- I always told myself that I would never straight pipe my BMW 335i but then, I did it anyways. You see, owning an E93 BMW 335i has been quite challenging for a car guy like me because of the limited aftermarket support available for it. The E92 (coupe) and E90 (Sedan) get plenty of love while the convertible variant gets pushed to the side. I recently installed the VRSF Street exhaust onto my 335i and and loved it but there was one issue. The fitment was challenging. Today I try out the VRSF Race Exhaust in hopes that it fits properly, without it being too loud! This is my daily after all. Spoiler: It's Way TOO LOUD!

I knew it was an insane difference afterwards without the muffler because I watched this video with headphones on and with the muffler on after you let off the throttle, I could hear the HKS bov sound, but without the muffler, danggg, all i could hear was that awesome VRSF straight pipe and not the Bov this time🤣❤

lol this same thing happened to me but by accident, on my 135i I run a pretty loud exhaust already, VRSF Cartless DP, secondary cats removed, just a Remus muffler, one day the coupling between the catback and middle piece came loose so was basically full straight pipe, at first thought it was another car then realised it was me lol, the loudest thing I ever heard and felt

@@VehicleVirals Yeah, the same thing happened with my F01 when the muffler came off. The rasp and drone wasn't worth it. Not sure if anybody found a cure for that on the N54 yet.

Hey! I know this is weird but I really need your help. I got a 335i & when I turn the car on it has a clunk sound every 8/10 times. I’m not sure if that’s normal, but I think when you started the car in the beginning of the video I head the same sound... is that normal? I’m not sure what it could be but it sounds/feels like it’s where the trans meets the engine. I’m not sure tho would love to hear if you have that sound too.
I was on the fence about straight piping my e92 😍 doing it. soo much better in my opinion than the last set up. was good but tame in my opinion 🤷♂️

I got an f30 daily I put 2k/month miles on but I’m bout to cop a e92 335i for the side, going to do all the maintenance at home before I push it and start modding. Probably my favorite 3 series chassis, plus that n54.

@@Th3Rafwarrior bro they’re not going to like you 😂 Its so damn loud especially at 7AM but it sounds so good. You can always turn on cold start noise reduction in the MHD app so its not as loud for as long

When I bought mine a month ago, I didn't realize that it was straight piped (I think I still have secondary cats). My neighbors probably hate me now😂. I miss my e39 540i, RIP, but this car makes me giggle every time I drive it. Now, to get rid of that wastage rattle...

Dude, THIS is the best decision YOU have ever made. I'm talking about the vrsf race exhaust. THAT is my next mod I am buying for my e92. Plus you made me laugh SO hard that you said it was 3.5mm. Imagine a 3.5mm exhaust system. You can barely fit your pinky finger in there.

Yes, I used to have a muffler delete with the stock pipes and the sound is much better with this unit.

Yes. Or you can buy the muffler delete portion by itself if you already own the street version.

Used to have the street exhaust and didn’t really care for the quality or sound. It droned on my N55e in low Rpms and was almost muted when wot. Just made the switch to the bmw Mpe. Best move I made in a while. No drone but way louder than vrsf street under wot. Also there’s way too much chatter in the interior with vrsf. Never really fit my xdrive system as well.

Sounds awesome, but I think my Heidi might give you a run for the loudest. Turn off Cold Start in your tune I did after hearing it for the first and last time. Not just loud, but not pleasant either. mine sounded just like that. I run no cold start and the roar tune. Works pretty good.

Does your exhaust have a weird offset, like one muffler tip I’d sticking out further than the other, and I’m having a rattling sound on the right side, might be the heat shield or possibly placement?
The fitment for the tips aren't 100%. I did get them adjusted since this video though, so they are both of equal length now.
As far as rattling, i noticed the merger pipe was rubbing up against a metal bracket up front. I bent the bracket and the rattle is gone.
