    Hi! My name is Rachel. I am the creator of Sleepy Santosha. I am a certified yoga instructor who specializes in yoga for chronic illness. Although I hold two teaching certifications, the classes I teach are largely inspired by my own firsthand experiences with chronic illness and my personal yoga practice.
    Because I know what it is like to live with chronic illness, I am able to create yoga classes that intuitively support the needs of someone who is experiencing chronic pain, fatigue, brain fog, etc. and many of my classes can be practiced in bed.     I was vomiting a lot today because of a migraine, and my stomach was hurting, now it’s completely gone. Thank you, I was falling asleep to it actually 😭🙏

    this video is so helpful. i have fibromyalgia (which might be eds or pots im seeing a specialist soon), as well as sacroiliitis and plantar fasciitis. i’m also still only 19 and have horrible anxiety and videos like this are one of the only things that can stop my pain fueled panic attacks so thank you seriosuly

      I suffer too from some of those, it’s been quite a journey. I love meditation and hoping to get into yoga. If you haven’t, look up Mindbody pain or TMS (Tension Myositis Syndrome), I’ve found great solace in some of this work - my planters is near gone, I also had deep leg and groin pain, almost gone. Now my back is playing up! All the best.

    Sorry to leave yet another comment but I'm so happy I found your video. I wake up every morning in terrible pain and the only thing that helps is your video. So surprised other pain sufferers have not found this video.

    I've been suffering from a pinched axillary nerve for 3 weeks. Finally today I managed to loosen up the neck joint that was trapping it, leaving my spine immensely sore in the process. I was able to slap an ice pack on it and focus over the soreness, this is the first time in 3 weeks I have been able to meditate pain-free. I almost cried.

    Thank you for this! I have endometriosis and the pain causes tension headaches and severe nausea. I struggled with the white light imagery, but just imagining the flow of oxygen to my painful areas has massively helped! I will definitely practice this again, thank you ❤

    last time i heard your meditation i was crying at a hospital containing myself from screaming because i didn’t want to bother other people and their pain, which is basically what got me there, containing my emotions so i don’t bother anyone… im just realizing something very important, this pain… i don’t want it anymore, its all somatic, all from stress, imagine containing all your pain for 12 years, of course it will come out somehow, if someone’s been through something similar, please don’t let it get so far, listen to yourself, no one else will like you can…
    also, you have no idea how much this has helped me on those hideous pain peaks, when not even intravenous diclofenac works, im so grateful i found you

    What a lovely calming video! Thank you so much!❤ I'm currently suffering from a reoccurrence of a low back injury. Releasing the muscle tension with slow breathing and imagining healing energy flow through my body definitely helping me relax as anxiety just contrbutes to the pain.

    I did this meditation with headache over the weekend and was happy to find some moments of relief during this meditation and after ❤ I did it again today and it helped me relax :)

    I don't know why but I cried during the end of the meditation. I don't know if it was relief because I could have that moment or frustration that it didn't work instantly.🤷🏼‍♀️ At the moment it felt more like frustration.
    I still enjoyed the meditation as in itself though🙏🏻🥰

    Currently suffering from a sciatica on top of my other issues (likely eds, pots, and/or ra-still trying to figure it out) and this really did help a bit. If nothing else, im more at peace with the pain thats left. I was able to let some of the anger i had directed at my body just melt away.
    Thank you rachel, I'll definitely be using this again.

    Thankyou for this meditation. Yesterday had ACL reconstruction surgery with keyhole on my left knee. Being pagan I needed to meditate and you helped my pain relief as I write this comment.
    The Ironic thing as well that helped me connect to you is I am on the waiting list in the UK to be tested for Elhners Danlos Syndrome and you the 1st meditation I heard mentioning the condition.

    Helped my headache. I've been having usually daily headaches that may lead to migraines. Using medication all the time can cause rebound headaches so I try to avoid it. This meditation brought my headache down significantly. Thank you.
