Hold up, did Uryu use The Antithesis to transport Yhwach out of the cage? This episode DOESN'T LET UP. Time to watch it again! What did you think of episode 24 of TYBW and its insane flashback? Let me know in the comments!
It looks like that is what Uryu did after the Blut Vene appeared in his eyes and Yhwach threw the medallion (not the one that sealed Zanka no Tachi). Definitely an expansion of Uryu’s Schrift beyond what was shown in the manga.
I think so, he did something with his medallion and seemed to have transported to Yhwach. Super interesting
I love that we got a sneak peek at Ishida's shrift
That's sort of what I thought. If you know One Piece, it reminded me a lot of Law's Room technique where he can swap the places of any objects in a set area or "room."
It was absolutely different than what I expected and I’m glad. Things left off with the 0 division in the cage with the royal guards and ichibei faces off with juha. The next episode is going to be insane! We could get a back and forth fight between the trapped royal guards and juha vs ichibei.
I feel like it's becoming a running gag for the anime to add extra scenes for Robert just to make him more miserable, and I'm loving it
his schrift is N: neverending suffering
Robert: Sternritter “N”, the Neutered.

The Yhwach and Ichibei meeting is easily the best part of this episode imo. What a very insane interaction
Agreed. Only 4 minutes long and it changes, explains and expands so much about the lore. I had a gigantic grin on my face the whole time.
*of the core. There fixed that for you
for the manga readers..
Completely insane. Never thought we'd get that

That was absolutely Uryu's Antithesis that let let Yhwach escape. These episodes keep getting better. I can't wait for next week.

@@rgboyshares_7137Also a similar situation that started the “Sasuke Retrieval Arc” at the end of OG Naruto to where Sasuke left Konoha and joined The Dark Side (of that time)
Or maybe somehow Haschwald used his balance to make bad fortune being in that cage of life and turn it into fortune in this case so Yhwach could escape from it.
The flashback that showed Ichibei and Yhwach was something VERY MUCH NEEDED. I’m glad that the cut content was put to good use in terms of the space needed to include this.

