It was made backwards but besides that’s it’s an amazing piece of work
As a star wars fan and enthusiast. The blade looks so cool. The handle looks amazing. Good job
Too bad the blade is backwards
This is an amazing take on a real-life version of the Dark Saber you just keep raising the bar when it comes to your work.
Yes! I've looked into it a few times, for this project as well I looked into cerakote, powder coating and anodizing. But had to skip due to short deadline. But I will say anodizing is notorious for not working too well on home cast aluminum. I really need to try someday :) Thank you!!
I Agree, Very Beautiful... But The Sharp Side Should Have Been On The Opposite Side
Patience, knowledge, skills, tools and a beautiful beard, this man has everything
🤣🤣 Thanks man
Fantastic build! The edge on the blade and the detailed handle really bring it all together.
Too bad it's backwards
It’s the attention to the details as well as how everything was so well thought out in advance to make this amazing incredible build flow so well & easy for something that I know is anything other than what it appears to be! Killer Mike said it best, “Somebody worked real hard to make it look easy, but it anit easy
Man, you did such an amazing job on the handle design and the whole blade concept that it pains me (literally hurts) to say that the blade is backwards/put an edge on the wrong side... and if you do end up making a new blade with the correct orientation, might I also suggest making the tang wider so it is fully functional? The way you designed the handle would accommodate it, I'm sure. Just have to reshape the wooden spacers. But honestly, I'm still impressed as is. You're awesome, man.
Thank you!!
As a huge Star Wars fan, it made me very happy to see this. This sword would make an amazing collection piece.
The Force is strong with this one. Seriously the craftsmanship was on a whole new level. This guy is operating in the year 3000.
The sword that got me into star wars, you don't know how long I've been waiting for someone to forge it ❤😢🎉
The sword came out looking incredible. Your casting work has got phenomenal as well. Awesome video, thank you.
The sword looks great really captured the look of a star wars sword. Great video 🔥
Thank you! Cheers!
The san-mai design is really clever. I was expecting you to do some raindrop or grinding lines in the blade to let the light part "shine through" in places. That would have been sweet. 🙂
Though I remain in awe of your handle construction skills.
The moment when you have all the tools in your workshop. Wonderful job! Like!
I still want more tools! Never enough 🤣
At the moment, I URGENTLY need a forge and preferably a lathe, a milling machine and a huge grinding machine, as well as a powerful polishing machine like yours))))@@BlackBeardProjects
Watching you and your channel grow over the years is a joy to witness. I remember when you were a little shy to be in front of the camera with a few thousands subscribers … now look! 👀 Super confident, 2M+ subs, and being sponsored by Disney! Amazing workmanship as always! Congratulations 🥂 🎉🎉🎉
THANK YOU! Much appreciated.
It's not just the Mandalorian, the Darksaber's also from both Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels as well.
Your craftsmanship is amazing.
Very nice outcome. You have a great skillset. Casting, forging, machining and working with handtools, Chapeau! 👍
It will kill, but he's no good to me dead. Nice job indeed
"This is the way." Great construction and design, you really thought it through. Thank you for the high speed video, as much as I enjoy watching a craftsman at work there are many aspects that one does not need to sit through.
Really nice looking sword, amazing craftsmanship
What a stellar job as per usual! Not only did it come out looking amazing it seems to be very functional as well! Thanks again!
I've seen a few blacksmiths do this blade, and I believe yours is the best-looking version.
amazing thought process on the final touches of locking the bottom of the handle .... I'm glad I'm not the only one that sends pool noodles flying every once in a while
Beautiful. And backwards. But beautiful
Masterfully crafted. Only critique, darken and distress the blade leaving the highly polished cutting edge!
Excellent Job! I'm a big fan of 'The Mandalorian', so thank you!
I approve of the vice grinder!
So sick, love the way the handle came out... This is the way
That was one of the cleanest castings I've ever seen. I am hopefully starting hobby casting in the next few months and i can only hope to someday have such clean castings
I never knew Himura Kenshin was one of the wielders of the darksaber, you learn something new every day
I'm a huge Mandalore fan and Tarre Visla being my favourite, I would love to own this sword.
Finally a site that knows what Forging is.
Not heat and grind like Forged in Flames.
Nope, I was wrong!
🐍😂
I commend you on such a patient build!
Insane Casting. Never seen one come out so clean before.
a far better and more true to life version than the Awe Me version that recently dropped. Excellent execution and great idea!
This is the Way!
Amazing work, well done brother ❤
The FORCE is with you.
Awesome craftsmanship.
@0:58 the Morris code said "O shizzle gizimgar badadada sheemp boop ka pow 1394 blozum-brakum brakken"
Fantastic work! Quality through and through.
Your craftsmanship always impresses me ❤. I mean really the casting of that handle was 10/10!
Nunca dejas de sorprenderme, enhorabuena por otra obra de OBRA DE ARTE.
Awesome to watch a true craftsman! Beautiful sword!
Impressive work. I applaud your skills and efforts.
Amazing skills to create a beautiful piece...
I've got to say that is a beautiful work of art.
The force is strong with you young Jed ❤.

This Sword is sooo cool. 😄 And Thank You for all your Videos those entertain us!
Thank you. I enjoyed watching your video.
Gorgeous blade!
Nice bead as well!
Awesome craftsmanship. I’d love to have one if you make more.
Those welds you did were so good I about did a back flip
I LOVE THIS COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
It looks great and you did a wonderful job making it as well!!!!
I enjoyed your video so I gave it a Thumbs Up
Завидую золотым рукам Мастера !!
Looks beautiful, but I wouldn’t use it as anything other than a display piece. When you do San Mai you put the high carbon on the inside of the stainless steel to give your edge strength. I would have done Go Mai to let the stainless steel still show, but allow for a stronger edge.
Edit: a Damascus inner layer would add to the effect
Outstanding work.
Maan!!.that's insane!!.nice job 👍
To get the glowing edge around the blade, perhaps you could inlay some white EL wire, powered by a battery in the handle. There is some very thin EL wire out there.
That's incredible !
Outstanding sir very well done thank you for sharing this six stars
Pretty cool, it looks easy but I am damn sure it is hard, well done.
This thing is beautiful!
With how you used that zip cutter... now I've seen EVERYTHING
So talented. Amazing
Great work sir you are genius
Nice blade
I wasn't expecting the Minnie Mouse sounds at about the 10:30 point 😂
Thank you for the video, I can't imagine the hours put into the sword and the video combined.
Beautifully Done!! 👍👍👍
Nice build BB. 😁👍

My Guy That sword is Baddass, you are Baddass Awesome Awesome Work 👍🏻👍🏻
Amazing work. 💖
The phrase you use to label the video alone is bad ass enough, “I forged the Dark saber”
Freaking awesome mate 🤙🏻❤️🤙🏻
Nicely done!!
Great job, BB!
Death to pool noodles! 😂
thank you
