Probably my favourite fight scene out of many animes, just because of the map alone. No obstacles, no hinder, just pure freedom with a floor to reflect your actions and the heavens above to judge the victor.
I only wish vanishing step was animated better cause I believe (correct me if I’m wrong) Vanishing step is just controlling your character just out of sight of your opponent continuously while attacking them. If would have been so much cooler to see him constantly dodging around him while attacking instead of the camera randomly panning around while attacks come through.

@@silferbuu86 Well, when we talk about best battles I look to the greatest ones, not for the regular shit. Honestly speaking, I also can’t get, what have you been watching all this time, if you think so. Battles in this anime are smooth, but pretty boring. Absolutely sterile. I say this both as a fan of animation and as artist-animator too. They gives us no any thrilling feeling. You can’t see weight of the hits. There was no single moment, when you are twitching unconsciously, cause it looks painfully or difficult to bear. Seriously, I’ve seen much better battles even in anime not concentrated on battles at all. Like delicious simple fight between Makishima and Kogami in Psychopass. Shit, even in anime that are not very exciting by themselves (cause having troubles with plot), as God of High school, for example, you can at least see much better animates battles. Not to mention the battle-type masterpieces, like the battles of the first season Onepunchman or second season of Mob Psycho 100! Or daring experiments with 3D in Demon Slayer. Jujutsu Kaisen stands out among the newcomers of this season with excellent fights. I'm specifically talking mainly about fresh titles, trying to show that even if you don't dive into the classics, the choice is great. And in comparison with this palette, the battles here look like "meh, ok, not bad" - and nothing more.
gotta love how in S2 Excellent Era's president was talking about Ye Qiu not having flashy moves to compete with others but with 1 move everyone recognizes who was behind the keyboard. You shouldn't have fired Ye Qiu you needed to fire the team manager hiring people who only craved the top spot for themselves even if they didn't have what it takes.
nah, EE's owner fired Ye Xiu because he refuses to do anything with the Media, basically, the owner hates him because he didn't get those sponsorships he could've gotten if Ye Xiu shows himself. The Owner and the previous vice captain of EE sabotaged a lot of their team games before, after EE lost a ton of games, the owner finally have a good reason to kick Ye Xiu.
The poor guy had no chance to begin with. He lost even before the match started. Completely outmatched and outplayed from the start. The spectators after few moments realized that he was playing a God level player and were in for a treat .
This scene was a favorite. Imo the Netflix show did this scene the justice it deserved. It gets all the players blood pumping knowing he hasn't left and is as good as he always was.

Xena I mean she really dint take him seriously so I guess now she knows also probably cause his character he's mostly known as is being used by a trash player (or in the domain of the god players he's a trash player)
I read the novel currently way past the end of season one. gotta say, they had a lot of deviation this anime vs the novel (shao haotian, flowing tree how he got the orange level sword) (how ye xiu battled with zhang of tyranny twice, without and with han) but some of the jokes weren't changed like how he told chen the secret and replied that she's su mucheng too and repeated many times also steamed bun invasion was spot on (how noob moves he did, and how he likes to sing, and would I even forget what's our astrological sign?)
The anime changed a bit but nothing substantial. The live action is nearly 1:1 which i didn't expect going into it. All in all still very good and this story got me into litrpg
@@augury2699 Anime skipped some stuff but otherwise was good adaptation. Live action changed a lot of things including character backgrounds and personality. Its very far away from being 1:1.
@@Tiasung i said *nearly* for a reason. But i don't remember it being that far off in terms of personality. Ye Qiu was a bit different, kind of goofy. Shaotian was pretty accurate. So was Wei. I can't remember Tang Rou. As for skipping stuff every adaptation does that since true 1:1 is impossible across mediums
It is not a matter of execution it is a matter of setting up the situation where a hugely telegraphed move can be used and still hit in a PVP setting. If you saw the whole episode you would see that another person tried to pull off the same move but failed.
@@anthonyju6392 lol nah it ain’t, MC has studied the game religiously lol. I mean he’s the only player who can play so well he can dodge or parry undodgable attacks. Ive seen the anime several times and I’ve seen MCs skills and love for the game, he’s the kind of player that reads everything about every skill or weapon down to the smallest detail, he knew exactly how far back to move to dodge each attack, he knew exactly what perks and moves were overpowered together and he knew exactly when and how to chain his combos, of which the other pros and announcer praised him for, it was only when he did the special that the announcer asked for the player to be shown, because MC is the only person to have mastered the move to that extent(of which other pros have shown jealousy over). Either way my comment was just for laughs, I’m not saying the other players don’t know how to use the move at all, only that having watched the whole ep I know the reactions of the other pros and players(who btw literally said MC was the only person who could use the move like that).