I am so happy to finally fully understand Yhwach's motive. Imagine you born like Yhwach and subconsciously take people's soul, and you are feeling the endless amount of knowledge, regrets, pain and suffering mentally. This is more than a mere emphaty. This episode made Yhwach one of the greatest villains to me.
The way I understood it, what really fucked Yhwach up was how he got to experience everyones fear of death. Since sick people used him to live longer from when he was a baby he has been constantly bombarded with that feeling for thousands of years probably.
@@Dragonpuncher123 Now that you talked it, people do have been using him since he was a baby. Imagine you're not even three months old and you're already being bombarded with so much sorrow, regret, pain before you can even understand what it means. Also Yhwach was born limbless and without eyesight wasn't he? So his entire world was literally pitch black void, no sound and no feeling other than these thoughts of pain and suffering. That's dark af
@@Dragonpuncher123wym he got to experience everyone's death? My airhead ass is confused I'm sorry
Yeah. But the real question is why the world was divided into three worlds? And why is Ichibei trying to prevent that from happening again?
@@gabrieldossantos1116 It’s crazy dark. You definitely understand why he is ready to essentially nuke it all back to the stone age. Seeing his dad’s mutilated corpse being used to hold this world together probably just confirmed his beliefs.
"Where, in one of these three worlds can one find peace?"
This line from Yhwach is perfect. As a manga reader I always kind of understood what his goals were, but this sentence is great to put it all into perspective. He is right.
All three of the worlds that you can inhabit during the cycle of life and death can be horrible existences in their own right.
The world of the living, which is still the best one, is in many regions plagued by war, illness and poverty. Especially over 1000 years ago. In this world you always have to work and struggle for food, shelter etc to stay alive.
If you die you often go into the Soul Society where in more than 99% of cases you are a poor individual living separated from your loved ones somewhere in the Rukongai for eternity.
And being in Hueco Mundo, as a Hollow or not is also a constant fight for one's survival in a dark and empty world inhabited by killers.
on point bro, the philosophy of this Anime is astounding
You don't live in the soul society for eternity, first of all. You get reincarnated as soon as you let go. Secondly, you don't feel hungry or cold in the soul society (99% of souls don't), so it's not exactly "poverty" if you don't need anything. Third, if you the kind of person who won't let go of your previous life for eternity than you have more than enough time to find whoever you want. You do understand that your view of this is somehow missed the most basic things explain very early on?
@@ashyroy9454 you don't reencarnate, hell chapter explaing souls become the "soil" (part of) soulsociety, all the thing about reencarnation is fake.
@@ashyroy9454yes you get reincarnated, but with reincarnation memory is lost. So your soul being recycled doesn't put "you" as a person back on earth. It is effectively the end of your journey if you let go.
And yes you don't need food and water in the Soul Society, that's why I only mentioned it in the "World of the Living" experience. That doesn't change the fact that the Rukongai has been shown to be a horrible place to live a ton of times. Violence, multi-class societies, the Rukongai is not an enjoyable afterlife whatsoever
@@ashyroy9454 "it's not exactly poverty if you don't need anything"
We saw the rukongai a thousand times. It is said literally all the time that a lot crimes occur down there and the poor districts are a hell-hole of gangs and brutality. Also in the Rukia and Renji flashbacks they literally say that despite not needing it people without spiritual pressure still eat food and drink water just to feel the taste. I mean what else are they going to do? They don't have literally any technology that we have, and the only time we see phones or even something remotely like that is within the Sereitei. Also you still remember everything about your previous life but hey, now you're separated from everyone you've even known. The whole "you got more than enough time to search for them" is bs, there is no map, no communication device, no government ID, literally nothing. You expect them to just wander with no money or knowledge in a place plagued by gang wars until they hopefully by sheer luck find someone? Lol. There is literally feck nothing to do there other than wait until you reincarnate and even then you just forget everything about who you where and get to live another life and die again and come back to this shit place.
I saw some people speculating that Ichibei not only has Pernida, but ALSO MIMIHAGI. He uses his right arm to stop the bullets from the quincies. And as we know, Mimihagi is "stillness".
Shouldn't it have fallen down ages ago tho? And if it didn't, how did it get down?
@@yoruichi_feet_loverit probably still did, just in the future. the meeting was a thousand years ago
I can completely see him purposefully sealing Mimihagi down in Soul Society to manipulate it into growing fond of the world so he'd be willing to protect it if the soul king was ever destroyed
Nah, you can actually see he's using his brush.
Ye that was his brush, you can see the stick if you pause and the flower-like end of kt is the bristles opened up.
Kirinji: So, how did the meeting go?
Ichibei: It went fine, no problems at all.
One invasion on Soul Society later
Ichibei: Totally fine.
😂😂😂😂
To be fair, Yama dealt with the first invasion, so Ichibe might actually be sitting there thinking "totally fine" lol
I appreciate that this finally explained why Yamamoto was able to defeat Yhwach with the Almighty: because he didn’t have the almighty due to Ichibei’s interference!
Yep, this is huge.
Still doesnt explain why is Ywach invading the soul society 3 days before regaining AM instead of... just waiting 3 more days tho
You said he defeated yhwach w the almighty only to say he didn't have the almighty?I'm so confused 😭
@@tartopomme8946 the second or first invasion?
During the first invasion the shinigami were on high alert, every second the sternritter gave them was a second used to shore up their defences/call ichigo and we saw what a barely standing ichigo did.
For the second invasion they had to force ichigo down so he could open the way to the soul Palace.
In any situation time was of the essence and getting to the soul kings Palace the number one priority
He did not had it . @@Young_Ruckus
@@Young_Ruckusim assuming they meant back when the manga was running ppl were speculating how yama managed to beat yuha if he had the almighty (which it turns out he didnt)
I always liked how good the elite sternritter's comradery was compared to the basic sternritter. You even have lille being able to completely understand what Perninda is saying when others can't. Hinting at lille being the closet Quincy to god. Also how gerard talks to the other members in straight forward cheerful way. I think when oetsu killed lille, perninda was mad that his fellow elite died as in you killed my friends. I kind of wish they had kept the part when gerard tells lille to move senjumaru corpse in way of yhwach, and lille asks perninda for a hand. Such a refresher compared to the basic sternritter who are always backstabbing each other.
That scene is kinda funny in retrospect because Lille literally tells Pernida to lend him a hand.
So Yhwach was able to escape the cage because Uryu used The Antithesis. You see Uryu warm up with Blut earlier on when the rescue team are talking about him, and he’s also the only one who’s composed while everyone else is in shock. Figured I’d let you know; also Ichibe had Pernida AND Mimihagi, that’s how he deflected the girls bullets
That went over my head thanks for the clarification.
@@MrLordvoldemort101 wemt over my head too lol had to rewatch it, so much hidden gems lol
But could that be contradicted about Yhwach and Jugram didn't know about Uryu's power just like in manga?
@@Dissidia144Jugram probably still doesn't know Uryu's power. Uryu didn't make it obvious that he was using his Schrift and Jugram looked surprised by what happened
I was wondering what was up with his expression when even Haschwalth was shocked. Kinda love seeing Uryu in on a plan and teasing his Schrift there, so glad he's getting some expanded stuff!
If nothing else just the fact that they explained how Pernida got to Yhwach and why tf Yhwach didnt use the Almighty earlier is alredy huge. Love the reiteration on The Almighty being unable to see the future of things related to the Soul King. Also that scene or Ichibei holding the remainder of the Soul King is ominous as hell, makes you really think if at the end of the day Ichibei didn't orchestrate all that just to be the one actually in power. Love the tease on Uryu's schrift there, really think they're makeing the right decision in foreshadowing The Antithesis and The Balance way earlier and with much more emphasis, they are quite a bomb to interpret and understand when they're revealed at the same time mid battle lol.
Was yhwach born with the Almighty ?

