    Knipex fan here.Not a spark but a plumber by trade .Knipex water pump pliers are the best out there and Are using the same set for over 10 years.. I have some Knipex bent nose pliers for electrical work which are excellent quality too.

    With Chrome plated pliers such as the Knipex. The cutting blade will take some time to wear in, as the chrome will wear off the blades edge. Once the chrome has worn off the blades edge the plier will be much sharper. This is done to substantially increase corrosion resistance.

    Don't know if you aware but you can get the knipex in 225mm as well. I have the knipex and the klein I've done a comparison on them on my channel, really like them both. I like my kleins more now as I blew the knipex up lol ooops

    Knipex and wiha are not lose out of package anymore,unfortunatelly had to buy all my stolen tools again so I had to spend my weekend loosening my new pliers,but I must say I like them better that way, it seems like rivets are tighter and jaws don't wiggle like they did on my old tools.

  • @willedgell6676

    I’ve been using the wiha and I hate them they are the bluntest plies I’ve used so far, being the channel locks and knipex.I don’t know if i just got a dull pier but have had a totally different experience than what you have said.

      @@AddictedtoTools tried to buy one here in the Netherlands. Dude didn’t had them in stock so he tried to order one with Channellock for me. They said it was discontinued.
      Pretty sad, I love the looks of the blue grips over the yellow/red ones. Blue is Channellocks colour after all.
      They also appear slimmer.
      Klein does a very similar one though, just orange (12098-INS) which I might look at.
      Still can’t get the hang of the way Aussie electricians strip multiple wires. I end up just breaking the cores.
      I use a knipex 02 02 225 at the moment.

      Yes, that’s correct.

    • @danstoolroom7700
      @danstoolroom7700 3 года назад +1

      No this is not correct they are all combination pliers. A linemans pliers has a far bigger head and is about 240 long. Easiest way to tell it sthe combi pliers have the bolt grip on them, a linemans pliers have the blades all the way along. Linemans also have far stronger blades with a far higher hrc rating aka you can cut screws and small bolts etc
