  • I was lucky to see a presentation on the ADAPT protocol at the American Physical Therapy Association conference. This approach makes so much sense to me.

This makes sense. And then when not in a flare-up, I find that something that really helps me in the medium/longer term is building/recovering leg muscle fitness. Especially in the calves. My guess is that having a bit of leg development would be akin to wearing pressure stockings.
Long COVID turned my mild POTS into debilitating POTS, and I'm only just starting to wonder how much of that might be related to the deconditioning I experienced from COVID & long COVID. But it's a real catch-22, so I've been finding recovery really challenging.

I appreciate this a lot! Is there a timeline to shift from one thing to the next?

Thank you. That would be laid out in the protocol. But I would have it depend on how patient felt.