Can't wait to see how the plot of the anime deviates from the source material and the live action. The LA has its own charm but fans of the source were NOT happy because they "butchered" it ( i only watch the anime so no comment) lols
I dislike the live action because of the changes from the surce material. I miss so many good and shameless moments but i have to admit, it has some very nice parts. But i have more complaints than good words for it. If you really like the story, i can only recommend reading the novel. Especially because live action and anime are missing some amazing characters.

1:35 I finally understand what this part means
An attack is seperated into hitbox and visuals, the scene with the flying X was showing that Ye Qiu lnew how far the hitbox needed to travel before the hitbox disappeared, leaving only the effect to pass through him.
That moment was so genuine! Anyone who's ever stepped in for someone in PvP or just tried out a game on some else's account and run into their custom-presets, LOL! This show is amazing! I truly hope it gets more seasons!
My dude just dominated and embarrassed the whole team by being a living legend to the fans
Finished the live action😍😍😍😍 So worth it🙌🙌🙌 So sad it ended😞😞😭😭😭😭
Cesia Sophia B. Vidal Omg they need to make a season 2 it was so damn good
IKR? I just discovered King's Avatar yesterday and binge watched it all the way today lmao. I WANT MORE SU MUCHENG AND YE XIU INTERACTIONS ;-;
@@amadeux5471 have u watched the movie version Kings avatar for the glory
I don't know if you know but they confirmed season 2 and Ye Qiu has been confirmed casted again for his role.
season 2 is on hold but its meant to becoming this year
Non, non, non. He isn't only an expert, my dear. He is actually a master, god when precisely said
This scene still makes my entire body goosebumps,
Ikr!
@@playerlina waiting for new latest episode👌
Gosh!!!!!! It really gives me chills!!! Still goosebumps wether this Anime or in drama played by YangYang!!! Ye Qiu's comeback 😍😍😍
The best esport novel/anime for me! Gosh! Been a fan of this works way back years ago and up until now 😘😘😘
I stop reading LN right around happy team will enter the rookie challenge.. because the live shows up.. but the anime is the real reason i learned about our god ye qui... This ep still gives me the goosebumps..
One of the novels that I finished in my teen years. King's avatar! Surely brings back memories 😊
The live action of this part of the story was kinda disappointing
Edit (6 months after) : To clarify, I was only referring to xiao Tang vs Du Ming / Ye Qiu vs Sun Xiang scene (episode 13) in the live action, not the whole thing. The live action itself was fine.
Agreed. The anime version makes ye qui more of a badass the fight scenes are a lot more thrilling that the live action.
Ikr, in the anime version he’s way more op.
Shut up, they were both good.
The whole live action is disappointing.
Ivan Islam they’re good, like the actor for Ye xiu was pretty handsome and good at playing as the calm Ye Xiu he’s meant to be, but the show? Ye xiu isn’t that stupid....
"WHO IS ON THAT STAGE!!!" was the BEST effing part!
This chinese animation as well as Fog Hill of Five Elements are both FOCKING BADASS ANIMES!!!!!
2:48 This scene gives me goosebumps every time.
This had the most epic battles I have ever seen in animation
Bro, actually, it sounds little sad :(
Or, maybe, good for you, cause it means you have so much supercool things to see in future...
/I don't say, these battles are bad, no, actually, they're pretty good. But the most epic?..No fucking way/
@@sungunner6244 I've seen good battles, but I really like the fast paced ones. That's what I meant.
@@sungunner6244 I've watched tons and tons of animies for the past decade and a half. Most animes don't compare to the animation of this one. Honestly speaking, idk what the hell you're talking about
@@HawkinaBox Oh, ok, I get it)
@@silferbuu86 Well, when we talk about best battles I look to the greatest ones, not for the regular shit.
And in comparison with this palette, the battles here look like "meh, ok, not bad" - and nothing more.
never watched the anime but i watched the netflix adaptation of this it was awesome and still is
2:03 THAT PIANO SOLO THO
This game so good the hitbox aren't boxes anymore
gotta love how in S2 Excellent Era's president was talking about Ye Qiu not having flashy moves to compete with others but with 1 move everyone recognizes who was behind the keyboard.
