One thing I feel could help some people, I find it more simple if I hold the hilt up near the blade so the weight of the hilt continues the spin plus it allows me to keep the spin more narrow and directed.
I tend to like that more than holding by the base, near the top = better spin control. Near the bottom = more overall control but less spin capabilities.
@Lou Charles which in the SW universe spinning is a major defense tactic and can be employed offensively as well so I feel like holding at the top is the best overall grip (let me be nerdy)

Why can’t we have people like her in the actual Star Wars movies.....directors...castors...producers....they need to watch more RUclips to find talent because big budget Hollywood actors not cuttin it.
Because in acting talent > ability to do stunts. Hire a great actor, then hire stunt performers to do the stunts or give your actors more time. Everything she shows here can be learned by a complete novice in a couple of weeks, days if you have any athletic ability, dance experience, and/or solid coordination. These spins might look hard, but they’re actually just foundational moves that are very low on the difficulty curve. Another consideration is that these move sets don’t translate into good fight choreography. That’s something entirely different and far harder.