Can we just appreciate that this quincy had a machine gun 1000 years ago? Like damn she was really ahead of the times.
I know they can just summon things but… yeah it breaks the moment a little xd
Wouldn't be surprised if the Quincy came up with guns ages ago and decided to mainly stick with bows and arrows so other spiritually-aware humans wouldn't notice the designs and get any stupid ideas. (Plus Hueco Mundo Uryu could shoot 1200 arrows in a few seconds with a bow, it's not like they're limiting themselves.)
@@ThermiteKittywe could assume that because there's another faction of quincies like soken ishida that don't abhor to yhwach's plan and ideology, and just stay to traditional methods like having just bow and arrow and having letz stil and not vollstandig

I love the new added scenes, it also explains how Yhwach got Pernida. I also love how the backstory is in black and white kinda foreshadowing Ichibei's powers and we all know how much Tite Kubo loves his black and white metaphor, he put the quincy's in angelic white robes while the Shinigami's are all dressed in black, love these small details!

@@Young_Ruckusim not sure myself but i think it was when yhwach was holding ichibe’s hand during the first scene

@@Official_RetroMania 🤯 thanks for explaining bro that's crazy asf
@@Young_RuckusTo further explain, Yhwach was using some sort of Blut Vene Anhaben or Sankt Altar technique to try and steal Pernida, but in return for taking Pernida, Ichibei sealed Yhwach's Almighty.
Yhwach looks like he's crying with the blut in the meeting.
Also, Ichibei having both arms of the SK and losing one could be the why he lost the other one.
My heart started beating like crazy when the meeting between Ichibei and Yhwach changed the tone and Yhwach’s sternritters started attacking Ichibei. It was such a hot mess in the best way possible, you could literally feel the tension in your very bones.
That’s what war is all about: tension.
I also really enjoyed the little background for Pernida and how he joined Wandenreich. He’s my favourite member of The Schutzstaffel.
The meeting at the beginning just added so much to yhwachs character and context that was really appreciated! Kubo is going absolutely crazy with this adaptation!

