Duna's not too difficult to get to/from once you know what you're doing. I recommend installing MechJeb and using its maneuver planner to figure out the Duna transfer window.
to land on the most easiest is probably eve, as its atmosphere slows you down to essentially landing velocities at about 20km up. Getting back from it is more of a problem.
I love that all of your craft have their own unique look. Some KSPers stick to one particular style, which can get bland when it's the 20th delta-wing RAPIER ssto. But all of your different craft are unique and immediately recognizable.
This and landing in four oceans in one rocket has got to be the biggest flex I have seen in ages, the dude even went on a detour to minmus because he could. That's a flex.
Yodog678 Gaming same reason why youtube animated vids are not dependent on how good the art looks. Its more about what the video wants to talk about. The story, the tutorial, the commentary etc. also he seems kinda new in terms of when his youtube channel started. Give him time and he will get to places eventually
My god that was satisfying to watch. The launches, the staging and explosions, the camera angles, the sound effects, the music... I am truly blown away. This is fucking legit.
Yeah, every staging just looked awesome. The first one during ascend was .... Mindboggling cool.... thruster-cutout.... pause... BOOM :D And the second one was so damn awesome!
Video uploaded Jun 12, 2016. Today is January 16, 2018. I'm view number 47,000. Talk about criminally under-viewed channels. This channel is probably the most impressive KSP channel out there in my opinion. The uploads may not be frequent, but they are worth the wait for sure. I wish I could afford a patreon subscription, because I'd be spending a ton of money here.
what do you mean you wish you could be a patreon sub? the fact is that you say so but in don't care enough to subscribe... anyone can afford 3 or 10 dollars... you would just have to redirect money from some leisure like booze or fast food... hypocrisy at it's finest
Soo, the summary of this vid: Kerbin to duna to kerbin to duna to minmus to kerbin to duna to kerbin... wtf.. i cant even get to mun due to the lack of fuel i have and building more fuel tanks and engines just makes the rocket unstable and boom.. atleast i can get to orbit with an succesful satellite and back...
Duna does pose a bit of a challenge but with enough time it can be done also easier if you know how to dock. I really shouldn't be saying this because I haven't landed on duna myself.
wow, impressive stuff. I like how you used the new heat shields to help land the immense rocket. That was a good idea. I love your on-screen messaging style with the bleeps.
So, you wrote the title as Duna cubed (I don't know how to attach superscript) but it would be more accurate if it was Duna cubed + minmus, and boy do I love binomial titles, and this video!
This is the sort of thing that makes me wonder whether i will ever actually be "good" at KSP but great job! this also the crazy crap that makes KSP what it is! keep up the good work =]
Damn dude, its just too much. I build vessels for single trips and really i can't keep my stages with such HUUUUGE creations, let alone action groups. Insane. Subbed yesterday, fucking worth it even though this is old.
Thanks Marex333! I've got so many more ideas on the back-burner that I want to get to. However, I think I'll take a break before I get back into it: This video consumed all my free time for the past two weeks!
Did not know what the cubed meant at first. Thought you were just going to Duna and back. I was so unimpressed, then after you took off again I was like okay he's going again, that's pretty impressive. I'm watching and then you take off AGAIN, and I was like three times no way. Mind blown.
No joke, this is unironically how my first Duna ship looks. Since it's always like early-mid game in science/campaign mode, I don't even attempt rendezvousing and instead land a massive hunk on the surface and back.
Comes back from Duna Jeb: Shit, I left my watch Comes back from Duna again Jeb: Shit, I left my camera on Minmus Comes back from Minmus Jeb: Shit, I left the soil samples on Duna Comes back from Duna yet again Jeb: Shit, I left the- Mission control: No.
How do you only have 600 subs! Quality video! Im surprised you didn't used NERV rockets. Any reason for that other than them being heavy and having a low TWR?
Thank you! I didn't use NERVAs because I wanted to limit myself to only chemical engines. Also, I wanted to stress test KSP 1.1 so building the biggest rocket I could was a major goal.
Startzenblitz75 I once saw someone do a double jool-5 mission... I think you can beat him, by doing a TRIPLE jool-5 mission, in fact I challenge you to do it, and only chickens back down from challenges, are you a chicken? *chicken noise*
Man you are the true KSP pro. At first i though 'y u need so big rocket'. Then i realised... 3 launches to duna. DAAMN MAN. Also, i discovered what happened in 2:05 , i know doubt the meaning of life and humanity... Great vid, as always
Thanks! :D I too, had my existence questioned by that 'thing'. In fact, I've seen many more just like it (some are even worse). It is because of those accursed 'things' that I am now deeply paranoid, afraid that my reality will torn asunder at any moment. The only way I can cope is by hiding those 'things' deep inside my videos, for that poor, inquisitive soul (Thats you!) to find them. This is the only way to share my struggle. It is the only way to share my pain.
That was awesome, nice job!
Hi Matt!
Competence >:(
Matt Lowne OMG your my fav youtuber!!!! hello!
hey matt, do the same thing, so far only 2 youtuber done that, but this one kept heat turning on while another (TGA) turn off heat, be the third
hello matt
Hazard-ish: To the mun and back 3 times in a single launch!
Startzenblitz75: Hold my beer...
bornholm55 My beer can do this, hold me
hold my snacks
I expect Startzenblitz even managed it without infinite fuel!
I was waiting for this :P
elgemin he proved that it was in fact doable however he didn't realize he left it on and there was an interview of him explaining that
I have to stop watching KSP videos.... I keep right clicking the screen to rotate the view.
Bone Hacker i do that too...
I press "." and "," when I want to skip a bit foward or backward on ksp videos
Dultimate Gamer they should make a website for Ksp videos and that be a option lol
Jack Heidelberg-Tillotson yah I guess lol...maybe if Ksp stays relevant long enough I’ll get the skills and do it!
I always do that
That first stage separation…
fpm1979 Like a boss
*detonation
Slightly precarious. Not mission threatening or anything like that.
BOOM
Can't be a KSP video without so many explosions your computer wants to commit toaster bathtub
Nasa should take notes.
*on how to kill a small country
@@rithvikyagnamurthy6560 LMFAO I'M WHEEZING
Minestars Dnr you mean spend the annual income of a small country on a relatively insignificant task?
Only if there budget was larger
5:17 That ship is raving to the jam!
I'd be lucky to get Duna^1.
Duna's not too difficult to get to/from once you know what you're doing. I recommend installing MechJeb and using its maneuver planner to figure out the Duna transfer window.
It isn't hard, in fact it's probably the easiest planet to land on
@janeI wouldn't advise using mechjeb planetary transfer as it's normally not working......
@meep : not if your flying an airplane
to land on the most easiest is probably eve, as its atmosphere slows you down to essentially landing velocities at about 20km up. Getting back from it is more of a problem.
Mr Penguin imo a moon lander with a bit more dV would work
I love that all of your craft have their own unique look.

