This bitch says super simple...i got 3 knots on my head and I'm pretty good with a bo staff...i thought I was. Btw im not calling you a bitch...i love you and your videos. Just hurt my pride a bit. DAMMIT.... knot number 4.
I still think doing the moves while nekkid would really help more I mean I have never done it before but I'm pretty sure after 3bnekkid lessons I would be the world champion, I'm just sayin?
Not to make it a sexist thing but im so glad that there are woman like you doing stuff like this, i think its amazing because your so use to seeing guys doing this stuff lol anyway your work is awesome bow staff is something ive definitely wanted to get back into so thank you for the tutorials!!
I had figured out the basics of staff manipulation years ago, but didn't progress overly far. Now almost a decade later these videos are opening up my interest once more. You just earned a subscriber.
Just started learning and absolutely loving your tutorials! Though I am slow, I can feel it all coming together as well with lots of practice. Well presented, clear and broken down brilliantly. Thank you!
You're amazing Michelle! All very beautiful, smooth, accurate movements. You make it look soooo damn easy! I need to train harder!! Thanks for the big inspiration, you rock. Wish you the best. :)
Muchas gracias por dedicar tiempo para enseñar a muchos de nosotros Master con lo que voy aprendiendo de UD lo estoy reforzando con lo poco que se de kungfu que dios me la bendiga y te has ganado un Padawan saludos desde México
so fortunate to have come across your training vids. i have purchased a light saber for my 46 year old step daughter and reccomended your tutorials as an add on. i see a very low impact yet high resulting aerobic program that she will enjoy doing and stay with. one that will achieve results in a minimum amount of time, ( after all, isn't that what todays fit concious woman is looking for? ). you are the "yoda" i have sent this young woman to see. thanx Darthtac. .
So, this week is gonna be chicken wing week. This and the backhand pass have been annoying me and have been half-assed about it. Need it tho, so no more of that, lol. 🙄
Literally my only critique is that you should demonstrate what it will look like at full speed before you start the demo. This is an amazing video, and I'm subscribed (just found you this morning), but that would make it easier to hook new people breezing by! In the first 60 seconds, they need to see the basic of the technique! Thanks a bunch!
Please don't mind me as i don't know what to call you whether Michelle,Christa or Smith, but honest to say you got some serious staff skills and I saw your all videos that's so cool without ignoring the fact the amount of hard work and dedication you put behind for that a great salute and respect from my end and I m learning some cool moves from your videos hope you don't mind on that. may have great life and be happy always as you're and keep inspiring us with your unlimited talent and kind heat.
Great video; so these drills are meant for dexterity, reflexes, and awareness with the bo correct? Not really for combat? I've recently started posting some go staff videos on my channel but I have no formal training.
Yes, they are meant to add style and texture to a bo practice. Definitely not useful in a real combative environment. But for those of use who don't fight for real, these skills are incredible at increasing neuromuscular functions.
May be it's just me cuz I don't see anyone else mention the same problem, but I find it very confusing when u don't demonstrate the move first. In some of your other vids u show the move first and then break it down and explain the components then show the move (at normal speed) again afterwards. I find those vids much easier to follow.
Magnificent!!! great to see you Michelle. Rizwan Here from Pakistan. keep it up and hope you have alots of success and students like me. You are doing it perfectly. PEACE :)
Question? When I switch hand my empty hand goes under my other arm as opposed to over like in your video. I just found that less cumbersome and flows a little easier, for me anyway. Love the videos! Great explanation and demonstration.
You explain it so clearly. Watching your videos has made me hit myself alot but I am learning and that's what counts. . love your videos. Wish you could actually teach me personally.
Best Teacher
Finally got the basic flow down. Stoked to next step it.
*Watching you do it slowly*
Me: "I can do that"
*watching you jump to light speed*
Me: *picks jaw up from the floor*

I'm having fun learning this stuff at 60+ Late Midlife? Bored? embarrassing? I do have to take care not to overstress my wrists.

Great video; so these drills are meant for dexterity, reflexes, and awareness with the bo correct? Not really for combat? I've recently started posting some go staff videos on my channel but I have no formal training.
*bo staff; autocorrect strikes again.
