This and 26 were perfect. They did it! They made Squad Zero live up to their name. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Wat an amazing finale. Everything they did took my breathe away
I firmly believe when Hikifune said, "Now this is a REAL Squad 0 battle" she was absolutely breaking the 4th wall and referencing how rushed the last one was. Amazing episode and I'm SO HYPED for the next one
yes, and just like how they did zero division justice, they did quincies dirty. especially Jugram and Ishida. It was Ishida's first fight after his massive power up and he just messed up, now no one's gonna take his potential fight with Ichigo in future seriously. and jugram... my man was just a joke. he's the most mysterious quincy and yhwabach's right hand man, and yet he was the first one who lost his fight? like i'll never forget how weak they portrayed him in these episodes. they even showed his shield in the most random way like it was nothing. now no one's gonna get excited when we see his shield in his fight against ishida.

Anyone can know the Almighty hax the battle, but seeing Senjumaru utterly stomp the Sternritters with her Bankai (possibly even a better version than Shunsui) is another experience entirely. At this point I guess, Senjumaru got caught by surprise due to the Almighty haxxing her double tap and Jugrem use that moment to hit her with the Balance before she reacts. Then after that, the rest of the Shuttuffel jumped her 4-on-1 to finish her off. That is the only possible way she went down, which way better impression that getting offscreen by Gerard. Squad Zero goes from the incompetent hacks who fuck-up to the unfortunate victim of an utterly rigged battle. We can finally say what happen next is not their fault.

I was in highschool when the 1000 BW was released on digital manga, only way to read it in english for me at the time I knew then that if it was ever animated, it would be the greatest stuff out there, and bleach would finally return to its prior fame I am so glad to have my hopes realised after nearly 10 years of waiting!

Senjumaru crafting the umbrella has huge implications for her relationship with Mayuri. Consider when she actually does there: she analyzes Uryu's attack, determines the most effective counter, then crafts that counter on the fly during combat. Making the umbrella not only requires incredible speed but the ability to alter the cloth's reishi composition to perform the needed task and the intelligence to chose the correct response. I wouldn't be surprised if she was the smartest shinigami extent and is the reason Mayuri was in the Maggots Nest
Your comment just made me realize that her Bankai is Mayuri's on steroids. While Mayuri needs to prepare in advance, Senjumaru can tailor a countermeasure immediately. Broken and OP as a Zero Division member's should be

They developed a rivalry and Mayuri became bitter (perhaps Urahara was a better/more liked student) towards Urahara ever since. Fast forward to TYBW, makes sense why Mayuri doesn’t particularly care for the Zero Squad coming down to visit the Sereitei.
Couple things I enjoyed about these episodes 1. It helps explain why The Schutzstaffel were taken out so quickly, Hikifune's cage was draining their power thus weakening their abilities thus they needed the power boost to overcome it 2. Yhwach only uses Auswahlen after he's about to be beaten by Ichibei, indicating he only used it as a last resort, indicating he to some extent values the Sternritters and his army more than the manga version who simply busted it out the second things got a little difficult. 3. Zero Division gets to shine more which is always appreciated, especially getting to see one of their Bankai in action.
Her bankai was sick too. Makes me wonder what the others are. Would Nimiya even have one? Cause he just used Sayafushi and I don't think that's his zanpakuto. Just one that he said was a failure
@@darknesswave100 Far as we know it's not really his Zanpakuto as he simply used it cause it can cut through anything. Thus it's reliable. Frankly I could see his Bankai being like Shirou's Unlimited Blade Works where Nimiya can just spam Zanpakuto he's created through the centuries.

I think it would be a cool idea for Nimiya's Bankai to be a forge though. Melting, reforging, and changing the nature of someone's soul. But even that sounds a little similar to Urahara's Bankai.

