Great video. My fiancée and I ordered a sport 18 230. Hoping to be here by spring. Just an FYI, after a ton of research and back and forth with BRP and our dealer we discovered the anchor 100% does not come with it. They sell one as an accessory that fits the designated anchor storage for $250. It’s a reasonable price considering it comes with the line and chain. After owning a boat I would highly recommend getting the anchor designed for the Switch. My boat now is a bow rider and you have to move people around the boat to fish the anchor out form under the seats. This design is awesome. If you’re into organization like we are this is the boat for you.

That’s a nice little family hauler!!! Looks like you can fish off of it to.
Definitely great for family time. The deck is so roomy that it feels like your own littler island. For sure you can fish off of it on the front deck and the back swim platform, there is plenty of space and easy clean up after a fishing day.

Also one request….. there are a handful of demo videos but would be nice to have one that shows the launching and docking of the switch. I keep hearing about how easy it is to dock with the IBR but for those of us who are new to Sea Doo would be nice to see it in action at the dock and on the ramp. And also curious about how much wake it throws out. Thanks again love your videos.
I have one and I can say it’s very easy to dock also on max speed we can hit about 30-35 mph not very fast but that is where the skies come in normal wake as far as a spark 3up
@@marineinneed Sorry for the confusion, I meant docking and wake on the new Switch not the Spark.

Just saw this today and wondering if they have a fishing option for it. Like a live well, fishing chairs and attach points for poles.
Unfortunately I don’t believe so at this time but I’m sure it’s coming.

I’m planning on buying a switch sometime next year. My first question is are the compartments on the 18 and the 21 footer big enough to fit scuba diving tanks? The second question is what is a better deal the 18 footer or the 21 footer?

We have a Sea-Doo switch and we bought the fender kit and we watched 1 million videos and cannot get them to snap on onto the side of the Pontoon boat do you have any videos on how that goes

Great video! I do have a question. I have a lake in my backyard and they allow pontoons but only with electric motors. Is there a way to install a trolling motor to one of these? To have the ability to enjoy it on my lake and also be able to take it out to the sandbar/ocean?
I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to install a trolling motor. The platform is big in the back.

Unfortunately there are no doors on the side of this model. I would contact BRP to confirm if there will be a door made on the side. Check out Anthony Ｒａｄｅｔｉｃ’s Facebook page. He shows how he enters the switch with a wheelchair.
I was wondering about side gates myself along with a swim platform ladder and the anchor door really really really needs fixed hinges or they’ll be a lot of them on the bottom of rivers and lakes lol. Otherwise looks awesome.
@@AlveanAzurin he gets in with the boat rear end against the dock. Most docks won't work for disabled folks entering the boat like a normal Pontoon does. Rethinking my purchase and so very disappointed at this point.

No unfortunately it didn’t have the upgraded sound system. The corner tables are where the speakers would be underneath the open area of those tables.

Yes that also but the Trim tabs is what makes the angles on this big vessel.

I don’t believe you are correct about the anchor being included for free- I ordered a switch a about 6 weeks ago and the anchor package was an additional $250 option.

Even if it “came” with an anchor, it’s built in to the price
"Now this little compartment at the front, which is the bow ..." -- LOL!! By the way, according to the Sea-Doo site, the anchor is NOT free. The compartment is there on all models, but if you want the Anchor Kit, you have to pay $249.99. (Just sayin.)

Sea Doo should add a carpet option to fit in for the tiles that you are going to walk on. I can't see a pontoon without carpet. Biggest turn off for this sea doo pontoon.

It's definately enough. These things are designed for slow travel with friends on board. You won't be taking for Island rides as they will get smashed up in the chop. Pretty cool Cruiser for the rivers & calm waters
They make a 230 HP too
