I can't state enough how helpful it is to see slo mo footage of something that involves intricate motion. Also, different angles can help, too. Thanks for all you do.
I've been doing that vertical flip for 20+ years (including multiple rotations), hadn't thought about the horizontal before as it's mostly just an absent minded fidgeting thing. I look forward to trying that out.

Wow, the first few seconds is so beautifully done, you can even hear it! I think even if I was blind I would hear that and think “someone just did something with a lot of finesse” 😆, i don’t know how to explain it but the sound of the roll etc it just sounds like it was done perfectly.
You are awesome at your craft the time and dedication put in has truly paid off i can't wait to get a bo staff and start practicing these skill i am practicing the art and skill of juggling and i was just watch this video of you teaching the keanu trick and i watch your form have you ever tried juggling

What length is the dowel that you use in this video? I followed your tutorial for a longer staff where you use a 4 ft one - might be just a tad long for me, I forgot to account for any height difference, but I'm figuring it out - and this looks like it would be fun to add to my collection. Thanks!
Just getting into fire spinning but I only know combat martial arts weapons skills. Nothing with flow. These tutorials have been absolute life savers to bridge the gap between "how to kill a bitch efficiently" and "this be real pretty but it's useless" lol. Thank you so much for giving us such a great resource.
Samuel Miller what would you rather see Disney plus do? A revan/kotor series or a bane series? Everyone always says revan, but I personally would rather see a darth bane one, it would set up a darth revan one really well in my opinion anyway because people who aren’t familiar with either would hear about revan in the bane trilogy and learn about him etc and it would set it up perfectly for the future. And I just overall love the bane story better, it’s like as “Star Wars explained” said about it- it’s almost as if it’s a breaking bad in Star Wars, because you see darth bane start off as nothing and work his way up etc, and it’s so well written too. Anyway what would you rather see? I’d be happy with either one though
I've always called the vertical version the Hammer flip... because working construction for a long time, I've seen more than one framing carpenter do it. So with that bit of information, I would call the horizontal version a 'Horizontal Hammer Flip'.

Is it possible to incorporate/ demonstrate how the exercise can be extrapolated into a defensive type routine/ move? Showing an extension of the exercise. Like the flash concept as it bewilders opponents. The what dah... moments.

It has people called the Maidens of the Spear. It's based on a book by Robert Jordan. I think you would be amazing in this.
1000 reps could be achieved in an hour once you get the rhythm. However I strongly recommend against all at once. Your brain will process it easier broken up over days/weeks, and it’s less monotonous