@elusivegoat3647 everything that is being shown is canon and it is kubo adding all these things with the help of the animation team. He's been heavily involved and supervising the whole thing.
@elusivegoat3647 we are just going to have 2 different version of the tybw arc. The manga version and the definitive expanded version that kubo has probably always wanted to do.
And the best part imo is that the additions and expansions haven't felt dragging at all. It's just what we need where and when it needs to be in order to make the episodes feel full and characters feel fleshed out. Like the shake across the realms from her bakai was MINT PROCUCTION😂😂😂

The Auswählen scene was perfection. One of the best looking scenes in all of Bleach and by far one of the best adapted once in TYBW. The visual effects were incredible, it was incredibly emotional and the OST was perfect. Perfect. Even though some of the Sternritter are serious monster, I almost teared up at their reaction to the betrayal.
I really like how God-like both the Zero Squad and Yhwach felt in these episodes. Really adds to the idea that this is a clash between the strongest beings we have seen so far in the series.

Kind of cool that Squad Zero has their own Gentei Kaijo, a seal that keeps them from upsetting the balance of the three realms. And we know from Can’t Fear Your Own World that’s it’s okay if they die, so long as one of them is alive, they can be all be revived. This is probably the greatest addition to the series by far, maybe even better than the flashback material.
Do you think only 1 of them having to be alive to revive the rest of the squad applies to Ichibei as well? Or only to those specific 4 members? My question is: If they ALL die except Ichibei, can they still end up being revived? Or is he potentially not part of that Gentei Kaijo?
Just on a cursory reread, as long as the Royal Palace is still around, Ichibe can revive them by calling their names. I’m assuming it’s only a thing he can do, so he would need to be the one left standing, if they all died.
And the fact that the manga not having this is actually great because was a huge surprise to all us now, those unexpected things are awsome. Kubo really had so much to show, glad he can did now.

She truly did she literally reversed The Zero Squad back up the tier lists Antithesis style and if we go by their numbers in Squad Zero members (wich isn't confirmed to be a power order or anything but it could be the case) then Senjumaru would be the weakest of the pack since she's number 4 Nimaiya would be number 3 Hikifune number 2 and Kirinji number 1 *if they go that way wich again is just a posibility*

This episode was really fucking cool! I love that Askin’s Vollständig looks like a pair of molecules and that Pernida’s looks like a hand. I hope that scene with Ukitake means we will get a Ukitake vs. Pernida fight.
26 its by far the best episode i've ever seen as manga reader and knowing the original cannon material, so damn gratefull with Kubo for giving the 0 divison the space they deserve as the strongest shinigamis, cant wait to see your reaction on that one
The moment where Hikifune says something along the lines of “Now this is a Squad Zero fight!” After Senjumaru defeats Uryu feels like it was meant for the long time fans, who waited so long for squad zero to be redeemed

It’s been 4 hours glasses man, where is the next reaction? All seriousness I can’t even begin to describe how exciting these episodes were. It’s been YEARS of waiting and speculating to lead up to this.
Part of me is convinced that Kinpika’s nature as a blade of light is somehow related to Tenjirō not undergoing any consequences of hitting the Freund Schild.
The auswählen was so biblically beautiful, my favorite sequence out of the episode!:I'm wondering with that line towards Ukitake is hinting at he may actually be beamed up to the royal palace with kamikake and have a small fight with yhwach. That would be a perfect opportunity to showcase his bankai. One can hope.
My guess for the incantations are from kubo's poetry that he started doing to cope with the stress of his trying to get his first manga published, as I recall or maybe during final year of high school, not really sure now, but he fell in love with writing poems to relax and set his mind straight.

These are now my favourite two episodes of bleach ever. Thank you all the staff and animators for putting so much effort into this anime and thank you Tite Kubo for showing an extension to this amazing fight. Can't wait for part 3!