The fact that kubo and the animation team are adding much needed content and altering things in the story is just awesome. I love the fact that being a manga reader we are now entering the unknown at this point bc of how kubo is changing/adding/altering things around in the arc to make it better than it was in the manga.
Then there's the fact that uryu is using his shrift way earlier than he did in the manga and yhwach using it to teleport out of the cage.
Yh dint care this is bleach version of zynder cut we Been waiting for 😂
I liked it when Sanjumaru said that defeating Yama got into YH's head. Shows how much respect even the squad zero has for him.
Respect for who?
The Yhwach teleporting or rather switching places with the Quincy medallion, was Uryu's Anti-thesis in the works, it is also probably why Uryu has Blut in his eyes earlier, like a preparation for it, it was foreshadowed by focusing the camera on Uryu after their reactions
I actually think what's being foreshadowed there is that Uryu is somehow seeing past Senjumaru's fake royal palace.
I mean, he's looking straight at the palace and we see blut in his eyes? I don't know, nothing else really makes sense.
That 5 minute flashback was such a much needed story element. It's answered some of my questions and establishes Yhwach's goal. Now.... if we can get that 1000 year flashback.
We already got it miserable shipper stop pretending you care about bleach
I think Kubo wants to rescale the Zero Division. In the source material, they really came off as jobbers.
Yep, they are getting a full episode fight by the looks of things
Seeing as how the episode ended and how stuff was moved I'd say they're gonna get a whole fight including the ichibei and Ywhach fight
Senjumaru came back and then stood there. If Zero Division actually all fought at once, given that Oetsu speedblitzed everyone with a bad zanpakuto, they were trapped by the Cage besides Yhwach and Senjumaru was able to instant kill a presumably very strong Sternritter given that they weren't sent down to the seretei and with only one arm and the others doing their thing. Even if Uryu and Jugram got involved, I'm not sure if they could beat Zero Division.
It was for me disappointing (the original manga) but at the same time I took it as them being hubris
Because I heard they were trash lol
Yup this adaption is in the right hands. This episode was so incredibly good it's making me kinda sad that we only have one week left.
That entire flashback was like an entire chapter worth of content we have never seen before anywhere.
To think that in cour 3 and 4 we are very likely too see even more stuff like the Ichibei flashback is so crazy.
The aizen vs yhwach fight man fuck I can't wait 😭 "Welcome to my soul society"
"Thank you for getting rid of that troublesome chair.. I am now able to stand in your way" 🔥🔥😭 *busts a nut*
Debatable, I loved this EP and what we got, the vizards were still shafted and that entire issue wasn't fixed.
There's like 80 chapters left to animate so it is highly probable there are a lot of additions in cour 3 and 4.
In context cour 1 and 2 already covered 120 chapters in 24 episodes of anime adapatation.
Honestly I want the battle between squad zero and schutzstaffel be expanded, or a redemption arc of vizards(inhales copium) where they will finally use their hollow mask.
Can we all appreciate how amazing Squad Zero’s introduction was with that music? Jesus man, this was one of the best introductions I’ve ever seen
THE REACTION I WAS EAGERLY WAITING FOR ❤️

I knew tommo was gonna lose it with that flashback
And the subtle foreshadowing with ishida
This episode was a easy 10/10
Remember guys uryu never said his “I shall eliminate u” line from the trailer yet 🔥🔥🔥🔥
My theory is Uryu and Jugrum are gonna use their schrifts to balance out the damage dealt to the schutzstaffel onto the other squad zero members so they’ll be evenly matched then at e join them in the fight then it’ll be three four against six for the next episode and the final episode will be focused more on Yhwach vs Ichibe
This episode BLEW MY MIND! As soon as Tenjiro wasnt there i knew theyd changed things up
All of the scenes between Ichibei and the Soul King is really making me consider if we’ll eventually see Ichibei turn Yhwach’s body into the next soul king in cour 4.
I would honestly love to see it eventually.
I’m so freaking happy with this episode. The end and the beginning actually made me jump out of my chair cause I didn’t expect it.

