100hp i believe is enough for the family day out have fun, swimming, fishing coffee, tea time, relax and some Sashimi. If all the plastic parts made out of resin should be last for long time.
Thanks for watching. Yeah I can remember riding around with a 40hp motor on my first pontoon. It goes and done what I wanted for sure. So a 100hp will also do the job of getting you out on the water.
Love the boat after seeing it in person. 2 issues I have with the cruise, is that there's only a storage compartment for the anchor in the front and not the back as well. 2nd, they advertise and sell this boat as a skidoo or waverunner versus a pontoon boat. Not to mention, all they're advertising has been about fun, cruising, towing and a day out on the water, but nothing about fishing. Do Seadoo have attachments for the switch to turn into a fishing boat platform? Do they have a livewell option like the Pro or Trophy ski doo? What about rod holders and shallow water anchor?
Does anyone know anything on the engineering of the steering setup? I’m perplexed that the steering is backwards in reverse. That’s the one thing I don’t like. I don’t understand why they designed it like that and how they designed it is even more puzzling. If I turn left in reverse the drive would have to be positioned in a right hand turn. So does the drive operate on a drive by wire setup instead of cables? Just doesn’t make sense. I’d love to know the thoughts behind such a design. It’s not intuitive and I think is the biggest flaw in this boat. I’m sure after time one can get used to it. But it’s never safe in my opinion to reverse controls like that.
Thanks for watching. I know it has a cable that turns the jet drive. When in reverse there is a flap that comes down and directs the jet water in the direction under the rear of the pontoon causing it to go backwards. That is why the reverse steering is awkward.
Could you kindly do a base audio speaker demo vs the premium upgrade. If ya don’t have premium in could ya just demo basic one. I’m on a list for a 2023 sport compact trying to figure if I need the upgrade. Thanks
Thanks for watching. From what we expeience on the DEMO ride it does well in rough water. The center pontoon is deaper in the water than the outer two so it cuts the water and waves really well.
Thanks for watching. Yeah we have 3 left coming in that do not have deposit. August, and 2 in September. Call sales to get a deposit on one 606-258-0005
Don't matter, most likely will be marked up on you. I was in contract for one and they hit me with a 20% markup after being in contract for one. I canceled.
I was kind of surprised at that too. BUT for me that means there’s room to grow. Supercharger, tune and maybe different pitch impeller and will wake that boat right up. I definitely would like to see a 300hp model. But for what it is 100 will be just fine.
DO NOT buy the 100 HP! totally underpowered. The 230 is only sufficient, the 100 hp would be virtually worthless unless you are using this in a pond or small lake. I know, I have this same boat the sport 230 HP model and the performance is "Sufficient" but not great.
@@frankbrattoli2727 it is hard to spec out one for north of $50k, $71k must include another Sea Doo. I also got a 21' sport with double bimini and all the accessories we wanted for $40k, including trailer. The prices and build options are on the Sea Doo site.
Thanks for watching. Yeah we got this one just out of nowhere. We hope to get the rest of our orders soon but honestly will be closer to August before we do.

I want the 21' Cruise with 230 hp. Just wish they came in more colors, like turquoise. & in bigger sizes.
Thanks for watching. Yeah we would like to see some colors like that also.

Thanks for wathcing. We believe the fishing model will be out in 2023 for the switch.
*SeaDoo, not SkiDoo.
@@CarieSaad thanks for the correction.
A standard set of rabbit ears will get you over a 125 channels and the antenna only cost 5 bucks at wal mart.
Thanks for watching.
What about winterizing ?? Will the plastic panels handle winter or are they going to crack??
Thanks for watching. They have been tested in all weather condition and will not be damaged due to cold weather.
@@AdrenalineCyclesKy What about the engine ?? what would be the winterizing procedure ?
@@AdrenalineCyclesKy I’d like to know that too
Winterization will be the same as a Sea-Doo.
Could this make the trip from Florida to the Bahamas?
Thanks for watching. I would assume so if you had enough fuel for that long of a distance.
For the price, Sea-Doo should have included a Minn Kota with spot-lock, making fishing much easier
Thanks for watching. Yeah I think at some point the will add those to a pontoon.
How shallow of water can go through and how protective is it against rocks
Thanks for watching. It can go in about 3 feet of water. Its protected against rocks as good as any other boat.

Thanks for watching. We will try but we have only gotten 2 Switch pontoon.
@Adrenaline Cycles is the stock audio sufficient enough for sound volume on a sport compact? That’s my main concern
What is the rPMs when it is idling mines at 1800 didn’t know if that was standard seem kinda high. I’ve got a 22ft 170 hp
Thanks for watching. It seams a little high. Should be closer to 1500RMP.
This thing is awesome
Thanks for watching.
That’s a neat little toy to have I would use that for fishing
Thanks for watching.
I wonder how high of a waves can this handle ? may be not good for the ocean.

Sweet
Thanks for watching.
Also, one door entry is and will be a problem as people start to get there hands on them down the road.
Thanks for wathcing. Yeah we have been telling BRP this. And hopefully the issue is fixed in newer models.
Do you have any coming that are not spoken for ?
Thanks for watching. Yeah we have 3 left coming in that do not have deposit. August, and 2 in September. Call sales to get a deposit on one 606-258-0005
Will it fit in a 20 ft garage?
Thanks for watching. No it would need at least 25 feet to fit it and trailer in garage.
Only thing I don’t like is it looks like the Bimini has to be up while on the water
Thanks for watching. Yeah the top has to be up when you are on the water.
Think you’re gonna want the 230hp with the 18’ and above
Thanks for watching. We are always for more HP at the shop.
Great video! What’s the price on this model as it sits?
Thanks for watching. With all the BRP fees it is 31895. Plus tax
Don't matter, most likely will be marked up on you. I was in contract for one and they hit me with a 20% markup after being in contract for one. I canceled.
It's just "Link" no Q on the back
Thanks for watching.
100hp is not going to push that thing 38mph
Thanks for watching. It might not. That is what BRP says. We will try to test one some day on the water.
I was kind of surprised at that too. BUT for me that means there’s room to grow. Supercharger, tune and maybe different pitch impeller and will wake that boat right up.

Thanks for watching. I have not driven the 100hp. But I could see that being slow.
my parents ordered one the same day it came out and we still haven't received it and the 21" sport model, fully equipped, costs us $71,000
That's a silly price for a boat with no cabin, bathroom or kitchen. No?

Sure Jan
They should be slapped for paying 71k for a plastic pontoon! Holy crap.