It is only fitting that Senjumaru defends against Ichida's Licht Regen using an Umbrella. Licht Regen translates into "Rain of Light". An amazing episode, and 26 did not disapoint either
The 0 squad got done right. This finale was incredible. Didnt think we'd see any of their ban kai and shenjumaru didn't disappoint. We need an explanation video on it ASAP!!
I noticed something interesting, and that is maybe the survival of Robert, given he wasn't shown having his powers stolen, nor was his attempt at mercy killing on Liltotto adapted. Maybe this means he may still live, and I can't wait to see what will come next.
Let’s pray they are actually going with that route and didn’t just cut out his scene due to time constraints (even though there were definitely hints towards that moment in the previous episodes) 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Finally, this Arc finally unleashed its Bankai !! The manga barely gave us a Shikai, but this final episode is such a joy. Thank you Kubo, thank you TV Tokyo and production team. Made me incredibly hyped for the rest of the anime and the potential of a Bleach Arc in a few years
This episode was amazing. And the next one is even more amazing! The anime really made the battle between the Schutzstaffel and the 0th Division so much better in comparison to manga that it's insane.
It always bothered me that we got no mention of Yama being invited to Squad 0. He seemed powerful enough (considering we had next to no feat from Squad 0 lol) and definitely had a cultural impact. This two episodes proved me utterly wrong and I couldn't be more happy lol.
The Squad 0 was never just about power. It was about cultural impact. I like to think that Nimaiya and Ichibe will always help the other members reach the full power of their swords and releases due to their understanding of the asauchi and proper names
YHWH implies Yamamoto was an equal to him and he dismisses most of Squad 0 as beneath his attention. Given that I think it's fair to say Yamamoto was more than powerful enough to join Squad 0. This tells me Yamamoto either refused to join or wasn't invited because of other reasons.
I'm pretty sure it was stated somewhere that Yama was given permission to join the 0 squad, but declined it because he felt his power was needed in soul society, and that there was no one down there close to strong enough to take his place
@@RealLifeIronManIn my opinion, i don't think yhwach consider yama as his equal, he was only saying that yama was a threat to him.. But that is also because when yhwach launched attack on seireitei he wasn't at full power anymore (and he clearly lost the battle) cause he lost the almighty which is explained in previous episode..

The first time Yhwach battled Yamamoto it was likely his first time ever facing someone even remotely powerful since until then he was fighting other Quincys and Yhwach didn't had the Almighty. In the second battle he had all the bagage of having lost so of course he wouldn't underestimate Yama but he still disrespected him all the way lol he slashed his corpse, stomped his head and blasted his body away whilst saying he wasn't even strong enough to be a special threat. That's not what I would consider treating someone like an equal. Squad 0 on the other hand he probably never even met anyone there other than Ichibei and didn't know the full extent of their power so he had no reason to treat them like equals from the beginning. But it's clear that Squad 0 are more powerful than Yama, Senjumaru's Bankai activation alone shook all three realms and her and Ichibei's Bankai work with reality manipulation. I'm not saying Yama is weak but considering what we just saw and what Kubo has been telling us so far Squad 0 is more powerful than him. It's outright stated and finally proved by the anime
I loved the part where Ichibei halved Yhwach power so Yhwach casually kills the useless Quincies to return most of his power… To swing his sword better. 😂😂😂

