Neither, those applications use many thin wires (if still using copper). This cable was for high power. Copper is a soft metal, not great for traditional weapons. Better if you can mix it with tin to make bronze. However, shaped charges to bust tanks do use a copper lining, which the explosive forms into a high speed jet of copper (not molten), able to penetrate thick steel.
