Hey Michelle, I love your work and this particular video. Moreover, I’m excited and looking forward to studying your other tutorial videos. In addition, I have a home machine shop where I invent things, and will be building a cool staff that you might want to check out when it’s finished, and no, I’m not trying to sell you anything, I just love inventing things and I though that you might like to see it when it’s finished being built. Thanks for doing a great job on breaking down your techniques for everyone to understand. 👌🏾

So I was trying this out in front of the television while watching this video and thinking:
    - This is easy! I rock this! Way to go, me!
Then I tried it out in front of a mirror and understood what you meant about the horizontal movement. This really takes up space and we do need a mirror. I'll have to learn it when I have more space or with my imaginary staff.

When I pass behind my back (with the half turn) I usually catch with the receiving hand *below* the other, instead of *above* the other like you show in this video. Is this a bad habit that I should break now before I get too many reps in? Or does it matter?
Also, when I pass above my head I usually snake my receiving hand around in front of my other wrist, instead of placing it behind the other hand like you show to. I get an extra half turn out of doing it my way, but is it okay to do? Or is it bad form?
Thank you! I love your videos!

I give it bit longer I not feelin it yet. How long does it usually take before it start working?
I'll go down asda, buy there crap food then I should be ready on way back up hill.
Thank you. I will comment again when I am master. Thank you.

I bet you don't read comments on old videos, but how tightly are you holding your staff?
Any attempt I make turns into relying on the index finger and thumb.
I have to assume you have much more range of motion to your wrists after doing this for 30 years. Is that the explanation?

Is staff spinning mainly for show, or like actual fighting?
Also, if you are spinning fast and all, what if a sort of professional knows when the staff is at its weakest grip and can hit the staff away, or disturb the rhythm?