Although we are yet to see some of those guys in anime full power yet (aizen and kenny the most) i still absolutely love the respect the 0 division is getting. Aizens reatsu affected Hell realm and Kennys peak power overwhelmed SKs brain. These two i believe are o division level (if at their peak) as even ichibei is shocked by zarakis power. love the buff the 0 division got, it never made sense how weak they were portrayed. 0 division in full power will be needed for Hell Arc.
Well shunsui is getting bodied. Kenny with bankai cfyod is different, butterfly aizen gets bodied. Tybw aizen is different breed. Yama hmm he might (big might) win against hikofune or kirinji extreme diff but the other three hes getting bodied. That's my thoughts. Her bankai shook the verse that's her reitsu, yama shook the sereitei but not 3 worlds. Battle of shinigami is a battle of reitsu and if these guys cannot go all out together cause of messing up the three world nahh they on a different level.
I think they are stronger than all except Aizen. Hogyoku is busted. Would kill to see the bankais of the others tho i have a feeling Oetsu is the strongest
No words can describe how I feel about these last 2 episodes, sorry, 3 episodes (last week included).... in total awe... I cried at the beginning with Hiyori and Urahara, and how she totally saw through him, and the concern that she seemed to have towards Yourichi and Ichigo. After the opening, I loved how they were switching from one scene to the next, it was very fluid, many battles were happening at the same time, and the anime portrayed that very well... just in awe. Two absolutely awesome episodes, 1 teaser trailer for Cour 3, 1 Cour 2 recap and live reactions from MrTommo in just a few hours (I was working today).... what a great day to be a Bleach fan!!!
Haschwalth being killed was a surprise to me as well, though but doesn't even look like he even used his Shrift, and only used his swordsmanship. Uryu being killed/defeated was something I did not expect honestly It's a bit nitpicky for me personally, but I was disappointed that the anime adapted out Robert's last moments and his death, to me, it made sense that he would explain Auswhlen to Liltotto and Giselle since they're newer members of the Wandenreich, implying that Robert has been in the group for much longer than most
It's good to see Squad 0 finally escaping the fraud allegations but I'm so disappointed with my boy Haschwalth. You would think Mr. Grandmaster over here can handle himself against Squad 0 and make it a stalemate against Kirinji but no, he got bodied and had to be revived via Auswählen😅

I don't think I've ever, in my life, ever consumed a bit of media, and then been so simultaneously hyped to watch somebody else watch it with a deeper and more fulfilling sense. I can genuinely say, I'm so happy to watch along with MrTommo to see the excitement with all of the new content. Every second of the new episodes all I was thinking "I can't wait to see his reaction to this!" 😂 Im so fucking hyped to see his reaction for the next episode!
It’s only gonna get better and better from here. I’m looking forward to the loads of extra content we’ll get in the next cours. Also, jumping back a bit, the extra scene with Tetsuzaemon and Sajin may not seem like much, but it speaks volumes about the amount of effort they’re putting into this. They didn’t have to give such a minor character an extra scene, but they did. I’m hoping other neglected characters get similar love going forward. Iba’s extra scene was small, but I feel like it matters.
This was utterly impressive! From what I got from the spanish sub, Jugram actually used the balance to break the cage, and they didn't understand what happened.

Couple things I enjoyed about these episodes
1. It helps explain why The Schutzstaffel were taken out so quickly, Hikifune's cage was draining their power thus weakening their abilities thus they needed the power boost to overcome it
2. Yhwach only uses Auswahlen after he's about to be beaten by Ichibei, indicating he only used it as a last resort, indicating he to some extent values the Sternritters and his army more than the manga version who simply busted it out the second things got a little difficult.
3. Zero Division gets to shine more which is always appreciated, especially getting to see one of their Bankai in action.
Her bankai was sick too. Makes me wonder what the others are. Would Nimiya even have one? Cause he just used Sayafushi and I don't think that's his zanpakuto. Just one that he said was a failure
@@darknesswave100 Far as we know it's not really his Zanpakuto as he simply used it cause it can cut through anything. Thus it's reliable.
Frankly I could see his Bankai being like Shirou's Unlimited Blade Works where Nimiya can just spam Zanpakuto he's created through the centuries.

I think it would be a cool idea for Nimiya's Bankai to be a forge though. Melting, reforging, and changing the nature of someone's soul. But even that sounds a little similar to Urahara's Bankai.

Kubo did an absolutely insane job with these last 3 episodes and especially with how hes altered and changed things and expanded on so much.

