Best thing, the MOST educational bit, was the bit of time at 5:30 where you showed a continuous spin in slow motion through several repetitions. I FINALLY got to actually SEE what you were doing. Having suffered 13 concussions in my life (about half from CQC), I can't "track" very well. I can't see fine detail in anything that is moving fast, can't even play music anymore cause I can't read it as fast as i have to play it. I CAN "lead" a target just fine, and am actually good at that, bit that isent the same as tracking a target. I have been trying for YEARS to understand how that obi/anni thing worked. Thank you. :)

Mara jade is part of legends and not apart of the new Disney Star Wars canon but I do agree that she should be in a new star wars movie like the old republic movies that were rumored.
I love the way you break all of the background moves down so that when you get quicker at them the real move comes out all by itself. Amazing! Much Love

I've mostly only spun around with 1 stick as a hobby of sorts, and invented a lot of personal moves and stances. I once had a recording of it that I was a tad proud of, which detailed each move/stance and their theoretical use. Their main use was to trick the hypothetical opponent, to land unexpected blow - Or a chain of blows with an unexpected twist.
"Professional badass" I think the term is war goddess... cause HOLY COW the skill you have makes my self trained mind go blank and my jaw hit the floor!

I am thinking of joining a lightsaber competition club, recommendations for a good general starter lightsaber (i have done fencing and hema in the past)
Get a basic Saber with just light, and a tsuba so that it will stop the blade from sliding all the way down yours and just hitting you/ scuffing up your Saber. Also, you'll need a heavy grade, thick walled 36" blade. I've seen many sabers break in duels at The Saber legion so function over form. Don't want to spend a ton of money to break your Saber. Hope I helped you out a bit. :)

I don't have my lightsaber yet so I used my broom, the balance is off though, but, this tutorial was so easy that I was able to grasp the principle and understand the technique and all the closest thing I have to "training" is the basic stance with holding a "lightsaber" ie broom in this case 😂 I am waiting for my lightsabers to be delivered soon! but the way you described drawing the neutral line and where the two meet and pass in space as well as how to pivot as you do the high low whip is very well explained. I'm awful at visualizations but I was able to "see" this line and I can picture myself in that line in relation to where I'll be holding my lightsaber once I get it. Great tutorial ! I am really stoked to learn so I can make my costume next year just as top tier as I can 😁 I want to have fun with it.