Lilie : There is no way you could kill Gerald like this.
Me : Thank you Lilie for saying this.
I started watching this episode the minute it dropped. The very first scene I hit pause and said to myself, "What the hell is this. Oh my god Tommo is gonna flip!"
From what I heard Uryuu is getting a new fight. Which means that we are getting Uryuu, Haschwalth and probably the Royal Guard vs Squad Zero in an actual fight. Please let it be so in episode 25. And then in episode 26 we can focus on Ichibei vs Yhwach. I need to see Squad Zero actually show off their abilities. Shikai, Bankai. I know that they will still lose, but I hope we see more. Also loved the flashback. So much context for Yhwachs motivation, how he lost the Almighty, how he got the power to give to Pernida. And a tease of Uryuus Schrift.
only two more eps
As for how Ywach got out of the cage, I assumed that it was Ishida using the Antithesis
Yup sure was . Remember he can switch places of items so that’s why the medallion was inside the cage
The Yhwach swapping with the Quincy cross in pretty sure was Uryu’s Antithesis. That might be the reason for the scene of his “heart” (must have been the medallion) and then his eye with some sort of blut. With how smart Uryu is he most likely knew there would be some type of trap and was preparing for it.
Edit: typed this before seeing the pinned comment LOL

They did this episode fantastically, the way Ichibei sealed away the Almighty was insane!!
I was like Tommo. The interaction between Ywach and Ichibie was all i ever wanted to see. Really shows how Kubo would have handled the ending of the TYBW arc in the manga if he hadn't been rushed
Kubo literally gave us a brand new manga chapter. That intro alone could've been a chapter with 15-16 pages, can't wait to see what Kubo is cooking for cour 3
This is a really minor moment, but I love the shot composition during the scene where Ichigo and the gang are inside the Tenchuuren and are talking about Uryu. They zoom out to a camera angle above, and they show all of them sitting next to each other, with the exception of a small gap at the very bottom (where I'd imagine Uryu would've been sitting). Really nice little detail to parallel the soul society arc (minus Uryu) like you said in the video.
theory : ichigo comes up to see the defeat of the squad members at the hands of Uryu. They fight, Uryu loses and that spurs Jugrams seeds of doubt for Ishidas commitment.
I’m from the future. This title should be used again for episode 26
Robert Accutrone just becoming a meme at this point💀
The meeting with Ichibei _alone_ adds so much more context and character to YWACH. Being able to feel the fear and despair of the people who return to him is, goddamn, a really good reason to want to end the cycle of life and death.
Edit: But wait. Bachi is _reliant_ on the cycle of death to keep himself from turning back into a deaf, mute, husk of a person. If nothing dies, he cannot absorb their soul juice. But if he succeeds, the cycle of life and death will be broken.
NANI
Yeah, Ywach's trapped because of the cycle of life and death. Suffering of souls apart, it's his own fear of death (or at leats returning to his primal, powerless state) that drives him, even if he himself doesn't see it or won't recognize it. He shows little care for others' life and death, so why take that as justification to end the cycle?
Him admitting fear of death is him admitting he is not filling the role of a god as he claims to do.
I like the anime skipping Tenjiro’s scene with Nianzol. It seemed unnecessary, made Tenjiro look weak. Also made Nianzol look stronger and more important than what he actually was.
I’m pretty certain that the “teleportation” must have been related to the Antithesis (Uryu’s shrift). So already, Uryu is doing much more!
Now all we can hope is that theres new added scenes for Squad 0 next week.
omg maybe a bankai.....
Next 2 episodes are going to be insane. Apparently Yamashita and Qkawa are working on it, 2 of the best animators in the industry and there's gonna be new additional scenes. I can't wait 🔥
I was nerding TF out HARD watching this, too! I was so excited that I know I need to go back and rewatch just that opening scene a million times, too (and the whole episode, with and without subtitles)!
The anime adaptation is going better and better I love it
I like the small detail of YH throwing his Quincy medal to teleport because it closes a loophole that hadn’t been explained in the manga, it shows why YH doesn’t use Yamamotos bankai during his fight with ichibe because he used the medal containing his bankai to teleport out the cage
It could be a regular medallion. OR it was the one holding zanka no Tachi and Haschwalth will use it since his balance allowed him to be within the range of flames. Maybe Yhwach will use it later in cour 3/4? So many possibilities