@elusivegoat3647 everything that is being shown is canon and it is kubo adding all these things with the help of the animation team. He's been heavily involved and supervising the whole thing.
@elusivegoat3647 we are just going to have 2 different version of the tybw arc. The manga version and the definitive expanded version that kubo has probably always wanted to do.
And the best part imo is that the additions and expansions haven't felt dragging at all. It's just what we need where and when it needs to be in order to make the episodes feel full and characters feel fleshed out. Like the shake across the realms from her bakai was MINT PROCUCTION😂😂😂

The Auswählen scene was perfection. One of the best looking scenes in all of Bleach and by far one of the best adapted once in TYBW.
The visual effects were incredible, it was incredibly emotional and the OST was perfect. Perfect.
Even though some of the Sternritter are serious monster, I almost teared up at their reaction to the betrayal.
I was open mouthed like "Woah"
The sound of the bells gave me chills.🥶
Senjumaru has been an absolute treat.
I really like how God-like both the Zero Squad and Yhwach felt in these episodes. Really adds to the idea that this is a clash between the strongest beings we have seen so far in the series.

Kind of cool that Squad Zero has their own Gentei Kaijo, a seal that keeps them from upsetting the balance of the three realms. And we know from Can’t Fear Your Own World that’s it’s okay if they die, so long as one of them is alive, they can be all be revived. This is probably the greatest addition to the series by far, maybe even better than the flashback material.
Do you think only 1 of them having to be alive to revive the rest of the squad applies to Ichibei as well? Or only to those specific 4 members?
My question is: If they ALL die except Ichibei, can they still end up being revived? Or is he potentially not part of that Gentei Kaijo?
Just on a cursory reread, as long as the Royal Palace is still around, Ichibe can revive them by calling their names. I’m assuming it’s only a thing he can do, so he would need to be the one left standing, if they all died.
And the fact that the manga not having this is actually great because was a huge surprise to all us now, those unexpected things are awsome.
Kubo really had so much to show, glad he can did now.

This episode was really fucking cool! I love that Askin’s Vollständig looks like a pair of molecules and that Pernida’s looks like a hand. I hope that scene with Ukitake means we will get a Ukitake vs. Pernida fight.

The moment where Hikifune says something along the lines of “Now this is a Squad Zero fight!” After Senjumaru defeats Uryu feels like it was meant for the long time fans, who waited so long for squad zero to be redeemed

The auswählen was so biblically beautiful, my favorite sequence out of the episode!:I'm wondering with that line towards Ukitake is hinting at he may actually be beamed up to the royal palace with kamikake and have a small fight with yhwach. That would be a perfect opportunity to showcase his bankai.

My guess for the incantations are from kubo's poetry that he started doing to cope with the stress of his trying to get his first manga published, as I recall or maybe during final year of high school, not really sure now, but he fell in love with writing poems to relax and set his mind straight.

It is only fitting that Senjumaru defends against Ichida's Licht Regen using an Umbrella. Licht Regen translates into "Rain of Light". An amazing episode, and 26 did not disapoint either

I noticed something interesting, and that is maybe the survival of Robert, given he wasn't shown having his powers stolen, nor was his attempt at mercy killing on Liltotto adapted. Maybe this means he may still live, and I can't wait to see what will come next.
Let’s pray they are actually going with that route and didn’t just cut out his scene due to time constraints (even though there were definitely hints towards that moment in the previous episodes) 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Finally, this Arc finally unleashed its Bankai !! The manga barely gave us a Shikai, but this final episode is such a joy. Thank you Kubo, thank you TV Tokyo and production team. Made me incredibly hyped for the rest of the anime and the potential of a Bleach Arc in a few years

The anime really made the battle between the Schutzstaffel and the 0th Division so much better in comparison to manga that it's insane.
It always bothered me that we got no mention of Yama being invited to Squad 0. He seemed powerful enough (considering we had next to no feat from Squad 0 lol) and definitely had a cultural impact. This two episodes proved me utterly wrong and I couldn't be more happy lol.
The Squad 0 was never just about power. It was about cultural impact. I like to think that Nimaiya and Ichibe will always help the other members reach the full power of their swords and releases due to their understanding of the asauchi and proper names
YHWH implies Yamamoto was an equal to him and he dismisses most of Squad 0 as beneath his attention. Given that I think it's fair to say Yamamoto was more than powerful enough to join Squad 0. This tells me Yamamoto either refused to join or wasn't invited because of other reasons.
I'm pretty sure it was stated somewhere that Yama was given permission to join the 0 squad, but declined it because he felt his power was needed in soul society, and that there was no one down there close to strong enough to take his place

But that is also because when yhwach launched attack on seireitei he wasn't at full power anymore (and he clearly lost the battle) cause he lost the almighty which is explained in previous episode..

