Same with my dad... never was around to even ridicule me.. absolutely absent. Only met him once and I didn't even know he was my dad until my mom told me when we drove off....

It's best not to have no friends at all because alot of people nowadays don't know what true friendship is

Ash, you’ve done so well and learnt so much - you’ve sucked up those DBT skills like a sponge! You’d actually make a really good therapist if you decided to go down that path in the future. Keep up the great work!

I also have BPD 😥 relate to your story a lot. I’ve gone from arts to real estate - and now I want to move on again.

You have inspired me so much and you’re absolutely gorgeous! I haven’t been diagnosed w/ BPd, but I have bipolar, ptsd and major depression with symptoms of bpd. Seeking help now. I just want to say thank you! And to keep creating videos like this as they help me out words to my thoughts and feelings. ❤❤❤❤

My dad is also absent from my life and was absent in a lot of ways throughout my childhood. Me and my sister had to cut him out of our lives many years ago because of some traumatizing things that he did that he wouldn’t admit to doing. It’s very very difficult to lose a parent because it’s a part of you that always feels “missing” you know what I mean? Healing from that takes a lot of time and it isn’t always a one and done deal, so I can really empathize with you Ashira. I am so sorry your father made you feel like you don’t deserve to be in this world because you are such an open and honest and beautiful person inside and out. Like my therapist says to me, YOU ARE A TRUTH TELLER! ♥️

Yes. Today I went onto Instagram and saw that someone I used to live near had just given birth to their second child and I had two feelings the first was happiness for her and her family and it morphed into, why can't I have this? Why aren't I good enough for this experience? And more along those lines.
I have a Son, a wonderful, amazing, sweetheart of a boy who I love more than anything, I feel I've failed him for not keeping his family together and being able to give him siblings the way I wanted.
Things went sideways from the day I found out I was pregnant and I'm still processing/healing.
Sorry for the rant it's just nice to know I'm heard/that I'm not the only one

I'm really grateful as well that I found one of your videos and landed on this one. There is some really great advice that I need to remember. I'm on my own journey right now with my mental health and loneliness is one thing I am struggling with, even with friends and family I am still finding the fact not everyone understands or knows what to do lonely and I rely on others too much. I need to really learn some self-worth and self-love. Thank you so much for sharing your perspective. I am 42 but it still applies at my age too. ❤

You really helped me with this video, I’m glad I came across it. You’re not alone! You are so loved and special! You are beautiful inside and out queen! And I know you’ll find your group of people when the time is right, I find it helpful to pray to God to choose the people that I should be surrounded by because it sure is better to be alone than in bad company. So we just have to be careful who we become friends with as well!

You want friends, first learn to be friendly
If you want love, learn to be Lovable