And Yhwch having some motivation, other than just regular shonen “this world will be mine because I want it and I can”, is great and was much needed
The quincy girl with a gun was likely made just to have a easy to animate ranged weapon to show off ichibes other arm.
Finally, a place where we can discuss the episode with full spoilers. This episode gave me life. I really just want an arc that takes place a thousand years in the past.
They really succeeded at fleshing out the past in this episode. Also, I especially love the stuff with Pernida. They made them so intimidating and gave HUGE context for why they follow Yhwach
That Ywach and Ichibei meeting also closed the plothole of how Ywach got stabbed in the back and lost to Yamamoto. His Almighty was sealed during that time 😮
Yep. Folks argued for years that Ywach lost WITH the almighty. Which made no sense given how easily he clapped Ichibei with it and how much stronger (leagues to be exact) Ichibei was than every other shinigami. Yamamoto was certainly a powerhouse, but damn sure not strong enough to defeat Ywach with almighty activated. This episode ties that lose end up.
This was a very welcome change. Always good to get extra plot and context and it closes a potential plothole. Very good use of the opening 5 mins of a great episode

@kylemma33 He's not that far down. But yes, he's definitely not where folks thought he was on that scale. But from that flashback, Chojiro stabbed Ywach from behind and Yama delivered the finishing blow. Not like he did it alone either. At least Ichibei was a one on one fight.
Imagine if the sharpest sword ever fell from the Palace down to the Soul Society perfectly vertical 😂😂😂
Seeing how happy this makes him is worth watching lol. It is nice to know I am not the only one.
just wanted to put in my two cents, what if ichibei had both arms? that could be how he froze those bullets in place and then redirected them with his right arm, using mimihagi's control over stillness
This episode’s flashback scene was felt like the one from Cour 1 with the original Quincy attack on the Soul Society. I was not expecting either one and they both expanded on crucial details that were missing from the manga. I honestly can’t thank SP enough for this adaptation, it’s gone above and beyond and I love every new thing they’ve done so far.
Yhwach never looked so clean. He was only missing the glasses in the flashback. Ichibei had no problem revealing the soul reapers original sin.
Finally the royal guard animated in the royal palace.
Nimaya is cooler in cutting down than rapping.
The flashback makes it one of the best episodes thus far. Explaining WHY Bach wants to merge the three worlds so badly and how evil the soul king appears from his perspective. Ichibe basically said “ yup the soul king did it and that aint changing…..take your cookie and go in peace 😂”
I'm loving all these bleach reactions today. The finale with yhwach and ichibei is going to break the internet! Especially with these unexpected newly added scenes and adjustments! Peace and love to all the real bleach fans ✌🏽
i love that they made tenjiros skin look almost burnt from him soaking in his hot spring for so long
The first 5 minutes and the last 10 minutes were so epic and the animation was on point!!! Great recap Mr Tommo as usual!!
Gerards voice actor is perfect!
15:25 actually that's uyru's shcrift he was the only one not shocked and before he was having blue Quincy thing on his eye and yhwach has a second medallion it's ishida's medallion and yhwach throws it then ishida activate his shcrift On Yhwavh And The Medallion To Switch The Places of the new targets
The teleportation was Uryu’s shrift. INSANE foreshadowing
Man, I've been waiting all morning for this live reaction. This episode was INSANE!
I have never been more excited for a reaction than now!
There's a theory going around that the Quincy Girl seen in the flashback is none other than the original Pernida Pangkjas. While there is no solid evidence to back up that presumption, there is some existing circumstance which seem to lend credence to that line of thinking.
1. The Left Hand , as seen in the flashback seems to exist by itself a a non corporeal entity, in order to manifest in solid form, it would seem it would require a physical body to be it's host.
2. The Quincy Girl is introduced and portrayed somewhat prominently in a scene which also expands on the Left Hand's backstory.
3. Ichibei never refers to the Left Hand by any given name, Pernida, the name the Left Hand eventually takes on as part of the Wandenreich leans towards the feminine.
4. IIRC, Kubo has mentioned that he originally intended for Pernida to have more humanoid form under the hood, in addition the first few appearances of Pernida have it reveal what appears to be a deformed hand from under it's cloak.
