lol.
Thanks! I tend to watch your track guides every time long race is coming up. Nice way for mental preparation... 👍
Glad they are useful! 😊

You'll get better my brother. Your not slow just need more time behind the wheel. You'll get there man! God bless!

@@GonzoSD316 F1 is an arcade game compared to this. Especially if you play on console rig.
very helpful thank you! this is really good coaching
Thanks, glad you found it useful :)
Great guides, my favs on YT. Stuck on 2:02. Maggets/Beckets is so critical…..😐
Back for more practice and to watch this vids repeatedly.
Thanks very much! You will get there, just takes a lot of practice. Remember that this time was set with optimum pressures, weather, setup, low fuel etc. Anything in and around 2 minutes is a great time. Best of luck 🙂
I thought I was a decent driver until I realised Maggots can be done in 5th!
Thanks a lot! Just by learning the best line, I was able to shave off nearly 7 tenths on my time. Im now trying to stay within the 1:59s consistently.
Excellent, thanks as always for the support Zeth 🙂
It's a tough track to be incredibly fast at but carrying momentum is such a strong way to gain time.
Actually, in T1 tracklimits is the curb. As long as you have 2 wheels on the curb on exit you are fine 😉
10 seconds very informative
bro u r the best! let's go to another race, many thnx again!
You are very welcome, good luck! 😄
Top notch mate!

Gt cars irl use traction and abs, so don't be afraid to turn it up and get consistent
Same problem as you. Can’t get under 2:03 min on Silverstone. Car is sliding a lot, even when driving a little slower. Driving McLaren GT3 720S

nice job guy
Thanks
Abit of context around these laptimes please. Are the done in hot lap mode or practice? Stock aggressive setup or custom setups? How much fuel?

Good video is the lap time different with lamno st evo 2?
Love them

How are you able to brake so late and have 100% stability? If I brake into cops at that board I end up flying off the track.