The first time Yhwach battled Yamamoto it was likely his first time ever facing someone even remotely powerful since until then he was fighting other Quincys and Yhwach didn't had the Almighty. In the second battle he had all the bagage of having lost so of course he wouldn't underestimate Yama but he still disrespected him all the way lol he slashed his corpse, stomped his head and blasted his body away whilst saying he wasn't even strong enough to be a special threat. That's not what I would consider treating someone like an equal. Squad 0 on the other hand he probably never even met anyone there other than Ichibei and didn't know the full extent of their power so he had no reason to treat them like equals from the beginning. But it's clear that Squad 0 are more powerful than Yama, Senjumaru's Bankai activation alone shook all three realms and her and Ichibei's Bankai work with reality manipulation. I'm not saying Yama is weak but considering what we just saw and what Kubo has been telling us so far Squad 0 is more powerful than him. It's outright stated and finally proved by the anime

Although we are yet to see some of those guys in anime full power yet (aizen and kenny the most) i still absolutely love the respect the 0 division is getting. Aizens reatsu affected Hell realm and Kennys peak power overwhelmed SKs brain. These two i believe are o division level (if at their peak) as even ichibei is shocked by zarakis power.
love the buff the 0 division got, it never made sense how weak they were portrayed. 0 division in full power will be needed for Hell Arc.
Well shunsui is getting bodied. Kenny with bankai cfyod is different, butterfly aizen gets bodied. Tybw aizen is different breed. Yama hmm he might (big might) win against hikofune or kirinji extreme diff but the other three hes getting bodied. That's my thoughts. Her bankai shook the verse that's her reitsu, yama shook the sereitei but not 3 worlds. Battle of shinigami is a battle of reitsu and if these guys cannot go all out together cause of messing up the three world nahh they on a different level.

No words can describe how I feel about these last 2 episodes, sorry, 3 episodes (last week included).... in total awe... I cried at the beginning with Hiyori and Urahara, and how she totally saw through him, and the concern that she seemed to have towards Yourichi and Ichigo. After the opening, I loved how they were switching from one scene to the next, it was very fluid, many battles were happening at the same time, and the anime portrayed that very well... just in awe. Two absolutely awesome episodes, 1 teaser trailer for Cour 3, 1 Cour 2 recap and live reactions from MrTommo in just a few hours (I was working today).... what a great day to be a Bleach fan!!!

Haschwalth being killed was a surprise to me as well, though but doesn't even look like he even used his Shrift, and only used his swordsmanship. Uryu being killed/defeated was something I did not expect honestly
It's a bit nitpicky for me personally, but I was disappointed that the anime adapted out Robert's last moments and his death, to me, it made sense that he would explain Auswhlen to Liltotto and Giselle since they're newer members of the Wandenreich, implying that Robert has been in the group for much longer than most
Hasch and Uryu werent killed since they didnt get wings after the Auswhalen

I don't think I've ever, in my life, ever consumed a bit of media, and then been so simultaneously hyped to watch somebody else watch it with a deeper and more fulfilling sense. I can genuinely say, I'm so happy to watch along with MrTommo to see the excitement with all of the new content.

Also, jumping back a bit, the extra scene with Tetsuzaemon and Sajin may not seem like much, but it speaks volumes about the amount of effort they’re putting into this.
They didn’t have to give such a minor character an extra scene, but they did. I’m hoping other neglected characters get similar love going forward. Iba’s extra scene was small, but I feel like it matters.