how does this guy have only 5000 subs? He makes Scott Manley look like an intern XD

Edward Dizon you weren’t lying,1 year later 32K subs
Getting to 33K now
Especially now that Scott Manley is trying to be a discount veritasium
Sfs Aviation 75k

I love how the only time this gargantuan vehicle jitters isn't in flight, but instead is when it is landed

this channel is downright art.
No one cares if you’re the 47,000th viewer

160 something thousand views now, still criminally underrated. Greetings from dec 6 2022
that ullage motor coming in clutch on the third landing :)
Jeb needed an ice cream break, so he went to Minmus
Everyone needs an ice cream break once in a while, including the toughest of astronauts.
That artistic audio spiking-esque sound from the first song meshed rather nicely with the engine noise.
Nice touch.
Berkay Kaya I can see you like asdfmovie... :)
yus i do
Just use autostrut and boom, no more wobbling
You'll get there. I just got my first duna landing at 74 hours in
Duna does pose a bit of a challenge but with enough time it can be done also easier if you know how to dock.
I really shouldn't be saying this because I haven't landed on duna myself.
The kerbal way of figuring out how to get off the ground is...
"Should we just add more rockets?"
i see the first stage decommission was almost instant after separation ... good job for kerbin environment! :D
When you keep forgetting your tools on kerbin
a huge amount of effort goes into these. subcribed! this is awesome.
Thanks man! I hope you enjoy your stay on my channel.
:}
Me: How can anyone do three journeys to Duna and back in a single mission???
Stranzenblitz: We have some extra fuel - let's go to Minmus!
beat that SpaceX
Well SpaceX's aim is to bring down cost of launches not put all of mankind's budget into one rocket.
Underrated comment
really makes you think when you can't actually manage to get to duna and come back
...Just spent 10 minutes trying to see what that thing at 2:05 was. Incredible. You got me like 5 years after this came out.
wow, impressive stuff. I like how you used the new heat shields to help land the immense rocket. That was a good idea. I love your on-screen messaging style with the bleeps.
old but gold
wow..... It's been a while since the I have seen such KSP craziness,
Awesome design, planning, production and music.. Keep it up
So, you wrote the title as Duna cubed (I don't know how to attach superscript) but it would be more accurate if it was Duna cubed + minmus, and boy do I love binomial titles, and this video!
You're a genius Stratzenblitz, I love all of what you make
Thank you :D
This is the sort of thing that makes me wonder whether i will ever actually be "good" at KSP
but great job! this also the crazy crap that makes KSP what it is! keep up the good work =]
AKA how to initiate Kessler syndrome in one launch
You are a madman
You used the kodiak!!!! A RUclipsr actually used the kodiak. Totally my favorite under appreciated engine
Damn dude, its just too much. I build vessels for single trips and really i can't keep my stages with such HUUUUGE creations, let alone action groups. Insane. Subbed yesterday, fucking worth it even though this is old.
Well done! :)
Hope to see u more ;)
Thanks Marex333!
I've got so many more ideas on the back-burner that I want to get to. However, I think I'll take a break before I get back into it: This video consumed all my free time for the past two weeks!
Man this is unreal. I think this is the best one I've seen of yours.
This is one of the most badass things I've seen in KSP
Easter egg at 2:05 what’s the code mean?
It’s a video link....the hell?
Парень, это просто невероятно! Отличное музыкальное сопровождение! Великолепный монтаж! Браво!
1:58 it wouldn’t be Kerbal without something exploding
Stage detonation
Did not know what the cubed meant at first. Thought you were just going to Duna and back. I was so unimpressed, then after you took off again I was like okay he's going again, that's pretty impressive. I'm watching and then you take off AGAIN, and I was like three times no way. Mind blown.
**random explosions**
Stratenblitz: EVERYTHING IS UNDER CONTROL!
Secret message at 2:05.
No joke, this is unironically how my first Duna ship looks. Since it's always like early-mid game in science/campaign mode, I don't even attempt rendezvousing and instead land a massive hunk on the surface and back.
A fucking nuclear explosion for decoupling stages hell yeah
This dwarfs my 1,700 ton Eeloo direct rocket.
You can choose the direction of the flag. It points to where your Kerbal is facing!
Thrust: 324 Mega-Newtons. What a ridiculous number. This is amazing.
4:06 Oh the wonders of vertically landing your first stage and this happening to you while your second stage kindly coasts into the atmosphere.
Comes back from Duna
Jeb: Shit, I left my watch

