- For the sake of experimenting, I decided to convert my straight exhaust system on my E90 BMW 335i to one that has a muffler. Having a loud setup can be fun, but sometimes a bit annoying. In theory this change should make the driving experience less obnoxious especially when cruising at higher speeds. The best part is, that you can always switch between the loud and quieter variations in a matter of minutes, giving you the ultimate flexibility.

I had a VRSF race muffler (muffler delete) on my 335i F30 and the fitment was kinda bad and it was blowing my eardrums out, so I ended up switching to an AWE cat back system. It was expensive as hell, but I do not regret it.

Maybe I’m old, but I got rid of my ATM exhaust which is similar to the VRSF race exhaust except with an added resonator. I got a valved exhaust which gave me the best of both worlds

Single turbo 335i owner here and I have the vrsf race exhaust with the resonator and man the drone is so annoying on the highway speeds in the city it’s not even noticeable no drone but highway is annoying I’m going to definitely try this setup! The only thing worried about is I have a e92 m3 rear bumper and muffler shop had to mod the rear end idk if it’ll be possible to mod the piping enough with the muffler guess we’ll see
Race with resonator is the best . Bmw performance with n55 midpipes is also nice

I would love to get the vrsf system for my 135 that came out this year but everyone on the forums that bought it has had horrible fitment issues and couldn't get it to work without major modifications. Vrsf has already refused a few refunds or offered partial refunds for them. There are only three reviews on the website and all of them say that the fitment is good though and if I was able to just blow 800 bucks on an exhaust that might fit I would but I don't feel like having to modify an exhaust that should fit perfectly out of the box.
Berk or Black Market Racing are our only real options I believe, BMR is so nice but very expensive

How's the under carriage clearance with that 3.5" piping? It almost looks like your hangers are broken.

I like how quiet my stock exhaust F10 sounds. Even my friend who rolls with me in his Tesla 3 is surprised my my Bmer's performance and stealth.

@@luciengutierrez431 go to my Paige and click videos it should be the top one. “Having some fun in the snow” but yes I am on twins I’m upgraded twins 19ts the craft race is a 3.5in exhaust and my resonator is a mid sized can resonator just a random cheap brand but sounds beautiful

Why you missing the rear center brace under the car? Does it make any difference not having it.
The exhaust plate? It's only there to protect it. With my setup it doesn't fit, and I didn't want to put spacers.
Mine fit. I literally trim about a ¹/4 inch arch in it and it bolted right up. No vibration or anything

Not really. It's relatively quiet to be honest even with downpipes.

I drove for 9+ hours with that kind of drone when going on vacation. Let's just say you get very annoyed of it really quickly but after a while you don't care anymore and you'll get used to it, just driving for shorter periods at a time it's still annoying

my 335i has 4" dump out the hood straight off the g42-1450 and dual wastegate screamers that tie into the hood exit. thats the only real way to run exhaust on these cars. lol
The exhaust sounds way better WITH the muffler. A deeper sound.
I can’t wait to get the muffler for this exhaust system, I’m new to bmw and I gotta say it sounds like total shit with the auto having it 3.5” straight through aside from the terrible exhaust note this e90 of mine is tits!