5. The Left Hand being the hand of progression would have continued to merge and meld with it's host until it completely took over it's appearance and being, this is opposed to Mimihagi's situation with Ukitake, the hand of stillness keeping both of them in the same perpetual state .
Of course like i said, none of what i said is backed by solid evidence but at the same time i don't think there's anything stated that might seem to oppose it either, so it's just something we can all mull over, at least until the next episode drops , or further. 😄
AYO Ishida using the Antithesis was crazy i wonder if anime only fans will pick that up?
nah i ain’t understand it at all
They don't even know his scrift lol
I think that Yhwach switched places with that medallion because of Ishidas antithesis ,that why even haschwalt was suprised :D
I think yhwach was teleported outside of the cage of life thanks to uryu’s antithesis that’s why he throw the object outside of the cage
The soundtrack when Oetsu arrived was magnificent
I love how Tommo was on about for the entire video about that random Quincy girl with a machine girl, who's not even that relevant. Btw I may have forgotten about it, but was it implied that Hubert and the others were sternritters?
2 episodes left
PLEASE DONT LET THE 0 DIVISION GET OFF SCREENED
PLEASE GIVE THEM SHIKAIS AT LEAST FFS MAN
I think for people that had read the manga before watching the anime, this might be the best episode in the cour because how much new lore we’ve gotten but I think for anime only it’s probably Kenpachi vs Grimmy
When she tossed nianzol off the platform, his body probably disintegrated 😂😂😂
just before ohetsu throws his sword at pernida, you can see the cloak changing shape as pernida opens its hand which I thought was cool as hell
I guarentee when uryu used blud he used antithesis and will revive the schutzstaffel instead of auswahlen
BEST EPISODE SO FAR!!! in terms of history and narrative, this is the best!!! THANK YOU, KUBOOO!!
I do think they redid the icigo and orahima development (outfit scene) in a more mature and subtle manner….
When they are flying up, as they talk/think about uryu, and she leans down he blushes and turn his head after looking.
I think subtle works better then overt,
for some they can do without romantic relationship development, and they would miss it and not care.
For those into that short of thing, they would notice it and appreciate that he has some interest.
It not being overt as in the source material means it can happen without taking from the severity of the moment, this is a more somber ark than others, and we see them cutting comedic moments which ensure the overall wartime tone/theme.
I think Ichigo blushes about Uryu, not Orihime. He is embarrassed by saying I will bring Uryu back. I think.
cheers brotha, enjoyed the live reaction and can't wait to see the review. When I saw the first scene, I had to double check to make sure I didn't skip an episode.
I am from the future, I feel like you should have used that thumbnail this week.
WE ARE NOT WORTHY! Ichibe is HIM, H I M! Bro casually got reio’s left arm! And the music was on point, and the prep for next episode was great! This finale is going to be insane!
he had both the soul king's arms
Whose reio
@@Young_Ruckus Reio is the Soul King
Ha ha he told him to live a modest life basically taking his power from him lol so condescending!!!!😂😂😂
machine gun girl possibly past version of BG9? After getting injured during the meeting she's transplanted into the robot body
Loved the episode! I had the same reaction, just thinking about that intro scene during the whole episode. I'll be waiting for your review and insights man keep it up!
I can't wait to see the battle between Yhwach and Ichibe next week it will be amazing
Episode was definitely amazing 🎉 I truly think it was the best this season though Rukia vs As Nodt was really great as well… I think Uryuu and Haschwalth are to fight next week. I think this is the showing of power promised by Yhwach before. I think it will be a big showcase and after the giant battle between Ichibe and Yhwach ends and the zero division are defeated Yhwach comes back to them and brings the killed schutzstaffel back to life. This gets the weirdness of them coming back and killing zero division with ease in my opinion. Yhwach knew they would die but is willing to bring them back to kill those who come to the royal palace.
The voice actress for Shutara is so damn good... I love this character even more now.
I ain't gonna lie I was really proud of hikifune in this episode
That cage was elite guard worthy
And the manner in which the almighty was sealed had me flabbergasted fr 😂
I think it's safe to say that we all had the exact same reaction to the Ichibei Yhwach scene😂
Also, Kubo and the anime team are doing a fantastic job at crafting a more solid, definitive version of the TYBW arc.
Best episode yet imo! This was classic bleach
I’ve been waiting for this upload
2nd best episode behind Yhwach vs. Yamamoto.
Jugram is easily capable of defeating the other Squad Zero members. Period