Do you think you could try an ONLY mk.0 parts to orbit? (bonus if you go anywhere else)
0.625 meter parts.
ahahahaha good luck
That was the most bad ass separation stage ever
When you check whether you turned off the iron at home
Meanwhile I have trouble even getting to Duna and have no hope of ever returning.
this my favourite ksp channel
What's that at 2:05
I think subs and views are inversely proportional to quality
Love your work Stratzenblitz
This looks like the size of my first rocket to minmus.
I had to come back and watch this again. I love it!
How do you only have 600 subs! Quality video! Im surprised you didn't used NERV rockets. Any reason for that other than them being heavy and having a low TWR?

Stratzenblitz75 u mean, ur computer stress test
Now THIS. THIS is god-tier
Startzenblitz75 I once saw someone do a double jool-5 mission... I think you can beat him, by doing a TRIPLE jool-5 mission, in fact I challenge you to do it, and only chickens back down from challenges, are you a chicken? *chicken noise*
So this is where Jool Infinity was born.
wow. in every way, this was stunning.
when you ejected the airbrakes and took off while they were still falling was so gud
Thats some good cinematic ksp vid right there
Love the Kerbal staging lol
Can you recreate your reusable eve mission but for duna cubed?
nice video
nice music
nice pictures
I can't believe that's possible. Love the music!
Man you are the true KSP pro. At first i though 'y u need so big rocket'. Then i realised... 3 launches to duna. DAAMN MAN.

What is it ?????
At first there was a bewilderment. Then he was surprised. And in the end - the rapture!
Back when I was a noob I would make rockets like this just to reach orbit
Relatable.
Is it just me, or did 4+ asteroids hit Kerbin during the transition between Kerbin and Duna at 1:27?
Some very creative staging.
well that’s ONE way to biome hop
Damn man you are amazing!
I don't know if you were just lucky or if the explosions were planned and you just made that thing durable as hell.
this would have wrecked my poor computer. awesome video
Videos like these is the reason I use youtube
Alright time to go to duna... Wait, forgot something.. Alright NOW to duna and back.
You blow my mind!
1:20 that shot is A M A Z I N G
I was just waiting for the command pod to magically lift up and fly to duna
Wtf !!! This is juste awesome xD Good job man !
Why not SSTO ? it could allow infinite number of roundtrips
This is madness.
Glad I found this channel.
explosive staging ftw
The first launch stage is like shifting up a gear on a car. It only goes faster.
Y U DO DIS? Stop being so good at this.
In the first second in the zoom in, my first thought was: god help these kerbal.
Unlike Jake paul this guy has good content so why doesn't he have more subscribers. he's is way better than Jake that's for sure
1:20 :0 that sound
H
Eve and back 3 times.
U r insane. Great video, watched from A to Z.
This inspired me to make a Challenge, i call it "Once is NOT enough challenge"
Masterpiece
you're crazy for this one
You can fly on Duna whith the eva RCS?
I must say... Nice job
