@JustJay I agree with all of those things, and if that is why people like The Joker there are much better film's that touch on this subject for sure, because The Joker was actually pretty terrible. He bashed a guys head in for basically no reason. I still like the film, and enjoyed the ending, but it's not near as intelligent as people make it out to be.
Watch "Falling Down" with Michael Douglas, or hell even "The Cable Guy" with Jim Carrey is a better example of society making someone into a monster in my opinion. I can give more examples, but those were off the top of my head
