Stella Parton used to babysit me. My father is best friends with Randy Parton. I am very good friends with Dolly's niece Heidi. Dolly is absolutely gorgeous but I always thought that Stella was so beautiful still is beautiful! All of the Parton brothers and sisters have amazing hearts! They wear them on their sleeves for sure.

That is so cool you had that sweet lady babysit you. I agree Stella is a beautiful lady. I saw her in 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. She was so cute in that movie.
Those 60s hair styles though, I am glad those are gone. My mom's older sisters had similar styles and their senior pictures are at my grandma's house. I remember looking at those pictures as a kid and wondering if who were those to women with the strange hair. I was born in 72 and I don't remember it anyone with hair like that. I had some strange hair in the 80s though.
      Thank you for sharing.

All 4 of us traveled to a school auditorium at Jenkins, KY back in the later mid 1970s & saw Dolly Parton perform there...she's the only famous person the 4 of us ever went to see in person...we were so glad she was appearing close enough to where we lived up in VA. My brother went up to the stage & bought her album. Dolly sang so many of her famous songs at that time..."Love Is Like A Butterfly" & "I Will Always Love You". We couldn't believe we were actually seeing her for real & not on TV. ...We saw the 3 Parton sisters perform on the show back then. I haven't seen this since the 4 of us were sitting in the living room way back then. My folks & brother are in Eternity now & this video brings back good memories of when we were still together & healthy & my brother & I was young with future lives waiting to happen. Thank you for sharing this video for the world to see...it's a wonderful family performance.

Dolly is the real thing. Unlike a lot of southern Christian women she walks the the walk with grace, dignity and generosity to all. Her humility and humor could be a lesson to us all. It is often during our darkest hours that her light shines brightest. I will never forget the fact that amidst the initial horrors of Covid and the shock of 45, she stood like a beacon of hope 🗽 for ALL America standing up for what was correct (notice I wouldn't use Right due to it's toxic political non Christian implications) and put her money where her mouth is. She is of no "feeble mind" for sure. I thank her for helping others move beyond theirs. ✌️

As it is I felt like I was gushing already but she really is a National Treasure and Model Citizen who never forgot where she came from but seems to have let go of or possibly never had antiquated biases or want to pass judgement on others. It appears no one was able to manipulate her in any system nor did she. A free spirit that dances for and with the air all around us. I thank her and like Liberty and Justice, long may she live.