Nobody gonna mention how even more epic the bgm made the scene.
i watched this like 2 or 3 years ago and i loved it, im so glad theres more to do with it now
Anime name
This is the pro-gamer move that I adore
Came here from the live action, one of the best plots I’ve ever see.
Ah yes, a recommendation from youtube saying "People watched this video" : )
The poor guy had no chance to begin with. He lost even before the match started. Completely outmatched and outplayed from the start. The spectators after few moments realized that he was playing a God level player and were in for a treat .
MC:slightly moves his mouse
Everyone else : there's only person who can do that
This scene was a favorite. Imo the Netflix show did this scene the justice it deserved. It gets all the players blood pumping knowing he hasn't left and is as good as he always was.
What's the things name I can't find it
@@stevengoodsell6466 Bit late but the name's the same for the live action and the anime: The King's Avatar.
That moment the masses realize that their god had not only graced them with his presence, but proves that he is still worthy of said title.
I remember watching this when it got released d4mn i loved it :(
@@anonymous_1013 That's the ost after the season 1
Which epsd is this? I remember the 1st season art is different from this.
The best thing about this technique is that it is incredibly situational, and he doesn't even want to use it on purpose
My god this scene will never get's old im 101% sure
Its like meeting a pro in those old games that have OP keyboard movement once you master them
I remember how i was soo addicted at this anime in 2017.. now i'm 2023 it still gets me 🎉
Friend anime name please 😢??
Ooooh i love this anime and manga, i love to binge watch it ^^. The whole main character has a secret that everyone covets and praises yet nobody knows. Thats the kind of anime and manga i love to watch and this is the number one.🤧🤧🤩🤩🤩🤩😆😆😆😆
Oh How I wish Overlord can look this cool.
Yeah the comparison between the novel and the anime is like heaven and hell
overlord would be even 100-times better with this kind if a animation
Lol overload dont have people playing right? He already stuck inside the character so that not a good anime
Abdul Hakim tf are you talking about
Abdul Hakim huh?!?!
The OST at 2:20 still gets me so hype and goosebumps at the same time...
This is the part where that girl realized he is really ye xiu. I really want to read the light novel again after stopping midway
Xena I mean she really dint take him seriously so I guess now she knows also probably cause his character he's mostly known as is being used by a trash player (or in the domain of the god players he's a trash player)
I REMMEBER WHEN I FIRST WATCHED THIS A LONG TIME AGO. GREAT STUFF! IT MAKES MEWANT TO BE IN THAT WORLD AND PLAY THE GAME WHILE WATHCING TOURNAMENTS
Get goosebumps everytime I watch this
This anime so underrated and this moment is fire.
no one:
me: "Look at the skill, look at the moves, Ye qui what was that!*
i always get chills watching this fight
I read the novel currently way past the end of season one.
gotta say, they had a lot of deviation this anime vs the novel
(shao haotian, flowing tree how he got the orange level sword)
(how ye xiu battled with zhang of tyranny twice, without and with han)
but some of the jokes weren't changed like how he told chen the secret and replied that she's su mucheng too and repeated many times
also steamed bun invasion was spot on (how noob moves he did, and how he likes to sing, and would I even forget what's our astrological sign?)
it's only game.
It's funny how of all the things Ye Qiu did, it took her until now to realize that he was indeed Ye Qiu...
this scene makes me cry every time
Pls people this is a donghua this is not anime. Pls like
watching it after a long time as well this scene gives goosebumps
This one never get old xD😂🎉
I need to rewatch this series for the 7th time
after they release the full show on RUclips i have bin re watching it a ton xD
One of the few series that is good in both live action and animated. (the manhwa was good to obviously)
It's always epic when legends, kings or queens return and show them who's boss.
This is the best gaming anime of all time. This scene is soooooo hype
Eu amo tanto essa luta que perdi as contas de quantas vezes eu a assisti.
Qual ep e
Imagine being so good at a game, all the other players haven’t figured out how to move the mouse for some special attacks
LA is so good
I dislike the live action because of the changes from the surce material. I miss so many good and shameless moments but i have to admit, it has some very nice parts. But i have more complaints than good words for it. If you really like the story, i can only recommend reading the novel. Especially because live action and anime are missing some amazing characters.
